  1. The article states, "among economist, some websites declare employment opportunities available to the United Nations or other international and regional bodies and receive electronically individuals wishing to requests to work with these bodies, have attached international feet to fund the reconstruction of Iraq and promising initiatives in the field of e -procurement , where the contributing organizations in the reconstruction of Iraq by providing e - procurement service for a variety of projects covering multiple sectors such as education, health and construction."

My opinion is this is a very needed and quantum leap forward for Iraq.  I suspect the internet infrastructure for the individual Iraqi will be on the forefront of reconstruction and be a key catalyst for the reconstruction and development of Iraq going forward.  Welcome, Iraq, to the 21st century from out of the Stone Age!

  2. Toward the end of the article is made mention of "here is the responsibility of the three presidencies" but does not mention Abadi, Jabouri, or Masum anywhere in the article by name.  Maliki isn't mentioned either but I can't imagine Maliki won't pass up an opportunity to create chaos and havoc to save his skin and those associated with him.  I am hoping Maliki associates is neutralized very soon so that, "a positive point pushing democracy emerging in Iraq forward" can be realized in the next few days and weeks and onward.

  3. The article states, "invite the members of the House of Representatives of the two parties are different to a standard contract to meet for dialogue and the search for a way out consensual ending of the House and bring him back crisis for the exercise of fundamental constitutional duties and agreement to address the causes of the crisis, noting that we we believe that constructive dialogue between everyone will contribute in overcoming the crisis, and we find it necessary to produce an agreement ending all legal problems that accompanied the Council 's previous sessions and to move towards the resumption of the work of the House of Representatives vote on the dismissal of ministers and appointments, returning the cabinet to meet."

Maliki, what a piece.  He creates this chaos and then steps in to fix the problem(s)?  I suspect, and earnestly hope, the fix to be applied is to permanently disable this extremely bad actor and his cohorts via the "removal of corruption" route al-Abadi has announced.  This looks like a last ditch effort by a very desperate man to save his skin and those associated with him.  May Maliki ever and always fail to save his skin and those associated with him!

Yeah - Georges Boy, here, is a poster child for why one must avoid mind altering drugs at all costs.  Pretty sure his claim is, "The extraterrestrials/aliens/ancient astronauts made me do these mind blowing drugs - AND I AM SO GLAD THEY DID!!!"  Looks like he ignored the pleas to, "Step away from the Kool Aid....  Step away from the Kool Aid...."

  5. Luigi1 - I must say I am really disappointed that you bring this frequently repeated and patently false information here.  Your profile says you have been a member of the DV community since 23 May 2011 so I assume you have seen this type of rumor repeated many times over in the last (nominal) 5 years.  The information like this posted here has proven to be false.  So why even post it?

I didn't see Madam Wu and now I see Basil 4 compliance (#5) in the post.  Is Basil 4 replacing Madam Wu or is Basil 4 something Madam Wu is implementing?

I suspect folks like Bruce will begin posting 1-800-get-duped numbers post event advertising some astronomical exchange rate and subsequent gigantic benefits (hush, hush everybody even though it is broadcasted all over the internet) to scam people of their dinar.  Hey, if they post patently false information to gain credibility with the unknowing and unsuspecting pre event, what is going to stop folks like this from scamming, or attempting to scam, others post event?

I mentioned earlier that I had a family member scammed of a significant sum of money in a similar venture in the late 90s so I know there are scammers out there in this type of venture.  Caveat Emptor (buyer beware) everybody!

:bs:  this post is - EVERYBODY RUN!!!

  6. Not sure I can support the rumors here.

    Is it Shread or Shred?

Although the security and political sectors in Iraq have experienced turmoil, ISIS is becoming a non issue with al-Baghdadi withdrawing from Iraq.  The current political framework is still in place and is functioning on a base level that will likely improve dramatically in the short term.  Keywords = Ali al-Allaq?  Ali al-Allaq is a CBI Governor proxy installed by al-Maliki that will likely be replaced after the wave of cabinet techocrats is installed, Iraqi court system corrupt characters removed, and Maliki is on a short rope.  I suspect Dr. Shabibi will be announced as the CBI Governor and the final elements of the IQD reinstatement/revaluation will occur shortly thereafter.  So the delete the zeros schedule from Keywords is bogus unless Keywords is not replaced.

I call this :bs:  being thrown into the fan.  Everybody run and take cover - or get covered.

  7. The second to the last article states, "Khandan - decided Kurdish blocs in the Iraqi parliament not to return to Baghdad until the clarity of the political scene in Iraq."

The last article states, " the Jubouri will go next Saturday to the Kurdistan region to meet with Prime Massoud Barzani, and give assurances, after the events witnessed by the parliament recently; for the parliament session , inclusive of all members holding."

I can't help but wonder what Jubouri is going to clarify with Barzani so that the Kurds participate fully in the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary sessions.  Maybe Jubouri says to Barzani, "Hey dude, we have this sweetheart deal going with the international community (IMF, WB, US, UN, Coalition Forces, etc.) to get things done and in place so we get al kinds of money to rebuild something better than we ever had before.  Yep, HCL and provisions - no problem - let's get that voted on and in place.  Oil is going up and Kurdistan and all the other provinces will get their cut.  al-Baghdadi is soon to be history from Iraq, so no more ISIS.  The Italians are getting the Mosul dam taken care of.  Acquisition of stolen or pilfered funds and properties is underway with the support of the international community so the CBI reserves will burgeon.  The natives are getting restless with all the stalling and political in-fighting.  Corruption needs to and can be taken care of to satisfy the peoples (well, OK, Barzani is likely a fox in the hen house and may be one of the key corrupt folks).  I know we all like to fight about nothing and never accomplish anything but things have and are changing.  So what's your problem, dude?  Just have all the Kurds show up and participate in all the upcoming parliamentary sessions.  It's BINGO time - or else, really."

    Just thinking out loud.

  8. This statement from the first article seems to sum it all up,"He noted that" the current problem is a political problem primarily , and must be resolved in accordance with the constitutional foundations of a sound, democratic and not to resort to violence, as the protests and despite what the accompanying cons, but Iraq has made quantum leap in the interaction between the security forces and citizens, and what it takes to emphasize today is that the political and economic comprehensive reforms that we launched in stages since we received the prime minister stands in the forefront of respect for the law and stop the excess and waste of public money and achieve justice and equality of opportunity and the fight against corruption, and those who want reform to respect the law and the maintenance of public money and the strengthening of state institutions to carry out their duties and to enable of accounting corruption and the corrupt.""

That was a mouthful.  Abadi's actions and history does seem to show he really believes this and is trying his utmost to implement.  Although some mention has been in the news, the corruption piece does seem to have taken traction - yet.  Maybe toward the end of this month we can see where Abadi is going with this.  Maliki has made headlines as being on the top of the list of corruption so maybe an indicator of something very positive to remove Maliki from any sort of disruptive action.

I have always felt that Najib was a shill for Malarkey Synopsis...you may be right....however my hope is that Abadi will stand firm and oil and gas will trigger the right response....

One scenario I have been pondering is, at a certain (trigger) point, the flood gate of news will open on the most corrupt and targeted politicians/family members/ associates/etc. with their crimes and how they have been affiliated. So Maliki, Najib, and others will be left with no defense and no escape.  The oil and gas (positive) may be a trigger but a known or unknown (yet to be seen) negative may inseparably unite a substantial portion of the Iraqi populous (crossing all - or mostly all - the sectarian, political, and religious affiliations) so the populous will clamor for justice and righting of the wrongs (compensation).  I suspect Abadi, Jabouri, and Masum will then graciously oblige with a generally compliant cabinet and parliament.  Talk about National Reconciliation and solidarity!  Win/Win for everybody - including us!

    Just thinking out loud.

  10. This article is very good news.  Initial steps to actually getting the "movable and immovable" property (funds) back into Iraq's direct possession and control as well as prosecuting the offenders.  I suspect the reclaimation of funds (and property) will be more in the news, soon, as time goes on - especially with ISIS being eradicated from Iraq soon and the cabinet/GOI/reforms likely resolved in the short term.  The recovered funds should really boost the CBI USD reserves.  Good for us, too!

  11. The article states, "She added that " the political situation experienced by the country , which does not help for the success of the project," noting that " the lack of political and security stability in the country postponed the project to delete the zeros.""

Looks like the CBI intended to implement the project to delete the zeros (not sure when exactly) but delayed because of the political and security issues Iraq is facing.  I can't help but wonder if Maliki and associates are using the ISIS issue(s) and instigating the cabinet replacement/parliament upheavals to derail the whole project to delete the zeros so they can further line their pockets with absconded CBI funds and, more importantly, avoid broadcasting of and prosecution for their crimes.

In my opinion, the softest area now is implementing the cabinet technocrats and getting the GOI back on track so the reforms can be voted on/approved and then implemented.  I think next week through the end of May (2016) will be really telling for how successful the cabinet changes and reform approval/implementation will be.  All told, I suspect the strong encouragement/incentives by world bodies (IMF, WB, US, UN, Coalitions Forces, etc.) to get these things in place will accelerate their successful completion.

With al-Baghdadi giving the order to withdraw ISIS from Iraq and the anticipated Federal Court reforms implemented, I suspect Maliki will then be left to hang (literally).  I also suspect Maliki's atrocities will be broadcasted prolifically to the masses and a cry for swift justice by the masses will potentially be met through the reformed Federal Court.  A possible alternate is to extradite Maliki to the ICC for prosecution.  Either way, I suspect Maliki (and associates) days are numbered and Iraq will experience political and security stability (with ISIS removed from Iraq).  If I understand correctly, no politician can leave Iraq now and serving indictments/taking into custody should be fairly easy.

This could drag on forever.  I think, however, the 2017 schedule for implementing the deletion of the zeros project mentioned in the article could be significantly accelerated if ISIS is fully expelled from Iraq and the cabinet change/GOI improved performance/reforms approval/implementation is in place.  The external money can then flow freely into Iraq for rebuilding Iraq.  With the necessary goods Iraq needs and the need to export things other than oil, I suspect WTO approval will be in the news and, of course, Iraq will need an internationally traded currency (bingo for us).

  12. al-Abadi and al-Jabouri had given very patriotic speeches earlier during the recent political turmoil and I was wondering when Masum would do the same.  Although milder in tone compared to al-Abadi and al-Jabouri, this does show a commitment on Masum's part to strive for the betterment of Iraq and the Iraqi people.

Hopefully the three Musketeers/Amigos (al-Abadi, al-Jabouri, and Masum) will be an insurmountable force to drive the cabinet technocrat installation, GOI changes, removal of corrupt politicians and civil servants, and reforms completion/implementation soon.

Pretty sure this will make everybody (well, except for the corrupt folks like Maliki) happy.  I know I will be.

  14. You may want to view this link describing what happened.

I don't recall Mountain Goat bashing any guru in particular.  Mountain Goat did heavily bash the gurus (generally with no one I recall in particular) who stated some IQD RV related event had occurred.  Mountain Goat also unreservedly shamed those who believed the IQD RV already happened gurus.

Apparently, Mountain Goat did relay some IQD RV event happened a couple or few years ago and was suspected of lying.  I did not see that since I have been reading Mountain Goat for the last 1 1/2 to 2 years.  I question Mountain Goat's statement about a CBI contact, though.

I do like the news articles Mountain Goat presents and provides a perspective on necessary conditions yet to be satisfied and potential windows for a potential IQD RV.  I like that since it is different than a lot of other gurus.  There are some good gurus out there (I'm not sure who they are) but I typically stick to the news articles many fine folks post here.

If nothing else, Mountain Goats general bashing of the IQD RVed already gurus and shaming the folks that believed them is entertainment I (well, OK) enjoy reading.  The news articles Mountain Goat presents are generally news worthy.

  15. For nominally 100,000,000 (100 million) USD sold daily through the CBI auctions at nominally (round number) 1,000 IQD per USD, that would be nominally 100,000,000,000 (100 billion) IQD taken out of circulation (or is the IQD put back in circulation somewhere else?) every CBI currency auction day.  If there were a maximum nominally 40,000,000,000,000 (40 trillion) IQD of the current denominations in circulation, then it would take nominally 400 auction days to pull back in all the IQD out there of the current denominations.  There are probably nominally 200 auction days per year (5 times per week every week of the year except for holidays) and would take nominally 2 years to pull back in all the current denominations.

In my opinion, the longer the CBI auctions are conducted selling USD, the less current large denomination IQD there is in circulation provided the current large denomination IQD is not being put back into circulation somewhere else and remains in control of the CBI.

Also in my opinion, at some point the USD could not be sold any longer at the CBI since there are no current large denomination IQD to buy back.  At that point, it would seem, the currency auctions would have to stop and the IQD revalue.

    Just my :twocents:
