THINK - Nope, sorry you're wrong. "Most" of the mods did not leave. Most of us are still here and are supporting Adam in his decisions. There was alot going on behind the scenes that you guys haven't been aware of. Adam is taking the high road, but also has to maintain control of this site. His integrity is above reproach, and he has my respect for his handling of this situation. My hope is that it all smooths out and blows over soon.
DV is NOT broken - we are all here & doing very well. DV will continue, as strong or stronger than before!
That's the spirit. DV is not the only site that is experiencing what I've read here tonight. Maybe there is an overall attack on anyone or any site involved with the dinar? Not sure exactly what the motive might be, but comments made here have also been made on other forums about similar things they are experiencing.

If the meeting that is to be held Iraq on Wed May 11 has not been adequately covered in a Forum Topic, would you please clarify as best you can your interpretation of what happened and what, if anything, it has to do with the RV.

I found your posts interesting smee2. I had read similar before. It is hard for me to visualize the long robes and head coverings and a modern society.... that is until I see photographs of their people standing in front of some magnificent modern building with great architectural qualities. Wish I had the link of one I saw recently.
I didn't get interested in anything overseas until I started following the Iraqi dinar. Then I equated Iraq with the cradle of civilization. Then I got even more interested in TV shows by those who relate Biblical scriptures to today's headline news. Now I find it all quite fascinating and feel honored to be a part of all this. I never figured I'd be living at this age and time in history.

very well said. My husband has spent many a Christmas away from our children and I, including last year (Iraq)
We are very fortunate and blessed that he gets to be home this year. We are so stinkin broke, but the kids and I could care less about that, we have Daddy home this year! Merry Christmas to all and Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!

Sitting here just hoping to get through the next few days, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and then New Years ... this being the first holiday season since my husband died. It is much more difficult than I had thought it would be.
But your post helped. It put some things back into perspective. I am not the only one in the world who is waiting for something to change, needing something good to happen, and having trouble maintaining faith.
Thank you for the post. And I hope Christmas is all you want it to be and your family will always be there for you.

When I opened the link give in the above post I clicked on the movie link and although it says en at the end of the link (which I thought was for English) I could not understand a word Maliki was saying, but immediately my eyes went to the bottom right of the movie screen where there is a picture-type banner at the bottom with a baby's head being held by a hand. That struck me with emotion as I am playing Christmas music and was thinking about Baby Jesus and Iraqi coming back into its own as the original cradle of civilization.
I was about to head to bed when I changed my mind and checked out this site and this is immediately where I was led.
Such a wonderful time to be alive and a part of what I believe to be Biblical history in the making.
Merry Christmas everyone... and anticipate a much more Prosperous and Happy New Year !

I was watching the News and they were interviewing these ladies that volunteer to write back to kids, who write letters to Santa Claus.
As the ladies read the letters, children were not asking for toys, they were asking for clothes, coats and shoes. One little girl wrote, she would fore go here present, so here little sister could have a coat. My beautiful wife and I both teared up.
I too am so thankful for all we have, and hope I can help others when the Dinar hits.

Thanks for sharing. Even if Big Kids (grown-ups) don't always understand the true meaning of Christmas at least the Little Kids do believe that Santa Claus can work wonders and they are willing to ASK for more than just toys.

Well my GUESS is as good or bad as anyones, so I guess Mon. the 20th at 3.86.
Gee I hope you are correct.. That's what I had been hoping for and then got a bit concerned it may be toward the EOY and somewhat lost faith in the over $3.00 rate although before this past week I had said between $3.22 and $3.86. Got to seeing some 0.86 to little over a dollar rates in too many places. Hopefully that was just smoke and mirrors but the comments were based on the Euro rather than the Kuwaiti Dinar plus the fact that the oil is still in the ground and construction resources not yet in place to get it in circulation. Seems I read somewhere that there is still discussion regarding which basket the IQD should go in.
To the couple expecting the little one... congratulations and best wishes for a safe and easy delivery. Kind of like the RV... doesn't matter exactly when it gets here as long as it is sound and healthy and in 2010 for best tax treatment !!
Having children takes planning and money. That should be in place bfore you start. OK, so I didn't do that either but it is 22 years later and we made it. It will be fine even Dinar does not RV. But I can tell you first hand that when they go to college, the RV will help. Most posts tell you that the RV will happen shortly after the government is in place. They said that will be in days
I have no clue why someone get you a minus but I gave you a plus to zero it out. Having the RV, if invested correctly, will help with the college expenses. Use some of the upfront money to find the best asset protection planners you can find.

DINAR Addenum – Same Inside contact who is into trading in NYC now reporting that cashing in may be as early as Saturday at $3.60. To be showing on the worlds screens as they get to them. Kuwait screen is already showing the dinar at the new rate.
There is pressure and urgency to get the shipping going again. Also cautioned that the banking announcement needs to be made to officially shut down the federal reserve.
Announcement can be a notice in the Federal registry with minimal fanfare. This shut down shall be a year long transition into a treasury bank.
Cashing in from all vendors will be processed through the Federal Reserve banks.

I heard that the shutdown started this summer. That they used to be the liason betw the crown and treas. - that now treas has to do its own bidding in london...that its already done...believe what you want...this stuff happens without our knowledge all the time...

Yes, someone please explain why the Federal Reserve System needs to be shut down. Can you explain using different words? Could it possibly have anything to do with moving toward a One World Gov and One World Bank?

To Phoenix and Joe P. Let me know where you start the new thread. I'd like to follow it. I have not read all of this thread but did read the last posts by each of you and think you both have a lot of insight and it would be great to start a new thread with those two posts and continue the discussion, inviting others who watch the Forex boards to chime in. I definitely think there is something to this but I don't know enough about how to read the boards to give reliable feedback. Thanks!

Tricia, I understand your frustration. You are definitely not alone. I do hope this RV happens before Christmas.
I don't know how much you have, but if you don't have a solid plan yet, I'd suggest cashing in only a minimum amount first and then figuring out an asset protection program for the remainder. You might think you don't have enough for asset protection, but that probably is not true. At least find a good attorney to set up a trust for you,
Regarding gold, like some have suggested, they feel gold will take a dip, so I would not get right out of IQD and into gold. Wait for gold to go down before buying. Not sure about silver but last time I talked with someone they felt silver was a better buy than gold if one wants to go into precious metals. Just remember that you don't have to do it all at once... unless we find out there is a time restriction and I don't think that will be the case.
Just take some of your initial cash-in and look for a professional you can trust and leave the remainder in a safe deposit box. Best wishes.

I have been quite happy with Dinar Trade and I trust Ali. My last reserve order I placed with DinarBanker simply because I did it with money order and DB will accept postmarked date rather than the date the actual money order hits their office as DT's policy is. I sent it certified and can tell by tracking number that it did get to DB yesterday but as I yet I have not received a confirmation e-mail. Confirms were always very quick with DT so I will feel much better after I get a confirmation email from DB.
There is no bank close to me from which I could order the dinar. I saw on another thread here that 5/3 is no longer accepting orders from anyone who does not have an account there... which has to have some meaning behind it. Sorry I don't recall which thread or I would post link. I'm sure you can search for it.

5. Here's where it gets foggy. If I don't like the bank rates or spread, I will call Ali's office back and ask if I can raise my cash out rate. Anyone know if this would work?
Ali may let you lock in the extra at a different rate or not lock in the rate at all, you will just have to ask.
As far as security goes, I don't think banks will be any better than Ali.
You can always get another appointment with Ali, he said you can call in and set another appointment. I may do that as well
Are you all saying that if you don't like the initial rate that Ali gives you when you make your initial appointment that your rate is locked in at... that after you check with your local bank and don't get any better offer you will simply just call back and cancel that appointment w/Ali and continue watching the CBI rate spread and then call Ali back to reschedule when the rate is more to your liking?
What if all of Ali's customers played the game like that? Won't hurt to try but in all honesty I have a feeling that if you don't accept the locked in rate first given that you then may to accept the rate on the day that you do reschedule your appt for. But then that is JMO because unless there is a really good reason for having to reschedule that's an additional overhead expense for Ali.

Isn't it cheaper to get a safety deposit box at the bank compared to buying a new fire proof safe???
Depending on how large your fireproof safe is, someone could walk off with it. I agree with Munsch... I would get a regular safe deposit box.
You should have got him back by texting him thanks I'm at the bank now and just traded in my 5K notes too, you rock dude! Should we meet to celebrate?!!!!!!!!! This is crazy! I've never made this big a transaction before! I was so nervous! I even took some out to celebrate, where should we go? HE WOULD HAVE FREAKED!

Well, if rumors I have been hearing are true, this is good. I have heard that the banks will have it several days before it is on the Forex or available to currency traders, so to me this still says we may get our RV this coming week so far as cashing in at a bank so the UST can benefit. Again... just another rumor.
