    great post..thanks..i listened intently to this vid ,,,now what i got was 1.he was very taken back by the questions. 2.He clearly DID NOT rebuttal any of the suggestion/questions of a revalue ! That is HUGE ! so by default he was agreeing that it WILL RV !!!..3. he said clearly that is was tied to inflation,which now is going THRU THE ROOF because of the USD..and The Dinar is pegged to the USD...so as our USD is collapsing in value..SO IS THEIRS !!..So..my deduction is that we are now at the very doorstop of a huge change in value..Like by July 1st..But don't be surprised if it comes out at 1/2 to 1 penny on the USD...

    Great post..thanks..I agree with your basic idea...you are correct..it's worth a whole lot more than the Vietnamese dong.(is this currency trade-able ? )...I feel they are going to be smart and RV at about a penny on the dollar..this is almost 12 times increase !!..thats a big step..That will keep pressure on the GOI to keep developing the country so it can have further increases down the line..This would give the citizens almost 12 times their purchasing power..wow..how would you like that with the USD ?..This is good business sense..You see the big players in this game want to make sure that the Black gold flows !! Remember that is what this is really all about....and handing them a winning lotto ticket is not smart right now..at least just not yet..??? get it???

    Just to let you know ,a while back i posted my prediction that the RV would happen when gold/silver go parabolic,I guessed that would be in Nov of this year..well,I think I was off a bit,,cuz it is NOW going parabolic ! Surprise !..inflation is exploding and i now predict that the RV will happen by July 1st...If not,, the US Dollar is going to accelerate towards a complete collapse..(hope not )....wow what a time to be living..

    I feel that Shabibi did not denounce an RV,, is what's most important.By default he acknowledged that an RV is imminent...Now.,,The IQD is pegged to the dollar ..that tells me that when the dollar breaks down to the point of hyper-inflation so will the Iraq country,,and we may be only weeks or months away from this...or maybe November..then the trigger will be pulled...

    No no no......a rate less then one to one is the ONLY logical answer when you look at the facts......they CANT rv to anything near a dollar with the amount they have in circulation....its impossible.......this isent about getting US tax dollars to fill in holes....this is mainly about Iraq....we are just a side affect.....and no one is going to be yelling and screaming about the US setting Iraq back up either....the value of the dinar is not going to start an uproar of countries getting mad at the US because they start out low and gradually rise in value....thats usually how these things work....nothing out of the norm with that scenerio.....and who told you that Kuwait came to the UN and IMF and said they wanted Iraq to start out where their currency is?? Did the riddler get you hooked with that nonsense???

    Well put Keep...I feel this is about a sound business plan...Maliki even said so last Feb. He said " the dinar has all the reasons to grow stronger "..

    I think it will come out at somewhere between 1 cent and .10 cents on the USD this is 12 to a 100 times !!..that would be huge..and a great step toward further appreciation to who knows where..Hey I would be ticked pink at a 1 cent RV..that's a 100 bagger..this would give massive support to the people and gov.

    One of the frequent "thoughts" being posted in this thread seems to be the validity of deadlines, and what MUST be.

    And there are two ends to that tail.

    First what makes us think there is any requirement for the RV, made by anyone, Iraq or any of the alphabet soup organizations, that must be met before the RV can happen? Or the RV MUST happen before said organization will allow membership, or forgive debts, or in any way make nicey-nice with Iraq. I think for the most part it is all stuff that is posited by someone who knows just enough to be dangerous ... and is taking for granted certain things, deadlines and MUST do, for example, that just do not exist.

    they may be common sense but since when has common sense entered into any of this? But we believe them because we WANT to, we NEED to. It means that if there is some reason other than the whim of some Iraqi politician that is controling the date, or rate, then it must, it will, it absolutely cannot fail to happen. That would be a happy thing. Guaranteed Rv if only certain rules of deadlines are met.

    Now for the other side of this tail. If indeed the RV is not a valid assumption in regards to what others feel must happen, let us assume also therefor that Iraq, and Iraq alone, that being the self serving, inexperienced and badly counselled politicians of the GOI, are the only ones responsible for the RV. Why do we believe that anything they say they will do, any accomplishment they vow to achieve, any step they say is next, whether it be a law, or a ruling, or just someone's whim ... why do we believe it will be so? We have no proof, absolutley no proof, that any of these people will do what they say they will. Even Allawi, who I thought of as the best hope, the most honest of the bunch, if that word can apply to any of them, has become one of those who cries wolf at every turn. He is leaving to live in Britain, but then he is back and will take on a special job made just for him but then he doesn't get the cooperation he wants so he threatens to leave the GOI altogether but then decides to stay but not in the position they want him in but the threat is still there that he will up and leave. and so on and so on and ... you get the idea. So, why do we keep falling for the GOI following any of their scheduled progress or meeting any of their own deadlines? Because we WANT to. We NEED to.

    A lot of investments are occasions of making a decision to invest, putting money into the investment either in a lump sum or payroll deposit or whatever, and then walking away. Few investment actually give us, the investor, the opportunity to see, or think we see, what is happening at ground zero. How many other investments can be followed as closely as this one? Of course the information isn't always right but not because it starts out wrong. Along the way the Iraqi politicians back off or change their little timy minds (sorry, couldn't resist), or give in to some pressure internal or external, and even their own timelines go kaflooey and of course deadlines are not met. But this is the kind of investment we can watch, and get more involved in, even it if is only with words. And we do get involved, with words, and lots of them. Why? Because we WANT to, we NEED to.

    This is an investment that is so close, a very personal thing, much moreso than investing in a green fund or a handful of penny stocks or the kind of blue chips you buy, stick in the safe deposit box and forget about. This is a daily progress, or supposed to be anywaya, sort of investment. Most of us are not big time experienced investors. We are learning at one heck of a rate through this one though. Why? Because we WANT to, we NEED to.

    So keep up the discussions. Real discussions. Points to ponder, experiences to share, and hope to keep us all relatively sane. There are no guarantees in life, and no guarantees in this investment. But there is hope, and challenge, and we WANT that, because we NEED that.

    Haha..thanks guys..yesterday saw Huge volume again due to internal transfer in North Bank..but today had strong volume purely on investor trading...that's good..My broker says that he has more international then ever before and they are geting more and more daily..I like that..a couple years from now we will gladly sell them our shares at multiples of 20-50 what we paid..haha..enjoy..

    wait till the herd shows up..haha

    Hey I considering starting a daily post on the ISX,I asked my broker if he can get me info on the overall market,besides their Index .So we'll see..

    I'ts hard getting anything out of the market..

    Hi OneDinar,thanks for the insights...Yesterday Volume was mostly because of an internal trade of 10 billion shares of North bank...there was 450 mil. bought at market price 2.97...now get this..My broker said he had orders in for 300 million shares at 10% over the bid price and could not fill them !! Wow..crazy people want this stock..now today it came in with another 10% gain. at 3.20....so i'm in the money..haha..

    Think we are on the verge of take overs and mergers that will blow these bank stocks to the moon..I hope..especially if savey International money finally figures outthat this is the most under valued game on the planet

    I bought 100 million myself the last two days at 2.97..

    Blessings..great way to park your dinars while we wait for the big one.. ;)
