  1. I have to admit I stopped following Breitling due to his constant repeating himself. I haven't listen in a while nor seen anyone post his comments so I thought I would see what he had to say about the Shibibi deal so here it is.

Take it or leave it is just more info for all!

I tend to agree,,he is a good guy but the bulk of his blog repeats itself. 'Ya know comes up a lot'. However his concept and game plan are on point. Like Adam I feel there is no sensational info about this investment to report every day. I would tend to check in with Adam weekly. Iraq moves very slowly...

  2. Yota posted this article. It had me sort of stumped because the translation was just too cryptic. So I pulled some strings and had it interpreted by a friend who speaks Arabic. The translation is altogether brighter than what the google translation engines can do. WOW!

" Opening Commercial Consulates Will Develop Commerce and Boost the ISX "

The expert economist Dhirgham Muhammed Ali agreed that the steps to open any Arab or international commercial consulate in Iraq would transition the country , develop the national economy , and open it up to the world .

Ali further said : " Opening a commercial consulate for Dubai Chamber of Commerce in Iraq will serve the economy and help list new Arab companies on the ISX , thus boosting its activities " .

He further added : " This commercial consulate " ( i.e.of Dubai Chamber of Commerce ) " will serve Iraq's commerce and economy through the exchange of knowledge , rules , and commercial data between the two countries , in addition to opening new horizons for training Iraqi staff ang gaining expertise ."

The expert economist also called upon officials to encourage opening Arab and international commercial consulates to end the administrative routine of conducting Iraqi commerce , addng that the Iraqi economy would benefit from having stocks of Arab companies trading on the ISX .

This is really where this investment is going and the best part of it !! Thanks for the post.

He further mentioned : " Dubai Stock Exchange is one of the biggest stock exchanges in the Arabian Gulf , and its daily trading volume is no less than ( 4 - 5 ) billion US dollars ; thus, it will bring outstanding profits to the ISX . "

    I CANT BREATHE! ohmy.gifohmy.gifohmy.gif

This is really what this investment is all about. Great news and thanks for the post !

  3. TRX,

From looking at the financials at these so called small Banks. I have found that they are still worth 10's of Billions. I'm not an accountant or CPA, but it seems to me that investing in even a small Bank will be rewarded many times over. Banks on the ISX are very undervalued. I believe things will change drastically once Iraq is out of Chapt 7. Maybe because of merging with international banks these Small Iraqi Banks will want to be traded on a larger platform? DOW,DAX,FTSE?? IMO

    THX TRINITY

I strongly agree. There is a lot of great value out there at a really cheap price...its all a good buy.

  4. I WAS UNDER THE UNDERSTANDING THIS SITE IS ABOUT OUR DINAR INVESTMENT AND IRAQ NEWS NOT ALL THE BULLSHI% ABOUT OFF TOPIC POSTS THEIR ARE PLENTY OTHER SITES TO POST THIS USELESS INFORMATION PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ONLY INFORMATION ON DINAR INVESTMENT AND IRAQ THANKYOU

    Take a chill pill......

  5. Again I would say; If you don't believe that the CBI will or has pulled currency out of circulation. You need to GET OUT !!! of this investment.

You should put a few $$ up and actually invest in Iraq. You are clearly a downer, get a job at Walmart and educate youself in the meantime. I had the guts to go to Iraq and work, did you ?? I think not.

  6. I disagree, as we are waiting for movement on the IQD Warka account holders receive interest. The money isn't over there as a draw down account so it stays until the time arrives. I dont need or want to withdraw it. So it doesn't really matter that we may have difficulty in withdrawing now as it isn't relevant now, only later.

The interest does make a significant difference especially as it compounds over time. So when the eventual RV( whatever it comes out at) comes, it multiplies the gain even further.

The Iraq Govt will not let Warka slide. Its too important to Iraq in growing the private sector and would send the wrong signals to overseas investors.

    So we wait it out.

I also believe that any RV increase in the IQD will benefit Warka significantly.

Doesn't bother me if Warka limit withdrawal amounts later after a RV . It is a sensible measure to stop a drain on deposits and protect everyone.

Its just patience and Faith :)

I totally agree with your post . Thanks !!

  7. here are points to take away from the interview:

    • The market is just opening up to foreign investors
    • Opportunites are primarily in the banking sector
    • Change coming in very near future hopefully with the mobile operator IPOs
    • Mobile operator IPOs will change lay of the land and bring in more entrepreneurs to seek capital from the ISX
    • New hedge funds & frontier market funds have recently been setup that will invest in Iraq if they will be worth their weight
    • 10% of the market capital is from foreigners
    • No hurdles prevent transfer of monies in or out of Iraq
    • No restrictions on number of shares one can hold
    • Bureacracy is a killer to the economy

that pretty much sums up the points made Shawan Taha

pay no attention whatsoever to the video playing during the interview. it is very old and is continually replayed as a filler. bloomberg pretty much reaches into the video archive and plays that video when interviewing someone from iraq.

You spelled it out to a TEE !! These are points a lot of folks arent seeing. Great post.

  8. Everyone REALLY needs to calm down on this topic. Warka is owned by the Al Bonia family who have vast holdings and are considered to be the wealthiest family in the Middle East. If they were in trouble it would be on CNN no doubt. Warka has been under attack from time to time routinely for 3 years. If you really look at them and follow their progress in the last few years you will see a lot of consistent progress. Can Adam Montana guarantee this to you ? No. Is he worried as an investor ? No. Do I value his opinion and is he consistent ? Yes. No investment is safe, no matter where it is or who it is with. It seems that the folks who are bashing Warka are not even invested. Why ? Because they dont have the guts or the abiity to learn about Iraq. I went to Iraq 4 years ago as a contractor for the US govt to be an electrical inspector on FOB Falcon in Baghdad. I did well and it was a life changing experience. Did I have a gaurantee ? No. Just writing this to protect our members against negative vibes put out by people who dont have what it takes to get it done. Thank god for people like Adam who work so hard and put t ALL on the line.

  9. I'm actually surprised at this comment for a Plat VIP. To go all that way in this investment with many saying the same about the potential gains in RV.

Goldiegirl these people make me angry. Iraq is a great investment and the world is going to see how they emerge. I worked for almost 1 year in Iraq. I believe in this country. Study history...it repeats itself. I also believe liin Adam Montana.

  10. Not to impressed with your name. First post and it's also negative.

Sorry not feeling the same tension as your are. Perhaps we will hear from Adam on this. I can log onto my internet banking just fine thank you.\

Oh and what senior executive would that be? We all know Mr. I answers our emails. You have a special contact?

I agree Goldiegirl. I can login and Mr. I always gets back to me. This Warka bashers are really starting to annoy me. Most of them dont even have ISX or warka accounts and they claim to have all this info. They are just hoping Warka goes down so they can laugh at us. They dont even belong in this investment. Ive been listening to this kind of crap for 3 years that Ive had my account. No guts-no glory !!

None of these doom and gloomers has any credibility.

  11. To add to that you can send money to Aljazera from your Warka account to purchase on the ISX so that is why he most likely said what he said. It's not because Warka is shady.

You will not be able to stop the wire to Warka if you sent it on Thursday. It usually goes within a couple of hours depending on the queue of your bank. Most likely it was received in Germany (if that's where you wired) by Friday.

I am not going to worry. I believe they are investigating all banks and their process at this time. Shabibi has another review with the IMF on May 31, 2012 and I'm sure he needs to meet targets and deadlines. It's all cleanup.

Until you here otherwise, it's all heresay.

I couldnt agree more. Warka is fine I have an account and I am in touch with warka often. I also am in the ISX through warka and my account is updated every trade day.
