  1. I rarely log in....just 'lurk' in the shadows for the most part, but am here everyday reading. First, I always like reading your posts. This one made me want to log in so I could reply. Thank you for sharing. We never know who may hear our story, or may just be watching, and how it may change someone's life. That was a great testimony and I appreciate you sharing.

Well.... I thought i would share my own personal testimony on how I came back to christ from being such a sinner. In 2007 I was driving along the road going the speed limit around 50mph around 8:00pm at night. I was passing by Calvary Temple Church. This church always on Friday nights had christian bands and was rocking and many people would go of all age groups to go enjoy themsleves. As I was driving in the dark in my pick up truck suddenly something blind sided me and came out of the bushes from the center divider from the canal bank that sepreated the two directions of the road. I felt something hit on the side of my truck but i did not know what it was. It was too dark to see and it scared me half to death. I felt the urge to just get away and not look back because i didnt know if someone threw something at me or what. So.. before you know it im driving and my left head light is out and cops are right behind me surrounding me and tel me to pull over in the Save mart parking lot. I didnt have a clue what was going on but i knew it couldnt be good. They yelled at me and told me to get out of the truck with their guns pointed at me.... I was really scared. So i complied and got out and put my hands in the air and one officer came over and told me I'm under arrest for Felony Hit and Run. My heart sank and then he told me i hit a human being. The officer told asked me why I ran from the scene and mind you i was completely sober at the time just going down the street minding my own business when suddenly something clipped my truck.

S it turned out it was a 15 year old boy that was wearing all black with his friend that sneaked off to smoke weed in the canal bank when they were supposed to be at the church that night. I asked the officer to tell me if the kid was ok, he said he didnt think he was going to make it. All that ran through my mind at that time was my fiancee. She finally showed up with her brother in law and was bursting into tears once she saw me in the back of the cop car and when i seen her crying i started to ccry I thought my life was over if i get manslaughter. So they halu me off to the county jail where i get thrown into a holding cell to get booked which took about 8 hours because it being a friday night. As i was sitting there thinking about everything that just happened immediately something in my heart told me to start praying for the boy. So i did I asked God to heal this boy and to make a quick recovery. After i prayed and was settling in with about 20 other people in that same cell they started to ask what i was in for. I told them felony hit and run and i then went on to say i dont know if hes alive or dead. All of them started to give me crap about how im going to prison for a long time and if he dies i might get about 5 years in prison for manslaughter. I gotta say it didnt make me feel too good hearing that from these other inmates and i was feeling lousy and was hurting in my heart.

As i had my hands buried in my face anxiously waiting to get booked and into a regular cell to make my first phone call. I saw someone at the corner of my eye he was a homeless man sitting on the floor he was very grungy looking and smelt horrible. So, he comes over to me sits by me puts his arm around me and starts talking to me he told me listen dont lets these guys get to you everything will be ok just trust Jesus christ. Immediately i started to feel better like he was right and verything was gonna be ok. But then as the night went on i started to worry again.

So finally after spending a couple days in the county jail i finally got balied out my my fiancee at the time and my Mom. well..... I went home to my apartment to go lay down in my own bed i was very tired. As i walked in a picture of Jesus christ coming out of the stone door after his resurrection appeared on my bed perfectly. I asked and got mad at my fiancee and told her is this some kind of sick joke?? She said i didnt put it there I swear. I broke down crying and knew he was with me the whole time. As the years went on i had lost that same picture but a couple years later i found the exact same pciture in a gutter while I was walking. I knew from that day it was time to turn back to the lord.

P.s the boy that got hurt i met his parents in court and the boy recovered and healed within a week after having a brain contusion broken pelvic bone and punctured lung.

also i got off on a misdemeanor did some time and got involved in a program to do community service and have never been back to jail ever since.

Thats my personal story of why i came back to jesus christ

    :) :) :)

  2. Recently there seems to be allot of LOP talk by a few individuals that have no clue about what they are suggesting. Lets look at this Logically: The following are just examples for our purpose of understanding the LOP implications.

    1. Dinar notes sold and purchased at face value like $25,000 or $10,000 Dinar notes. These are legal tender and were authorized by the Iraqi government. These bills are still in circulation paying contractors and investing company's in Iraq.

    2. If I had an American $100.00 dollar bill and went to exchange it or spend it and the reply was sorry we took away one zero it is now worth $10.00, what do you think logically would happen to the US economy? what about all the companies we do business with? This would collapse the economy and create civil unrest for being lied to. Iraq cannot in mid stream say oh we decided to give you $250.00 dollars for every $25,000 dinar note?? Further what would be the point? Their projected oil output at the prices agreed upon in their budget is priced in dollars per barrel.

    3. Worst case scenario as I see it is they continue selling and building up their foreign reserves and then scrap their whole monetary system. Thus they would have to start over with a new type of money costing them hundreds of billions of dollars to do this, it would also be a logistical nightmare. They would have to make the new money first, then offer repayment to all the countries and contractors involved in Iraq. The colossal damage it would do to their global credit rating and the currency instability would cause widespread panic and loss of confidence when dealing with Iraq and especially their currency being accepted as a legitimate currency.

Thank you for such a well written piece and explanation!

    4. Remember CBI Governor Shabibi said there would be NO LOP, so Iraq as a nation knows the following variables. Through the licensed Iraqi Dinar resellers they know how much of their money Is in circulation and roughly what it would cost them to cash in the money remaining on the general market value. Consumer confidence would crash thus leading to a much wider run on the banks cleaning them out in 24 to 48 hours. So I think we can rule out the LOP Crap. It just cannot happen IMO.

The discussion about a lower rate depicts a totally different opinion on my part and here's why I feel this way:

    1. The value of a currency symbolizes a country;s economic output along with consumer confidence in it's own monetary system. when Iraqi consumers begin spending their Dinars on consumables and of course the western lifestyles such as cars, big screen TV's and bigger better homes they damn sure are not going to go backwards add the fact that many Iraqi's have never traveled outside of Iraq, they will come to realize all the benefits of being a free people with a currency of comparable rates to their neighbors they will want more of the goods they have been missing out on for so many years.

    2. Lets look at this from an economic perspective, Lets say Iraq RV's at a rate of 35cents at that rate of exchange the Saudi's and the surrounding countries would be GREATLY encouraged to stop pumping their own oil, buy it from Iraq at the bargain basement prices and then resell the oil to the western nations making HUGE profits while all their oil is being saved for a rainy day such as Iraq's oil being pumped dry , from overuse and being under-priced. Not a very favorable situation for Iraq or us IMO.

    3. It is in Iraq's best interests to come out of the hole their in swinging. The only RV restrictions are that Iraq cannot exceed it's neighbors rates + or - 20%. Given this set of circumstances Iraq is in a very strong position, for Iraq this could be a win win return as a global power and economic leader within their region for now. I mean even if they came in to the pre-war value of $3.22 this rate would certainly do the following, boost consumer spending and confidence, encourage foreign companies to rethink their approach when conducting business in Iraq and allow Iraq to grossly exceed their expected oil revenues all of which paint a very favorable outlook for Iraq.

    4. finally we all know what these implications apply to many of us, First Time Millionaires! Paying an enormous amount of taxes as a whole to the US government will ease the deficit significantly as well. what will this do for our economies you ask? Pay off homes, buy new cars and get rid of the revolving credit so many of us have as well. Lastly factor in the investments markets we will undoubtedly be getting into to protect and grow our own personal wealth.

In closing my summary on our investment

    1. Stay the course and hold on for a bit longer we will get there soon enough and the payout will be much more than you thought possible, Iraq is financially very strong in two areas, Foreign holdings and in Precious metals i.e. Gold and Silver.

    2. You can be sure that Iraq has strong indicators about how much of their currency is still in the commercial market as well as the civilian market and they are well aware of these costs involved.

    3. We are at the pentacle of this Investment I believe, soon our hopes and dreams will come to fruition and we will all begin a new chapter in our lives, the question on this one is will we make a difference or not. Peace.

Thank you for such a well written piece and explanation! :)

  3. can you forward the info on that bank please

The branch I used was in Indian Trail, NC but 5/3 are all over the place. It was $105 (and change), plus $10 handling fee and another $5.00 if you are not a member, for 100,000 dinar. I would just get #s from information and try calling ahead to see which branches are still selling. This was earlier this week that I was in there so things may have changed by now. Based on some of the posts, it can change overnight. I will be calling on Monday to see since I have friends who plan on making a purchase. Of course, they may be using a different branch so I will recommend they call ahead first. Good luck! :D

PS...I ask the teller who was helping me about a De La Rue machine and she had NO clue what I was talking about. May have just been that teller.

  4. Hello all,

Just wanted to add, I went into 5/3 Friday the 26th in Smyrna,TN to buy dinars. I had no problem at all purchasing them. I was told it will take 2 weeks to get here.

My family has all been invested for while, but this is my first buy. I was so nervous I didn't even know how to ask about them... But it all worked out in the end..

I made a purchase this past Tuesday (3/22/11) at a 5/3 in NC with no problems. And spoke with them the next day to get some info and nothing was said about them not selling anymore. As far as I can see, it's still available through 5/3 in NC.

  5. This is a story about a man named Johnny Smith who was a truck driver in Iraq which I had the pleasure and honor of working with there for almost 2 years and was a very close friend of mine. he was also a member of this site. johnny was on a mission Friday night when his truck hit an I.E.D and caught on fire. He bailed out of the truck to try to make a run for it but had to run thru the flames. he suffered 3rd degree burns on 70% of his body. he was flown to germany but passed away in during sugery from wounds he received from the blast. So when we get frustrated about the dinar not rving just remember there is alot more to life than dinar and the rv and that is life itself. and if it never rvs you are still alive and when we get angry that this dont happen when we want it to remember the men and women that made the ultimate sacrafice for this opportunity to happen and the familys they left behind and the children that dont have a father or a mother anymore . Johnny Smith good bye my friend and god bless you and thank you for all you did and god bless your family i will see you again my friend one day on the other side

My prayers go out to his family and friends. This does bring things back into perspective. So sorry to hear. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Alright don't bash me but when I was watering my yard I looked in my tree and saw two guys sitting there and I asked them "What are you doing in my tree?" and they looked at me and said "We are oil guys!" and I looked at them and wondered about if they knew anything about the possible Dinar revaluation and before I could ask they said "You should invest in the Dinar!!!" They jumped out of the tree and ran off, I never saw those guys again but I'm pretty sure there will be a RV next Monday...

Haha...sounds solid to me!:lol::lol: Those two guys must know for sure. Go RV on Monday!

  7. Newbie first post – I’m not posting to share an opinion but an observation of our times and to offer encouragement.

I am not an expert, nor do I have any inside information or connections. I try to balance out my opinions with facts and possible alternatives. I pretty much keep those opinions to a close group of friends that allow give or take with the understanding that an opinion shared is part of the gleaning process to understand the issue at hand.

I am an investor of the Dinar. It is just that; an investment. My hopes and dreams are not tied into the success or failure of the Dinar or any other investment I make.

What makes the Dinar investment unique is not so much the possibility of a solid return but the possibility of real wealth becoming available to those with very little investment experience all because they took a chance; sorta like gambling but with a crash course in financial ‘what if’s’ attached. In the end, it’s all good. Most will come away with a better understanding of the financial world around us.

With that growing understanding some have expressed fear and anger regarding the possibility that their hopes and dreams will not come to fruition or that because of an oppressive taxation they voice plans to expatriate either financially or physically.

Some have expressed concerns that with the Global Economy or New World Order master planned by men and organizations in the shadows America is doomed.

What has happened to the America we love? What is happening to America that seemingly is crushing our hope?

Will an offshore account or corporation change the inevitable?

Offshore accounts and incorporation do provide certain benefits, but do they/ will they re-instill hope for the American Dream? These strategies are recent phenomena that have come into existence for the service of those who find the effort of protecting assets less demanding than holding our own government representatives accountable. Law makers make the law on behalf of the American people. Who votes them into office…?

Freedom and Liberty exist in our hearts and minds. Our Founding Fathers acknowledged ‘this truth’. This is the premise to each of our sovereignty and the basis of the 4th Amendment.

We truly are a free people. We already have the liberty to pursue happiness until we die. That freedom, liberty and happiness already exists within our homes, our families and friends. We know exactly what that means deep down within each of our hearts and souls. Yes, we know there is a media and cultural definition of Liberty and Freedom that stretches our understanding and patience. We know the Federal Government attempts to redefine the American Dream through regulation. But, we also know those institutions lack the power and authority to replace what we know in our heart of hearts with bureaucratic mumble speak.

America is great and Americans prevail by having recognized this truth in conjunction with hard work. Each one of us has a trade, skill or labor that we may freely present to the market place for currency. Currency may rise or fall but our individual self worth remains the same and I would go so far as to say ‘Priceless’.

Don’t sell yourself short. YOU are that offshore account. YOU are that financial institution that will provide the best rate for your family. YOU are that lobbyist that will influence the lawmaker to adjust tax law and the next election.

The Dinar? It’s just another tool or opportunity for you to consider how best to use with the wealth of Liberty and Independence you already possess.

    Kind Regards,

    George

Thank you for a great post!

  8. "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness.....it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair..." This is but a part of Charles Dicken's "A Tale of Two Cities", perhaps the best opening paragraph of any literary work. He ends it with "In short, the period was so far like the present".....

So, here we are. Life sucks. People that have jobs probably hate them - live for the week-end, but dread Sunday nights. We, in general think poorly of the world, and, as such, think poorly of the people of the world. Yes, there are some great people who we interact with every day, or at least we hear about people doing great things. But, in general, we do not see too many, nor hear of their goodness. The media does not talk about the goodness of people very often. Why? They run a business and they feel that their readers and viewers only want to hear things that deal with "the winter of despair". Are we nearing Armageddon? People felt secure that we were not - one reason being is that "the Anti-Christ" hasn't appeared. Yet many felt this wasn't true because there was always George W. Bush to blame. He could be the Anti-Christ, but now even the most strident of all Bush bashers have had to back down because maybe he wasn't so bad, after all. Hillarious looked like a good candidate for the job, but when satan interviewed her, he thought she was too mean for the job, and that giggle/snort.

But now, maybe there is someone coming to the forefront of our consciousness, someone who speaks in psycho babble, has dark hair, kind of athletic looking. He could be a movie star. Well, truth is he is, or at least was. yes, Charlie Sheen is the Anti-Christ. This is perfect casting, but he has a tough job ahead of him. You see, we are entering "the spring of hope". People are not mean spirited or uncaring (excluded from this are the ladies, who cut you off in their BMW's while using their cell phones).

Most people are fantastic. Just look at this site. Look at the kindness; the caring that you can see through their posts. Oh, even the mean ones are kind of cool. The Dinar experience is coming to a close, All things are pointing to it. How about the new rules haded down to DT. Do you think the Feds would come up with all these new laws-to serve one purpose - fill in the loop-holes of not paying tax on the revaluation of the Dinar. So, it is coming.

This week-end, a group of people have arranged for a pan cake breakfast for my grandson who has fought and beat leukemia. When I first heard of this, I thought how great. There will be donations of items and silent auctions. This would help defray the incredible hospital bills. My grand son in the past 16 months has had 100 operating procedures, over 400 doses of chemo. His many hospital stays would mean being tethered to a bed for 5 days each time, and every time I visited him he was bouncy, healthy and of good cheer. I knew he was cured because the best barometer of a person's physical status are not the tests, but the demeanor of the person himself. He would get shots in his thighs and wouldn't cry, maybe a tear would roll down his cheek. His courage has been like nothing I have ever seen. He will be two in April and he has already accomplished more in his life, given people hope-inspired far and above any one I know. His story has made the newspapers. Well, we are having this pancake breakfast - no big deal, except that they are now expecting over 2,000 people to come. So, don't tell me people are jaded or we are in "the winter of despair". Americans are looked upon as being greedy capitalists. I think you/we are great.

By the way, his name is Noah. Thanks and remember that you will be blessed shortly. God will judge how you handle this blessing.

I too have been through this. I had a child with a brain tumor. There was a huge amount of support and a couple of fund raisers that turned out tons of good hearted. caring people. There was also a good bit of media coverage so I too saw the hearts of many people. There are, and will always be, a few bad apples in the bunch but for the most part, people care! Prayers to Noah and family. So glad he is doing well. Thanks for this post. It was nice to start my day with such an encouraging read. :)

  9. I'm a little confused on the larger notes and hope someone can help. I got some from 5th/3rd bank and the first purchase they were 1000 notes. The next purchase were 25,000 notes. I understand it's better to have the smaller denominations . Will I still be able to cash in the larger ones after the RV? Will they honor these? Will the bank trade them for the smaller notes? Thanks in advance. Learning as I go.

  10. Well said. No response is better than a nasty one. Everyone is tired and a bit on edge, but all the more reason to remain level headed and positive.

I have noticed how the closer it seems an RV may occur, the more frustrated people are getting in their responses to such simple questions. All the poster wanted to know about a PREDICTED RATE, not a factual. Predicted meaning a guess.

We can all guess and hope what a rate may be. What is the harm in saying "Hey, I predict from what I have read it will be anywhere from 10 cents to 10 dollars."?

Why is it the ones who seem to have more experience in deducing information, are popular in their posts, and just plain popular here in the site say, "I believe in what I have read and calculated, the rate may be 1 dollar!", and get all kinds of pluses and "attaboys", and tons of thanks for making such a statement?

Just because someone is learning and asks questions to learn gives no merit to be answered in such a way as to be told; "No one knows so stop asking stupid questions." In my opinion, that is rude and hurtful. But what do I know, I am still fairly new here also.

I have watched people go from responding in a polite, cordial and respectful way to now being rude and thoughtless. If you don't like the question, why respond in such a disrespectful way?

I miss the helpful and "let me point you in the right direction" responses. I know it is frustrating. More so for those who have been on this journey for a very long time. But stay the course and don't lose focus.

If you attain such great wealth as you imagine the RV will deliver, and you are impatient and rude to others, will you then become the rich snob that so many people detest? I haven't invested enough to defend if I will or not, but I know it is not in my nature. I live by the most important rule my mother taught me: "TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WISH TO BE TREATED. LOVE LIKE YOU WANT TO BE LOVED. CARE LIKE YOU WANT TO BE CARED FOR."

Sorry, I have just gotten disappointment overload seeing another rude response.

Good luck to us all. May everyone's dreams and wishes happen as they imagine.
