  1. Yes the RV was passed last year to be put into effect this year, as far as the time span between being internationally recognized and them RV/RI the currency there is no set time that they have to follow....they could make it recognized and then two weeks later come out and RV/RI....I would speculate to say it would happen almost at the same time....but in order for them to RV/RI it will have to be internationally recognized FIRST......otherwise any sort of revalue would only be recognized inside the country which is pointless and will not happen in this regards........as far as the different rates in the budget, they have been playing with these behind the scenes to help determine the REER, you can expect them to revalue at one rate across the board, but with little fluctuations due to the market and then POSSIBLY....i say again POSSIBLY revalue again 6 months down the line to closer to the ceiling rate if sustainable......lastly because of how long they have been implementing these different rates its safe to assume that they have a very good idea by now of what this REER will be, they are very close to dropping this on everyone, the time is coming near so I wouldnt expect THAT to postpone the deadline.....it would probly be other things related to the banking reform that could possibly delay things not them figuring out this REER as they have been working to achieve that since 2004.....hope that helps things a little.....as always....STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS!

I kind of figured that the "international recognition" and RV would be an package deal, but still had it in the back of my head that this is IRAQ, who likes to wait to do things.

    Thanks, compadre.

By the way, I AM thirsty. I believe I'll grab myself a Mountain Dew!!

WWTKS? = What would Terry K say? Just wondering? My rating cant get too much more worst?! I would like a + sign though please anybody? GO RV!

    I gotcha bud!!

Need anything else, besides an RV?

  2. I chose #1, because as we've seen, all of the political blocs are proud bastards. They're not going to want to admit that someone else had to do something for them. I think when it comes down to the line, they will say, "We want to prove to the world that we can handle our business, without someone else doing it for us."

But then again, we are talking about Iraq!! Proud and Hardheaded!!

  3. I kept up with Scooter's chat last night and I have a few questions that may be stupid, but I'd like them cleared up anyway!! The intelligent portion of the chat was pretty much between Scooter and the fella that "keeps them walking funny."

    1) The RV is, by law, supposed to take place this year. Then, the currency will go international. To my understanding, that is when we can "cash in." So, the question on that one is...... What kind of time span between RV and going international is to be expected?

    2) Next, being that they have been playing with different rates in their budget, is it possible to have a floating rate (such as the interior/exterior that some of us have heard about), post RV?

    3) Lastly, the REER is supposed to be the deciding factor for the RV RATE. Is it possible that not finding the acceptable REER could postpone the deadline?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer my retarded questions!!

  4. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that it isn't going to happen tomorrow. I figured everybody has been wrong giving dates that maybe a little reverse psychology will work.

Nice!! I wish everything worked like it did in the 3rd grade, and Iraq declared tomorrow "Official Opposite Day!!" Then Iwouldn't feel so bad about hearing "no Government has been seated," or more especially, "no Revalue at 1IQD=3.86 USD!!"

Way to work it "Coach." I'll join in on your psychology!!

Also, while we're all giving out our hometowns, I'm from Carthage, TX. As I've stated in a few other posts, NO, I AM NOT A COWBOYS FAN. I was born a Steelers fan, and will always bleed black and yellow (and whatever color Troy Palamalu wants me to bleed!!)

  5. Thanks Ron..

I wonder if he is related to BillyDee???

BOBBY Dee is BILLY Dee's brother. BOBBY and BILLY Dee are both sons of BETTY Dee, who is a cousin of BETTY WHITE. I believe anything Betty White says, so I'm going with Possum to pee on his boss's desk tonight!!

I know everyone is wondering where Sonny is, and in fact there is another thread about praising, and not bashing him. The thing is, no one knows EXACTLY what happened in Iraq today. Everything may have been put into motion today, and we will see it soon. Let's all hope!! Sonny, you'll always be on MY good side!!

All the people who want to bash Sonny for sticking his neck out for his intel, in the words of my friend Betty White, "I hope the Gator eats your friends!!" (quote taken from the movie "Lake Placid" All Rights Reserved)

  6. I think USD600 would be a VERY good price for a 500K Dinar note. Primarily because it must be a one-of-a-kind: the largest note issued is on 25K!

On the other hand, of it is a 500 dinar note, then I guess, if it sells for USD600, it is clear proof that there is a fool born every minute!

Read it again. He/She didn't say that it was a 500k note. Not bashing, just trying to help everyone save face.

  7. What the heck is up with Possum? He's always been out there, but did someone hack his account? So many crazy, senseless posts.

I think momma done got a hold of his password, and is trying to make him look like a fool!!

But for real, Possum is probably just practicing for the big party that comes right after the RV!! He's still drunk from the practice party last night!!

  8. Possum has a crib close to Lovelady/Weldon, Texas, spitting distance from the Trinity river.

There seems to be alot of people from East Texas on here. I, myself, am from Carthage, Tx.

We're from East Texas now. Post RV, all of us Texans will become Hawaiian!!

  9. Maynard, I'm a Steelers fan but boy was I cheering for the Vikes last year. Had they cut down on the to's I think they would have won. I like their chances this year as well. Picking up Gerhart, man they are just going to pound some teams into submission.

My mom is a Cowboys fan, and I came out of her womb as a Steelers fan. This drives her crazy. Let's get Palamalu in more games this year so we can win again!! Now that that's out of the way... without Madman, Chief, and Bigfoot, we'd bee in the dark on this thing!!! Thanks to you fellas that gather the intel for all the rabid RV anticipants!! You truly are a blessing. We love you guys (and the intel.) After the RV, I want to stick around the forum to hang out and see what my dinar family has going on!!

  10. Disappointment doesn't exist if you just look forward and realize that "one day, it will happen!!" I believe everything everyone says, as I am gullable, but have learned from my 2 years in this ride. I WILL WAIT, BUT NOT ANTICIPATE!! Thanks to everyone out there gathering intel, reliable or not. You're doing your part to contribute!!

  11. Truckerron....could be a nephew...never thought of that....marrying cousins and such in these small country towns...How does that Deliverance dualing banjo instrumental go...????

I'm from East Texas as well. The guy in that picture is my Uncle/Brother. He made that face when he was 4, my Mom/Aunt slapped him in the back of the head, and his face stuck that way. Poor Uncle Bubba Billy Wayne!!

  12. I registered for the sole reason to reply to this post. I have been coming to this site for almost a year, and have never replied to a single post, simply to stay out of people's hair. I have read uncountable posts. I am right there with you Harry. When life is giving you no more lemons, and all you want is some lemonade, you can get on here, and feel like you're talking to people that you've known for years. The good people on this site sometimes talk me out of being "thirsty," even without me saying anything back to them. I believe I'm with Harry in saying that we may not know who is on the other side of this forum, but sometimes it feels as if I'm reading an e-mail from a family member. Quite frankly, sometimes, the things people say are funnier than watching videos of people fall on youtube. Cheers to the ones who care. God bless the troops. And good God, can we can an RV?

    Yours truly,
