I really love this site. I am so glad that I joined you guys are great. I hope that the dinar will RV soon. I just hope and cross my fingers that the dates don't come and past with no RV. Like it has in the past weeks, months and years....SO lets all cross are fingers that this is our year we can finally cash in. The Show taking place on the 20th of June will be opened by Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister and has been organised with the support of the US Commercial Service and Baghdad Provincial Reconstruction Team. The event will showcase over 200 catalogues from US and UK companies. The day will also include high-level presentations from senior Iraq decision makers and a workshop focussed on setting a strategy to close the skills gap in the oil and gas sector. Iraqi electricity bills jump in power saving move 01 Jun 2010 17:06:29 GMT Source: Reuters * Iraq doubles price of electricity * Power cuts chief complaint of Iraqis By Aseel Kami BAGHDAD, June 1 (Reuters) - Iraqis on Tuesday began receiving electricity bills containing 100 percent tariff increases following a decision in April aimed at encouraging consumers to economise and help tackle crippling power cuts. Electricity demand has risen since the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, but the national grid still only supplies a few hours of power per day, a cause of discontent in a country that sits atop some of the world's biggest oil reserves. The Electricity Ministry said that from June 1 it would issue bills for the previous two months based on a new scale by which the price of a kilowatt/hour increases according to consumer usage. "The price will be cumulative, so in order to avoid a high bill the consumer should decrease his consumption," said Deputy Electricity Minister Raad al-Haris. The price has doubled from 10 to 20 Iraqi dinars per kilowatt/hour for the first 1000 kWh, or to the equivalent of less than $0.02. The rumble of expensive diesel generators has become a fixture of daily life, and observers say failure to quickly fix supplies has been a major factor in the erosion of public support for the U.S. occupation and the Iraqi government. Consumers will pay 50 dinars per kWh for between 1000 and 2000 kWh, 80 dinars for between 2000 and 3000 kwh, 100 dinars for up to 4000 kWh and 135 dinars for consumption beyond 4000 kWh. "It will increase the fees but it will not increase the power supply," disgruntled Iraqi Saja Nazar, a civil servant, said on Tuesday in Baghdad. "It will place a new burden on us. Where will we get the money from?" Greater purchasing power in Iraq since 2003 has brought greater demand for electricity, straining Iraq's current production of 9,000 megawatts. The Electricity Ministry estimates demand at 12,000 megawatts. In 2008, Iraq agreed a multi-billion dollar deal with Siemens <SIEGn.DE> for 16 gas turbines and a deal with General Electric <GE.N> for 56 turbines. Wow there is so much info on this site. I love it. I have been waiting and wating for 6 years for something to happen. And for the frist time it looks like there might be a light at the end of this crazy tunnel. I also want to add thank you to all you guys for your repley on my others posts that really means alot to me. I find it hard to rip myself from my computer. With everthing that is going on can't wait for the RV just hope it happens so very soon has i know we all do. Also what is the best exchange rate web site to look at. I always go to xe.com to check on the rates of the IQD. So again crossing my fingers hopeing and waiting for the light to finally shine though. God Bless

Can anyone tell me why. They think the dinar is going to RV in june or July. I mean I really hope so. I have lost my job and about to lose my house and everthing. I just hope it is true. So if anyone could tell or have facts on this I would love to hear thank you and God Bless...

Hello all. I have been following the dinar for 6 years now. Stopped looking on the sites for a couple of years. Then went to xe.com to check the rate and saw where the 3 zeros come in to play. since then I have been reading has much has I can trying to understand what is going to happen next. Lop no Lop Rv no RV. Maybe someone can explain to me. ALso about RV in June then July. ever since 2004 i have read the same thing for years it seems that every month on every year some said there where going to RV. That is way i stayed away from it in a while. But it seems to me now maybe something might happen. If someone got explain it to me I would be very thankfully. I got my money in 2004 while i was over there. Beening setting on it for 6 years now hoping and waiting that one day i would make some money off it. I don't understand this post trying not to be a dork but can someone explain why ever one is so happy . LOL Just a dumb blonde over here thank you guys for all of your help
