About Me
Thoughtful friend of mine convinced me to invest in Iraq's Dinar currency back in Sept. 2009 and I've never regretted doing it since. He came from an investing background as a broker and I feel quite grateful to have this "opportunity of a lifetime" that he shared with me. When I became involved in some hard times I had to sell everything I had of any value including all of my dinars. After he learned of it he wrote me an email and told me there was no way he could reap the rewards from an RV without providing the same joys for me. So he gifted me a substantial part of his holdings to cover me. I'm back on my feet now and I recently 'equaled' us out as I have an ample amount again.
I love the game of golf and all the wonderful things it's brought me. It kept me close to my father when I was growing up and during the four years I worked for him on weekends as his caddy. I didn't play then, but later did start playing once he insisted "it was time". Now he's no longer with us but once in a while when I go out to the course I thank him in my thoughts and tell him what I do there is to bring honor to what he taught me. In my spirit, I will never let go of the memories of our times together while in pursuit of the sport. To this day I still use the same putter he gave me to use in my first year of playing.
I proudly served in the U.S. Navy for eight years as an aviation electronics technician and spent time at sea on two ships, the USS Vreeland and the USS Joseph Hewes, both Knox class fast frigates. Deployed to the North Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea (1977).
