When corruption is involved and as deep as it is there. The Iranian stronghold will go to the ends of the earth to hang on, there willing to do what ever is necessary in there eyes And that means killing anyone who stands against them. Unfortunately more innocents will die before there pushed back far enough. I am glad the Iragi's are standing up for themselves, but its going to take time. Go Irag and GM DV

Agreed Theseus, Irag is not alone in the RI or RV. There are other entity's involved, everyone needs to have hands on deck and agree including finalizing the HCL, which if the Kurds continue to agree to there percentage. It wouldn't take much to finish that part. Its all about timing, they only have one shot at this. And they need to get it correct.

I think by holding up on bringing anymore ammunition and training there military and F16 parts is a great. I say start squeezing them by thy throat until they see stars, and hold that squeeze for a good 3 mnths with some additional kicks to the groins. Maybe they might see were serious and change there outlook, its a start. I mean you cant fix stupid but you might be able to possibly show there is more then one path.

The US Congressman, Republican, Michelle Waltz called for directly targeting Iran to force its militias to stop targeting American forces. "The Iranian-backed militias will not stop attacking Americans across the Middle East unless we raise costs to Iran," he said on his Twitter account. (In reference to Iran paying the price for its actions).
Three of the five rockets that targeted the Green Zone in central Baghdad , on Sunday evening, landed right inside the campus of the American embassy, and one of them hit the restaurant at dinner time, according to a security source confirmed to "AFP".

In turn, an American source confirmed to Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channels that rockets had fallen inside the campus of the American embassy in Baghdad. The correspondent of the "Al-Arabiya" and "Al-Hadath" channels pointed to the heavy flight of American air in the skies of Baghdad and near the American embassy in the Green Zone after the attack. He also confirmed the landing of helicopters at the embassy airport, which evacuated a number of those injured in the attack.
In the same context, the agency "France Press" quoted a senior Iraqi official as confirming that at least one person was wounded, and it was not yet clear whether he was an American citizen or an Iraqi employee working in the mission.
The US diplomatic mission has come under several missile attacks in recent months, but Sunday's attack, the second in a week, was earlier than usual. This is the first time that a direct hit has been announced.
