Yeah Kuwait was a RI although everyone calls it a RV and they had their infrastructure and Govt intact but they still did the RI and brought it back up after it had plummeted and did it relatively quickly. Ive always wondered why out of all the people invested in IQD that someone would know someone who made the big bucks on the KWD but I have yet to ever see a trace of anyone. Have you ever seen anyone that has come forth ?? Or heard an actual story of someone who made millions off of it ??

Yeah Ive definitely heard those ideas before and Fractional Banking is valid and makes sense but I guess Im not a good speculative investor.....Im a details guy and I wish we had some way to get accurate details. The main thing that gives me hope is that it happened in Kuwait but again , they didnt have this many investors.....not even close. The ones they did have though, cleaned up son !!!!

I agree.....it could be the case but you still have the problem Catmandu is talking about. I mean that is a valid issue I would assume. When they came up with this plan back in the 90's, they never anticipated the internet and the viral Dinar sales.....that is a problem now which could be holding this up. And now it may not even be possible without doing a LOP. Im just throwing out scenarios for discussion.

Its hard to argue with that .... I mean honestly, Im not taking anyones side but that is hard to argue against. There is only so much cash and there are so many people now invested in the Dinar that the cash it would take to cover it all would be mind boggling. Im not feeling good about the RV before the RD.....I wish yall could give me some info that would make me feel better about it. Either way, Im riding out the storm and see where it takes me. At least it adds a little excitement to my life.

Yeah you are right.....I overreacted but I never thought of the LOP this way so it hit me hard when I think their truly could and pretty likely its going to LOP. It is what it is I guess. Im just glad I didnt spend a ton of money that I didnt have on it like many people Ive heard has.

JW I hope you are right. Can you link me to the article from the CBI that states they will revalue first ?? Every article I have read out of Iraq states that they will redenominate first. Catmandus sysnopsis holds water though because there simply is not enough cash to cover the explosion of millionaires. I do realize that we wouldnt need that much cash right off the bat because they would use credits in a computer from the treasury but it still is hard to think about when you look at Catmandus figures which are a logical scenario. Im hope noone thinks Im trying to be a downer, Im just trying to make sense of all of this and really get the truth. What gives me hope is I read the history on Kuwait and even though their situation was different, they revalued their money over night and the people that were invested in it did make millions. I honestly did look at this like a lottery because that is the way it was proposed to me and everyone I know so although, I am thankful and I never invested more than Id miss, I did have visions of grandeur for a year now and its a hard pill to swallow knowing it is likely it will not happen. Im just stating the truth. Im happy that I wont lose and will make a little profit but I could have invested in everyday stocks and not had the mental rollercoaster ride had I known this was the more than likely scenario. Any other information that will debunk this whole thing ???

It seems to me that this was the obvious scenario that should have been put out there all along BUT everyone Ive come into contact with that has anything to do with this investment has been living in a fantasy world that we all will make millions off of a $ 1200.00 investment. Even on this board right now today, tomorrow, and for months on end people will come here and every other Dinar board in the universe and make people think that someone can invest $ 1200.00 and make millions. Atheist.....why do you want to be negative ??? My investment group are a bunch of people in my town that invested in the Dinar....we arent financial advisors my friend. Im asking for a simple explanation....thats all...why the negativity ??

JWJW11.....I dont see how you cant say its not a LOP if they adjust prices down after the redenomination. It would make the value of a 25000 dinar note stay the same as a 25 Dinar note but when we go to cash in we would make a minimal amount after the revaluation. Explain your point that there will be no LOP please.

So you are saying that the dream of making millions isnt going to happen ?? From my research I found that anyone that was invested in the Kuwaiti Dinar back when it revalued made millions but its not possible on this investment because of the RD (LOP) ?? Im not asking anyone to believe it but when I saw that email I couldnt recall anyone ever putting that scenario out there. I went back last night and watched the videos that came out in the last week or so and the interviews of the Iraqi people caught my attention. They are very weary of this change and are scared of what it may do to the market and it got me thinking that if they started changing the price of goods , it would create dissention. But if you think about it, if they redenominate, the prices have to change with it wouldnt they ?? If the prices change with the redenomination then I dont see how we arent screwed on the instant millionaire dream. Dont bash me, just give some reasonable thoughts on this scenario. I have no clue if it is a real scenario.....I have no clue if that guy in Iraq has a clue what the heck he is talking about.....I just want someone to debunk this so I can feel better about it.

I am happy to make any money on it as well but you know how it is, you get caught up in the dream of being able to have life changing money so its tough to deal with the thought of it not happening after this year long rollercoaster ride. Have you heard of this explanation of the LOP before ???

I spoke with a friend of mine last night and he worked in Iraq doing construction for years and made some very good contacts. He emailed one of his friends over there and showed me the email. This guy is a PHD in finance in Iraq. The email stated this There is going to be a LOP that only affects the investors not the Iraqi people !!!!!! This Guy told him the currency will be redenominated by removing the 3 zeros and a 25000 dinar will now be worth 25 dinar (nothing new we havent seen). Like the Iraqi articles have said the value of the dinar will remain the same at. 0008 cents U.S. Here's the kicker that blew me away.....prices of goods and in the market will adjust with the RD......a shirt that costs 25000 dinar now will cost 25 dinar (the new denomination). Therefore the iraqi value stays the same in the market. This means 1,000,000 dinar will actually be redenominated to 1,000 dinar. But the value remains the same because prices are adjusted with the redenomination. At this point, the revaluation occurs at 3. 68 or whatever and we make 3x our investment which makes us about 3680 dollars U.S. per million that we own. That is the way it was explained to me last night. The key to the LOP not hurting the Iraqi people is the market adjusting prices with the redenomination. But we get hammered on the LOP. More and more people are coming on the boards stating that yes we will make money but millions on 1,000,000 Dinar "NOT A CHANCE" is the quote I keep seeing. Lets hope this is wrong but I saw the email and this guy is in Iraq and is a successful businessman. He did say that he knows several money people in Iraq and that they are wealthy and they are dumping tons of money in Dinar because they full on believe it will be big like we expect and hope with a huge return. Basically it was explained to me that the Iraqi people will experience no LOP but we will. Lets hope this is not true but reading all of the articles that have come out lately from Iraq.....it makes total sense. I hope some of you can totally debunk this to me so I can stop sweating profusely and move on with my day. I have been in a state of depression since I saw this email last night. It is 1000% real from Jo Bonners office. I am sitting here at my computer in ole country ass Mobile Alabama and my father sent that email to our congressmans office and got that response with the pdf attached. That pdf that I posted is the EXACT pdf that I downloaded off of my email. I will be glad to forward anyone the actual emails and you can trace it or IP route lookup the entire thing if you wish. This is a real document and my take on it is not negative.....in fact I believe it is a good thing. I think everyone has come to a rational conclusion that they arent going to just RV with some crazy rate. My take is this document means they will redenominate the money and it will stay the same value.....ok we dont lose, we dont gain BUT THEN the RV will come in a small rate and go up from there and the people that keep some in for the long haul will end up making the big bucks over time and others will cash out at whatever it is. Now I just need to know if that is a correct logical explanation ????

See the packet seems simple but when you really try to wrap your brain around what it says then I get totally confused. My father has been corresponding back and forth with our congressman JO BONNER in Alabama. He has been asking direct questions and asked them to correspond with the US Treasury with questions concerning our investment in the Dinar. Well, we have gotten a few responses back but nothing of any direct substance. WELL....Today we received a DETAILED response from his office. I am going to upload the exact document they sent and post the email conversations. To us it looks as if we will now have a 1.17 Dinar to the Dollar BUT the document explains that the value of the dinar will be the same as it is now. Oh I didnt mean to make it sound like I was mad or anything. I just think we should, as many people on here have said, take the rumors with a grain of salt. I read the rumors everyday and for the most part enjoy the entertainment but I have to admit some of the rumors are very convincing and very well thought out so it has gotten to me emotionally several times. I dont think anyone in here will not say the same. So yes, this is the rumor section and I believe there is a need for rumors.....I just think we collectively should try to keep the rumors as what they are....RUMORS. We dont do that as a whole....we hang our hats on the rumors sometimes and it, honestly, creates tremendous stress in some of our lives. Regarding Malikis speech......I was merely using that rumor as a point......I didnt know exactly all of the details of the speech besides researching to try to find a link to something that mentioned it. But honestly, until I see a link of the speech or dialogue of the speech, I am treating it as fiction or rumor. Again, let me reiterate, I am all for a rumor section and I wholeheartedly believe rumors are needed because we all know the cliche "When there is so much smoke, there is bound to be some flame" therefore, rumors are needed to find a little fact some where in the smoke. It is just my intention to really try to keep the rumors from stressing me out. The emotional ups and downs of this investment can take a toll after a while. I have seen people state that they are selling their Dinar because the emotional stress has gotten the best of them. Why would you sell your Dinar ?? The investment is so low that even if it does not happen I would not sell my Dinar because there is always a chance it will happen......BUT these rumors have gotten to some people so much that they actually want to completely pull out of the investment and give up that chance of total financial freedom and thats why I say we need to STOP THE MADNESS and work as a group to keep the rumor rollercoaster in check :-)

Everyone is going crazy about the newest rumor that Maliki made a speech stating that the RV is going to occur at the post collapse rate. Please use common sense when you see these rumors. First of all, if Maliki made such a speech it would be EVERYWHERE !!! Every news source from here to China would have it on their FRONT page. Well , I assure you it is not out there. Here is an Iraqi news website and there is NOTHING about a speech. Iraqi News Site . I for one am completely and utterly sick and tired of the emotional roller-coaster that goes along with this investment. I am looking for NOTHING but FACTS from here on out. Here is the way I look at it....Adam Montana SEEMS to be one of the most legitimate of all of the "Gurus" and he is sending out an email for FREE when the Iraqi Dinar RV's.....I dont have an email from him yet.....noone has an email from Adam yet. When I get that email I am going to party but not until !!! Lets try to stay away from getting caught on this emotional elevator because its turning me BI POLAR !!!! I love the feeling I get when I read the rumors of RV happening....the problem is it feels like a three day whiskey binge hangover the next day when you find out the rumor is bull jive. What I think we should be doing as a group is looking at the facts and not hanging our hat on these people trying to pump the sell of the Dinar with all of these rumors that are not fact based. Based on the FACTS that I have read.....I whole heartedly.....100%.....in my bones....think the RV is happening soon. I just think it is naive to think that we will be able to find out exactly when and you certainly will not know a rate until it is published. If we could all collectively start working on fact finding then that will help our cause but we tend to lean on these rumors because of the fascination with the dream of being instantly wealthy.
