    Actually, I cant see ANYBODYS Avatar. It comes up with a box with an "X" in it. But I would assume that they are either Apollo or Rocket. But without a picture, I cannot tell you. Sorry.

    Nooooooooooo its an underwater shot of me doing Diver Dan... really teeny tiny diver dan... but diver nonetheless..... (which would explain the fin question.....) Which of course leads me to question how many rockets have you seen with fins?... lol lol ... sorry its so late where you are... you must be wired tired at this point?

    USMC... I still suspect that Kuwait has jumped out ahead of the game to make money on this... and amnow wondering when Iraq/CBI will actually RV with the official rate..... (meaning I think the rate we have for the bank is what they will pay.... but is not the official rate set by the big kahuna)

    so I have about 1300 people who work for me.... And there are some I trust with the "inside info" and that gets leaked at times down to the supervisors and line.... So AliveandCare, I could envision that those on the line, or those that others spoke with.... did in fact actually know what they were talking about, and by the time you got to the supervisor, he knew it was not yet for publication.... and so gave you the ole intimation...... cause he knew he couldnt say what the other people didn't know they couldn't say... but actually knew... I see that happen all the time in bigger organizations.... all the time.

    I called and got through after the 4th call. Well, the first time I got through, but it was such broken english, that I hung up.

    I asked the man:

    I have 20,000,000 Iraqi Dinar. Can I exchange them with you for Kuwait Dinar?

    " Yes. If you exchange 20 million Iraqi Dinar, you will get 2 million Kuwait Dinar."

    Now, I dont know what to make of this. Other have posted the same. Others have also said they were told no. I really dont know what to think.

    BUt I wanted to hear for myself, so I ran to the gas station, got a phone card and called.............

    What do you think?

    BTW, this has to be some kind of record.... 115 people reading this thread.....

    You have waited this long....perhaps consider waiting a few more days... say until our Thursday. You can always start packing Wilson, lube and condiments now, and while doing so, set up your house to be gone for a few..... But as far as cashing out.... and all of it....now? I would so totally wait until a few more days, and even then, not cash it all out....

    Oh thank God!!! I was picturing bermuda shorts, sandals and white socks, with perhaps a kodak tied loosely about your neck........ At which point I was going to offer to try and conceal the target on your back .....

    Anyone still wearing digicam over there? I was going to break mine out and sport that.... though probably everyone in uniform is now in multicam :(.... and yes usaf is stupidly stuck on tiger.... but some of us got to wear digi and multi... and I didn't give mine back ^5 :)

    I was reading the Iraqi newspaper and reviewing articles for the last few days....

    I found this written about Kuwait on Jan 8th, rather interesting:

    "The Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations involve several outstanding issues, including the compensations to be afforded by Iraq as a result of the 1991 invasion of Kuwait, Kuwait’s position regarding Iraq’s exit from Chapter VII of the UN Charter, the demarcation of borders between the two neighboring countries and the remains of missing Kuwaitis during the Iraqi invasion".

    I also thought ir was interesting that today's poll in the Iraqi news was this question, with this result:

    By the way, the big cheese in Kuwait, speaking about the upcoming Arab summit in Iraq said that finding the Kuwaiti bodies was not an issue impeding their participation with Iraq in this summit...(in so many words)

    I am thinking that Kuwait is going to buy as much as they can to hold for the higher revalue. If I were Kuwait, I would certainly do so. It makes total sense. And given they are outnumbered on lifting the sanctions... and probably getting a lot of pressure... doing it this way assures them of higher valued reparations once it does revalue.

    No one ever suspects the obvious. Maybe, just maybe I will take all that money and make a full blown outfit out of it. I will literally wear the money. That way I can say.. No, I do not have more than 10k cash on me. But my clothes cost me 5 million dollars. :D

    I think you would pull that plan off better if you were found wearing that outfit while paddling in on your raft.... Beach in Florida, they have some interesting prints/clothing there.... total blend in

    This reminds me of the time in 09 I don't remember the month Nov. I think when it showed on a currency site at 1.49US.We was all freakin out.lol The same is true now that was true then.It would be nice but if it is not on the CBI site then it isn't for real.

    I so hope I'm wrong I would jump the next flight out.I will depart Sky Harbor out of Phx. for anyone that wants to go as a group for safety.lol
