From my understanding the last time Iraq was at 1 billion notes the rate was 3+. They are telling everyone exactly what they are doing.

I have no doubt when building 7 came down. A couple of fires does not cause a building to implode. The owner uses the phrase " we decided to pull it", which is a demolition term. Not to mention the BBC reporter reporting live on air of the collapse of building 7 when in the back ground it is still standing for another 20 minutes. The question then becomes "What were they trying to hide in the destruction of building 7.

I live 5 minutes from the school. Apparently he was constantly bullied. This kid snapped. What I don't understand is that his parents didn't notice any changes in there son. The sad part is that our passive society thinks problems like bullying can be talked out or have a bullying class. Bullying is based on fear. Ironically all bullies are cowards at heart. Aggressive behavior is only stopped by aggressive confrontation. Not necessarily physical, but one needs to learn to stand their own ground. And if it happens to be a group, all groups be it people or animals have a leader. Confront the leader and the rest will follow. There is no other way to stop a bully.

The answer is in your question. If you are not 100% confident then you shouldn't. Now I believe that there will be an increase in value with out a doubt. But that is my personal view. My purchases were based on what personal goals did I want to accomplish and what my exit statagy was.

My son and I have been going to Atlantis for Thanksgiving for the past 6 years. She will love it! It has something for every age group. Well said! The sad part is that when it does RV, there will be those who do not believe and will still argue that it didn't.In the interest of being technical, LOL (and I too mean no disrespect) but what were
all saying is that we have never seen all blanks. Sure we've seen blank spots and of course
the everpresent dashes, but the entire currency part is gone from the Arabic side.
Again this could easily be nothing, but there's nothing wrong with hoping otherwise.
ESPECIALLY when you consider all the other news. For instance the fact that it is
clear that HCL is going to be implemented with this budget. But that doesn't guarantee
an RV either. Or the news articles telling us how many foreign banks are easing foreign
currency transfers, again that doesn't guarantee an RV either. How about the Anbar
crises, and how Baghdad seems to have shown the world Iraq can provide security.
Of course that doesn't guarantee an RV either. And how many articles telling us how
many different infrastructure projects are to be implemented this year. And now it seems
some are getting a little anxious about the passage of the budget so as to begin those
projects. Of course, again that doesn't guarantee an RV.
We've seen so much in the last few weeks that I don't think a little bit of excitement is
out of order. To attempt to rain on that isn't, "keeping people grounded", it only suggest
speculation on an investment may not be the best thing for some. This is not a lottery
ticket were involved with here, it's an investment with a possible rapid growth rate.
But even if that's not the case it most certainly is a GROWING investment. One that
has nearly tripled in the last 11yrs. You can't get those kind of returns even in today's
stock market. Paper tiger that it is.
What we have here, between you and I, is merely two types of perception. That's O.K.
it's what makes the world go round. Cheers.

Interesting considering 50 dinars at 1160 to 1 is about 2 cents US. That means, for example a class 1 at 50 dinar a month is equal to 2 cent tax for a month? Things are about to change!

Very good post! I have always believed they are moving according to a 10 year plan. We only know what they let us know. The only problem I have seen is that investors allow themselves to get emotionally attached to this investment. All investments are speculation of making a return. This is no differant. Detach and relax! We are nearing the end of this ride. Just keep in mind, who do you think orchestrated this? USA. There will be no lop period! If this was the intentions they would not be reducing the money supply, there would be no need too. If you do not believe this single fact then why are you here? I am just grateful for this opportunity. Merry Chirstmas and a VERY Happy New Year to all!

With all due respect to Adam, According to the CbI they have been reducing the note count. The last indication of where they are at was 4 billion notes back in October 2014. Their goal is to get 1 billion notes. I believe there is no way that we will be able to exchange our higher denominations for the newer ones unless we were in Iraq. As I understand it they will not be released outside of Iraq. When they recall our notes, it would be counter productive for Iraq to exchange them for the newer denoms. I do agree that the initial rate will be low and with a 45 to 60 day exchange window. It also appears to be a float from that point. The only ones that will benefit the most will be the governments as we were never intended to be part of this. I will be grateful for what I can receive on exchange.
