WB and BMW, Correct me if I am wrong here, My summation is that Iraq is not operating as a Fiat currency but instead is actually pegged to the 20 billion dollars they have in reserve. For a currency to not move at all in 2 years, ok it has fluctuated in the past couple of weeks from 1170 to 1000 on some trades outside of the CBI sale record, It absolutely has to be pegged to a reserve. Ratatap, I humbly thank you for your kind words. Now let's discuss: 1. I agree our government does not disclose anything close to the truth on many occasions. However, you cannot lie to the world economy because they know the truth! Hence the USD is teetering at near an all time low. 2. We do know for a fact, I am going to regret making that statement, that there are 1.3 trillion dollars in circulation (M1) for the USA. We have not printed lower denominations that have not been released as Iraq has. 3. I think the RV is already paid for: A. The current valuation of oil, gas and developmental contracts is not added to the currency valuation. B. The demand for the Dinar is untraceable. No seller will divulge the amount they have sold. No Governments that hold Dinar have disclosed said transactions. Gold reserves, which Iraq has pantheons of have not been added to the valuation. Come on gold alone has risen almost $1000.00 an ounce since 2003 and Iraq has untold amounts in reserve unlike the gool ole USA! C. The policy making and decision process of Iraq is a total enigma compared to the US. At least we KNOW they are lying! LOL Now to point TWO of your question: I believe the Dinar can hold a $3.00+ RV. I personally don't believe there are 25 trillion Dinar in circulation as I believe they are including the printed and uncirculated denominations in this query. I also believe they will RV at or below 1 USD. Personally I have chosen the .86 rate. My reasoning behind this is that Iraq wants to pay off the RV, out of country, with funds that would have been used to pay the debts they incurred that have been forgiven, ie Paris Group, USA, China etc. To them this is money in the bank. They will also use the funds garnered from the actual purchase of Dinar the last 7 years. Again this is an unknown amount as it is not disclosed. As money out of country is gathered and destroyed I TRULY BELIEVE we will find Iraq has reduced their float of dinar to around 25-30 billion also adding weight to the valuation. The sneaky thing is this........ In my own little insignificant personal opinion this is what will happen. The RV will hit at around .86. There will be a time period for the exchange or cash out. Once the exchange/cash out is finalized Iraq will announce they have reduced their float to 25-30 billion and simultaneously announce another rate close to the Kuwaiti rate. This is justifiable on all accounts. Iraq honors the current holders, who they know are out to make a buck, and uses said holders to vault their currency to one of the most expensive in the world. I have read several articles praising the head of the MOF for instituting policies and practices that have kept the Dinar stable for two years. This is a crock of bull and nothing but a lie. Iraq has only 20 billion USD as their (M1). For those not familiar with the term (M1) this is the amount of currency that is exchangeable for trade, investment, banking and other daily uses. Iraq has been at this 20 billion dollar level for the last 7 years. The rise of the Dinar from 3500 to 1170 was nothing but an orchestration by the IMF, MOF, UN and whomever else is making the decisions. If you are not aware 25 trillion is the supposed amount of Dinar in the market for the last several years. Again I argue that Iraq can and should have a much larger float backing it's currency than a measly 20 bilion dollars! This blows away the theory that the currency has remained stable!! How can it be unstable when obviously the market makers are keeping it pegged to the 20 billion backing it up!!! This defies economics 101!! If Iraq only reduces the amount of Dinarby half with no revaluation we double our money. If they exchange the currency, in country, and those outside of Iraq cash out while reducing the (M1) simultaneously we could very well see the illusive 3.00+ rate. The question I am seeking to find the answer for is this: With the problem we have in translation and the shadowy answers we get it has been impossible to find factual evidence that Iraq is not including the lower denominations, that are not in circulation, in their 25 trillion balance. Can everyone understand that Iraq had a new currency produced and issued in 2003? Are you telling me they went to the expense of having an entire countries currency denominated and printed and did not go ahead and print the smaller denominations at the same time? Any business owner understands the benefit of having your printing done at 1 time to lower costs even though you may not use all of it imediately. ie. In my research of the Dinar I have done my best to equate it to comparable currencies in the region. This gives me, personally, a better feel of what to expect from my investment and a rational outlook on the coming RV. There are some in this realm that have thrown out numbers from .10 all the way to 10.00 plus USD. They all have what appears to be some realistic backing to their valuation. I am going to, in my own personal opinion, attempt to give you some rational and realistic revaluation numbers to think about. First and foremost, Iraq went from a reasonable amount of exchangeable currency, pre-invasion, of around 25 billion Dinar in circulation. After the US attack and invasion Iraq sent into a tailspin economically. With the release of the new DeLarue Dinar Iraq, under chapter 7 and other sanctions, found themselves at an economic impasse. What we have no way of knowing, or ever finding out, is the current number given of 25 trillion Dinar in existence, whether or not this includes the actual (M1), currency in distribution, or whether or not the smaller denominations are included, but withheld from the public. I know this seems mentally confusing but hold on for a minute and let me explain. If Iraq, with the UN and IMF, had DeLarue print a total of 25 trillion in Dinar then that would give us a realistic (M1) number to deal with. If on the other hand Iraq, the UN and IMF, had a total of 25 trillion of large denomination bills printed, with the smaller denominations on hold, then we have unlimited expectations as to the RV. I personally have a hard time believing Iraq, the UN and IMF had DeLarue print a total of over 50 trillion in script! Surrounding countries have in the neighborhood of 25 billion scripts of exchange on the market. Kuwait has 25,182,500,000.00 Dinar on the market. Iraq has 25,000,000,000,000.00. This has a quantative effect on the actual market and exchange value of the currency. Let me explain: Kuwait has approximately 88 billion dollars in (M1). This is actual money converted to the USD in cash value exchanged and traded daily. Iraq has only 20 billion in (M1) cash traded and exchanged on a daily basis. Iraq has an exponentially greater amount of oil reserves and natural resources than Kuwait! Kuwait trades it's currency at an approximate measure of 50% of its 2009 GDP which was 167.9 billion USD. Iraqi’s GDP is unknown,as it is under sanctions, but we do know they move 1.92 million barrels of oil daily which at $50.00 a barrel, a conservative number equates to 34,560,000,000.00 a year. This gives Iraq a reasonable exchange rate of that close to Kuwait if the amount of Dinar is reduced! This brings us to the great dilemma; Does Iraq truly have 25 trillion Dinar in circulation (M1) or does this include the unreleased lower denominations? Did DeLarue print 25 trillion in large denomination bills only? Did DeLarue print 25 trillion in total script for the nation of Iraq and only 15 trillion or so have been released? Everything surrounding Iraq has been shrouded in lost translations and secrecy. Each and every day we strive to understand the press releases and information coming from this nation. In order to have a true RV we must know the amount of money in circulation (M1) in order to have a grasp of its true valuation! Iraq is a resource wealthy nation that can easily have a currency trading at a $2.00 to $3.00 USD exchange rate. This can only occur however if the amount of Dinar on the international market equals 25 billion or less. We, in the know, have heard that the lower denominations are being possibly brought into circulation. If this is true, and the upper denominations are being removed, this would bring about a realistic RV in the neighborhood of above $3.00 USD!!! Being the conservative investor I am I still think the RV will come in around .86. My reasoning on this is that there will be a raising of the rate over a period of months to the realistic valuation. Iraq, the UN and IMF, as well as the world bankers and market makers know that the vast majority of Dinar holders will exchange at the lowest denomination. This will allow for growth and a limited disbursement at the initial RV rate. I post this knowing it will be picked apart by those with degrees in economics and those with supposed inside information. I personally do not have a degree in economics or banking but I have operated for the last 25 years as an entrepreneur and have been blessed to run several multi million dollar companies and organizations. This is common sense and market rationality in my personal opinion. The news is good!! There is substantial reason to believe we shall see an RV between .86 and 3.00 soon and very soon!! Does anyone realize that currently Iraq has only 20 billion dollars on the market in the Dinar? 25 trillion at a value of 0.0008 equates to 20,000,000,000,000.00. How can a country with over 7 trillion dollars of proven oil reserve only have a market value of 20 billion dollars for their currency?This is a Rhetorical question that we know the answer to. If Iraq lowers the float of Dinar from 25 trillion to 25 billion, same as Kuwait and same number in circulation prior to the 2003 redomination, our current Dinar would be worth .80 each or $800,000.00 for each million Dinar you hold! Kuwait has 25 billion of their Dinar on the market for a valuation of 88,750,000,000.00 or 88.75 billion. 25 billion multiplied by 3.55 USD exchange rate. a. The 25 billion is from the September Kuwait financial report. There are actually 25,182,500,000 Dinar in circulation. If Iraq simply uses the Kuwait valuation of 88 billion dollars to support the Iraqi Dinar it would move the value currently to .00355 USD. This may not seem like much but it means every million Dinar you hold are now worth 3,550.00. That means the current IDQ is undervalued by 2,650.00 per million. Now this gets exciting. If Iraq decides to lower the amount of Dinar on the market from 25 trillion by half to 12.5 trillion, which would be done by a simple exchange of the higher denomination notes, the one's with the 3 zeroes, for smaller denominations it would increase the value of the Dinar to .00739 which would make each million Dinar you hold worth 7,395.83 Kuwait has only 102 billion barrels of oil compared to Iraq's 145 billion barrels. This is not counting the oil reserves in Kurdistan that have not been released. Kuwait has future earnings at $50.00 a barrel (recent low not likely to be seen again) of 5.1 trillion Iraq has future earnings at $50.00 a barrell of 7.25 trillion Kuwait has the world's fifth largest oil reserves and petroleum products now account for nearly 95% of export revenues, and 80% of government income. Kuwait is the eleventh richest country in the world per capita. If instead of wasting the income it is invested, Iraq will become wealthy. Estimated productive capital assets in the US are $60,000 per capita and $5,000 for the entire world. If Iraq invests only 1/4 of its oil revenue for the next 20 years, it will match current US productive assets per capita. The total value of Iraq potential oil reserves at an average profit of $75 per barrel over next 100 years would be 360 billion x $75 = $27 trillion or $900,000 per capita, making every Iraqi a millionaire. These calculations do not include natural gas revenue, lately about equal to oil revenue for producing fields. Also, most of Iraq has not been explored for gas or oil. With the way everything in Iraq operates it may be possible to get the rate but hold it until US security forces are in place for protection. I just think with all the research I have found that the RV has to come down before the end of the year.

JC, very good response. My deduction on the .86 is due to my choosing the lowest amount I feel can be justified. I wholeheartedly agree it can be more, but will it? I would rather call it low and be proven wrong than go high and miss my expectations. God bless you as well and go RV!!

Rumors seirling about a rate change on Monday. There is a slight possibility there is something to this. I have been calling for the RV on Monday Nov. 1st for some time now as the UN Operational Rate released a few weeks ago that the Nov. 1st rate change would be the final change of the year even though they originally had rate changes scheduled for November and December. Here is where it gets even more interesting. The rate change has to be submitted today., the 28th, but it is not effective until Monday the 1st. Add to this that Scooter has unveiled for us that we are sending 20,000 troops, a combat brigade, to Iraq for a special mission. Seeker, another poster in the know, has said the troops are in the US but shipping out. It is speculated that they have been tasked for extra security at the banks for the rate exchange to stop violence or attacks. It makes sense that the rate will not be released, even if it has been submitted, due to security concerns. Guess we will all know by Monday one way or another. The post on this board that calls for 3.86 on Monday in my opinion is too high. I would love 3.86 but for months I have predicted .86 and will stick by that amount. With the UN cancelling the rest of change dates for the year it has to happen now or we will be pushed into early 2011 at best. If the contracts we have heard about are weighing in the balance then it may just happen!

Guys, Not saying this is factual but....... Did you know that today, the 28th, is the day to submit rates to the UN/IMF for the last rate change of the year? Rates were to be submitted today and they go active on Monday the 1st. I know more than likely this is not true, especially the rate but it does line up with the dates on the UN/IMF website. I will see if I can track id down. I was looking at it two days age for some information and saw the dates listed. This will be the last rate change of 2010. Just Sayin............

Audrey, I believe almost everyone here can identify with the same feeling! Some it is more pressing than to others. My prayers are with you. If this is the last ten days as most rumors and information points to then why don't we all determine to finish with a flourish rather than RV in anger and frustration? It is not how we started but our attitudes as we cross the finish line. The day after the RV everyone will be bouyant and positive, maybe a little drunk and hungover for some as well, but everyone will be estatic except for those hoping for a $12.00 RV!!! I for one have determined that I am going to stay positive and choose to remind myself that when it happens my life will never be the same again!

Without a doubt the past week or so has brought about the greatest frenzy the Dinar has ever seen. Rumors and more rumors abounding each and every day. Something is about to happen!! Many rumors that it will coincide with our own midterm elections. Almost all the information out there is that in the next 10 days we will either have the RV or it will begin. With that thought in mind, could this possibly be the last ten day's of our live's as we now know them? Could this be the last ten days that you put in five dollars of gas instead of filling up? Could this be the last ten days that you bring lunch to work instead of eating out? Could this be the last ten days you actually have to go to work? Could this be the last ten days you have to clip coupons to buy groceries? Could this be the last ten days you have to drive a car you are ashamed of? Could this be the last ten days you dont answer the phone because it may be a bill collector? Could this be the last ten days you sneak your own snacks into the movie theatre?
