  1. It is the wonderful day when Bernie Sanders and Hillarious Clinton holds hands and say “Bernie Sanders, you have done MANY GOOD THINGS and I will listen to you about Free College For Everybody and More Better Public Options,” and Bernie Sanders will say, “I REALLY HATE DONALD TRUMP AND I GUESS YOU ARE NOT THE WH0RE OF BABYLON. MAYBE!” ......and everything is wonderful. http://suckersonparade.blogspot.com/2016/07/bernie-feels-devils-heat-after-selling.html

  4. Welfare Is the Highest Paying Entry-Level Job in 38 States By Mack Stetson How many people have been diverted from the workforce thanks to our welfare system? There are obvious problems with giving people “free” money. We could list the fact that the money is taken from the people who earned it, or that the debt pyramid that funds the “free” money is unsustainable and will end in crisis. We could point out that people drop out of the labor market because the free money makes it possible, thus lowering productivity at the same time that we are increasing obligations. That is a looming economic disaster for the country. But in my opinion the greatest evil of the system is how it degrades human beings and encourages them to decay into perpetual adult children. We capture animals and put them in zoos because they are not persons. But people don’t belong in zoos. They aren’t supposed to be taken from their natural habitat and placed in an artificial one where they are kept and fed. Human beings, in their natural habitat, are designed to produce and thrive, not live by the work of others. Being enticed into a system of welfare warps people. It twists them away from their purpose as men and women who are supposed to take care of themselves and their offspring. By the way, I know that some people are rendered unable to produce enough for their own needs by some accident of birth or other tragedy that befalls them. But that group of people has not suddenly expanded into the millions getting welfare today. Furthermore, people don’t discover their true potential without trying to reach it. That requires an incentive. Knowing that you have a “right” to welfare kills that incentive. The best way to balance the needs of those who cannot take care of themselves against the risk of teaching people to not take care of themselves is to handle welfare through the private sector and volunteer donations and service. The extent of the problem was recently emphasized to me when I read this piece at the DC Clothesline blog: “The Statistics Do Not Lie! Welfare Is the Best Paying Entry Level Job In 35 States!” Take a look at the following economic chart created by the Cato Institute. There are , in America, 35 states who pay welfare recipients better than retail clerks, factory workers and fast food employees. This is a world turned upside down and only the twisted communist-based economic policies of this present administration would think that this is acceptable. And before you welfare recipients fire up your computer to write to me and tell me how evil I am for printing this, I would remind you that what the government can give you, the government can take away from you. My wife started out her professional career working at McDonald’s serving hamburgers at the age of 16. Twenty years later and after several promotions, she was in charge of all of the corporate owned McDonalds in Arizona. On a national level, she ran the food concessions for the NBA All-Star weekend as well as the NFL Superbowl held in Phoenix. Under the present economic climate and policies, what would have been her motivation to work her way to the top before retiring? Today, our country has robbed its citizens of its most precious resource, hope! So we have millions of people being herded into a life of dependency and non- or minimal productivity. What happens when the crisis hits as a result of this unsustainable system? The people are going to be faced with a sudden absence of everything they have used to survive. I fear many will not be able to do anything but riot.
  5. Hillarious and the Dems have a #blacklivesmatter problem By Thomas Lifson The Democratic Party has painted itself into a corner with its heavy reliance on the black vote and its pandering to the extreme left. The problem is that the reservoir of hatred and violence on the black left is deep, and by pandering to it, the Dems expose themselves to a significant liability, and have been losing the ability to rein in their allies’ worst instincts. It is no secret that for Hillarious Clinton to win the presidency, she will have to inspire black turnout rates similar to those enjoyed by the Historic First Black President, Barack Obama, while remaining a wealthy and arrogant white woman. But first, she will have to deal with the #blacklivesmatter crowd, who demonstrated to Martin O’Malley last week their power to compel a Democrat to recant something as innocent as the contention that all lives matter. The venue where that confrontation took place was the netroots conference, a hive of left wing activists. Newly released video from that conference shows the extent of the madness that has seized that significant, powerful faction of the Democrats. Lee Strannahan of Breitbart writes: In rarely seen angle on the Black Lives Matter mob takeover of a NetRoots Nation Presidential Town Hall last weekend in Phoenix, Arizona, activists from the group scream explicit calls for violence and chaos, using an Occupy Wall Street style call-and-response technique to advocate “burn everything down,” “shut this **** down,” and “rise the **** up.” The shouted manifesto lays bare the theory behind the burning, looting, and rioting that have transpired in recent months in Baltimore and Ferguson, and it also lays out the group’s agenda on current news events like immigration reform, transgender activism, and the fables about the death of convicted criminal Sandra Bland that the group is spreading through the media. The video is alarming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=raK8kI7oKW0 As Strannahan notes, this is not some fringe group that can be expunged with no damage. Its leader has been a White House visitor. The nascent Black Lives Matter movement cannot claim that these statements were made by a few fringe members: the entire rant was orchestrated by Black Lives Matter Founder Patrisee Cullors, who can be seen in the video enthusiastically pumping her fist and shouting along with every incendiary statement. Nor is Black Lives Matter a fringe group; they have been embraced and given fealty by the highest levels of the Democratic power structure. Cullors told a British interviewer, “We’re going into halls of power now. Many of us are meeting with mayors or meeting with local government. Some of us have met with President Obama himself to talk about the demands.” Ms. Cullors’ name appears on White House visitor records. Oops. So, do Hillarious and her party try to quiet down the militants? If so, they risk cooling down the momentum in the black community for the Democrats, something that is happening anyway with a rich white woman on the ticket (so look for Cory Booker or Duval Patrick to get the vice presidential nod). But even with this palliative, the #blacklivesmatter crowd will not be satisfied. Stay tuned, it's going to be awkward.
  6. Dem's new agenda hauntingly similar to communism By Aaron Klein New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio Last week, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled a 13-point national “Progressive Agenda” that is being touted as the liberal “Contract with America.” The aim is for the “Progressive Agenda” to become the basis for the Democratic Party’s main economic policies, including those of its 2016 presidential candidate. De Blasio has compared his plan to the “Contract with America,” a document released by the Republican Party during the 1994 congressional election and drawn up by future House Speaker Newt Gingrich to serve as the GOP policy agenda. Now WND documents that most of the 13 points in de Blasio’s “Progressive Agenda” can also be found in the manifestos and literature of the Communist Party USA and the Socialist Party USA. The full progressive plan, entitled, “The Progressive Agenda to Combat Income Inequality,” can be found on the agenda’s new website. Here is a comparison of the Agenda’s plan with literature from the manifestos and writings of the Community Party USA, or CPUSA, and the Socialist Party USA, or SPUSA. • Progressive Agenda: “Raise the federal minimum wage, so that it reaches $15/hour, while indexing it to inflation.” SPUSA: “We call for a minimum wage of $15 per hour, indexed to the cost of living.” CPUSA: Calls for “struggles for peace, equality for the racially and nationally oppressed, equality for women job creation programs, increased minimum wage. … Even with ultra-right control of the Federal government, peoples legislative victories, such as increasing the minimum wage, can be won on an issue-by-issue basis locally, statewide, and even nationally.” • Progressive Agenda: “Reform the National Labor Relations Act, to enhance workers’ right to organize and rebuild the middle class.” SPUSA: “The Socialist Party stands for the right of all workers to organize, for worker control of industry through the democratic organization of the workplace.” CPUSA: “One of the most crucial ways of increasing the strength and unity of the working class as a whole is organizing the unorganized. Working-class unity depends on uniting all the diverse sectors of the multiracial, multinational working class in the U.S. … Speeding up the organization of unorganized workers is one of the most important challenges to labor and all progressive forces.” • Progressive Agenda: “Pass comprehensive immigration reform to grow the economy and protect against exploitation of low-wage workers.” SPUSA: “We defend the rights of all immigrants to education, health care, and full civil and legal rights and call for an unconditional amnesty program for all undocumented people. We oppose the imposition of any fees on those receiving amnesty. We call for full citizenship rights upon demonstrating residency for six months.” CPUSA: Declares the “struggle for immigrant rights is a key component of the struggle for working class unity in our country today.” • Progressive Agenda: Pass national paid sick leave. Pass national paid family leave. CPUSA: In October 2014, hails that “women are fighting back to defend their jobs and their families against candidates who want to destroy women’s reproductive rights, health care, family leave and paid sick days. Women’s voices and votes can make the difference in this election in the U.S. Senate and House, for Governors and State Legislatures, and in the movement going forward for full equality.” • Progressive Agenda: “Make Pre-K, after-school programs and childcare universal.” SPUSA: “We support public child care starting from infancy, and public education starting at age three, with caregivers and teachers of young children receiving training, wages, and benefits comparable to that of teachers at every other level of the educational system.” • Progressive Agenda: “Earned Income Tax Credit.” “Implement the ‘Buffett Rule’ so millionaires pay their fair share.” SPUSA: “We call for a steeply graduated income tax and a steeply graduated estate tax. …” CPUSA: “No taxes for workers and low and middle income people; progressive taxation of the wealthy and private corporations. …” Dems hail ‘beginning of revolution’ De Blasio criticized Obama as “too conservative” to assert a progressive economic vision and “too afraid to take the bold kind of action that President Roosevelt took” during the Great Depression, reported the liberal news network. Speaking at the “Progressive Agenda” launch event outside the Capitol building last Tuesday, de Blasio said “something is changing in America.” “It’s time to take that energy and crystallize it into an agenda that will make a difference,” he said. “We’ll be calling on leaders and candidates to address these issues, to stiffen their backbones, to be clear and to champion these progressive policies.” The Hill quoted Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., saying de Blasio’s plan “could be the beginning of a revolution.” Rep. Mark Pocan, D-Wis., commented the mayor’s plan represents “the meat on the bones of a progressive agenda.” Rep. Yvette Clarke, D-N.Y., said, “The cavalry has arrived.” The Hill reported that at the event, some Democrats pushed back against rumors de Blasio was attempting to use the plan to nudge presidential candidate Hillarious Clinton further to the left. “There’s gossip in Washington that this is about trying to move a certain candidate in a certain direction,” said former Democratic Vermont Gov. Howard Dean. “If you look at that candidate’s record, you’ll find that she’s embraced a lot of this already.” Last week’s de Blasio event was reportedly attended not only by politicians but also by union leaders and MSNBC host Al Sharpton. The Atlantic reported the coalition supporting de Blasio’s plan includes Dan Cantor, executive director of the Working Families Party. Cantor also was a founder of the socialist-oriented New Party. De Blasio once served as executive director of the New York branch of the New Party. WND previously exposed that President Obama himself was listed in New Party literature as a member. Soros economist behind Dem’s new ‘Contract with America’ As WND reported last week, a plan drawn up by a George Soros-funded professor seeking to “rewrite” the rules of the U.S. economy forms the foundation of de Blasio’s new progressive agenda. De Blasio’s “Progressive Agenda” was informed by a 112-page policy report at the liberal Roosevelt Institute titled “Rewriting the Rules of the American Economy,” reported MSNBC’s Alex Seitz-Wald. That 112-page plan was crafted by Nobel prize-winning Columbia University economist Joseph Stiglitz, who previously conducted teach-ins at Occupy Wall Street. Indeed, prior to last Tuesday’s launch of the “Progressive Agenda,” de Blasio attended an economic forum at the Roosevelt Institute co-hosted by Stiglitz, where he heaped praised on the economist’s “rewriting” plan. Besides accepting funding from Soros, Stiglitz has engaged in numerous projects with the controversial billionaire and sits on the boards of Soros’ organizations, including one openly seeking to remake the world’s economy. Stiglitz is a leading proponent of more government regulation of the economy. He previously chaired the Commission on Global Financial Issues of Socialists International, the world’s largest socialist organization. Stiglitz, the brains behind de Blasio’s new plan, has been an economic adviser to Obama, but he also criticized the president’s bank-rescue plan. Stiglitz said whoever designed that plan is “either in the pocket of the banks or they’re incompetent.” Stiglitz won his Nobel for research on what became the theory of information asymmetry, which argues for more government intervention in failing economies than the traditional “market failure” school had previously advocated. He has stated that “the real debate today is about finding the right balance between the market and government.” “Both are needed. They can each complement each other. This balance will differ from time to time and place to place,” he has said. Gavin Wright, chairman of Stanford’s economics department, summarized Stiglitz’s work. “Broadly speaking, Joe’s theoretical work has had to do with the shortcomings and imperfections of market economy, not from the standpoint of a thorough-going rejection of the market economy but from the perspective that holds out hope for improvement through government regulation or use of the tax system,” Wright said. Government, business as ‘partners’ Stiglitz was a member of President Bill Clinton’s administration, serving both in Clinton’s cabinet and as chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers. Stiglitz’s most important contribution during his time in the Clinton administration was helping to define a new economic philosophy called a “third way,” which called for business and government to join hands as “partners,” while recognizing government intervention could not always correct the limitations of markets. “Third Way” is an ideology first promoted as an alternative to free markets by Mikhail Gorbachev after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The “Third Way” of governing would be neither capitalist nor communist, but something in between. In his 1998 “State of the Union” address, President Clinton outlined the “Third Way”: “We have moved past the sterile debate between those who say government is the enemy and those who say government is the answer. My fellow Americans, we have found a Third Way.” The “Third Way” calls for business and government to join hands as “partners.” Discover the Networks criticized the theory: “In short, Big Business would own the economy (as under capitalism), while Big Government would run it (as under socialism). Corporations would be persuaded to comply with government directives through subsidies, tax breaks, customized legislation, and other special privileges.” Soros himself has been a vocal proponent of the “Third Way” economic policy. Stiglitz, meanwhile, also became involved in “global warming” issues, including serving on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, helping to draft a new law for toxic wastes and serving on the boards of numerous environmental groups, such as the Alliance for Climate Protection. 7. MoveOn defaces the dollar for political gainBy Sally Zelikovksy Ever since the Supreme Court correctly ruled in Citizens United that a corporation has a First Amendment right to make campaign contributions – leveling the playing field previously dominated by left-wing unions – progressive organizations like MoveOn.org have zealously sworn to destroy Citizens United at any cost. Taking a page from the conservative playbook for a change, the left has been toying with the idea of convening a constitutional convention and passing an amendment to overturn Citizens. No easy feat. While we’ve been caught up in our candidates, the devolution in the Middle East, the many HillaryGates, and every other scandal and disaster, leftists have been assiduously working behind the scenes to build this anti-Citizens campaign, and they are making headway. This fresh-off-the-press MoveOn e-mail asks members to make a donation. In return, they’ll receive a stamp to put on their dollar bills that says: "Stamp Money Out Of Politics. Amend the Constitution. MoveOn.org/stamp. #GetMoneyOut." You gotta hand it to them – creative, out of the box, bold, and illegal. Title 18, Section 333 of the U.S. Code provides: §333. Mutilation of national bank obligations Whoever mutilates, cuts, defaces, disfigures, or perforates, or unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, or Federal Reserve bank, or the Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt unfit to be reissued, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. Now, I am confident that this type of offense is rarely prosecuted; it’s not that easy to trace a doodle or phone number scribbled on Washington, Lincoln, or Jackson back to the original author. And even if you can find the person, proving an intention “to render it unfit to be reissued” could be problematic. But here we have a national campaign sent by e-mail to potentially millions – equipped with a name (stampstampede), a hashtag (#GetMoneyOut), a website, and a Facebook page! If ten thousand activist-donors get their mitts on a stamp and each stamped dollar is seen by 875 people, wham! That’s almost 9 million views at virtually no cost. If this campaign really ramps up, they could conceivably access the entire American voting market in a short amount of time. Not only is it illegal to deface currency, and not only can they blanket the voting public in a short amount of time using the nation’s moola to deliver a one-sided political message, but to allow this to go unchecked has even broader repercussions. Constitutional conventions have been frowned upon throughout our history because of the risk of a runaway convention, where any number of constitutional amendments can be proposed by participants from any ideological background. If the Convention of States movement is successful, it will be vulnerable to an attack by the left, since, as far as I can tell, there are no safeguards against a runaway convention. The looney left will then have an opportunity to swoop in for the kill and hijack the convention with its amendment to overturn Citizens United. We cannot allow that to happen. This “deface the dollar bill” campaign must be nipped in the bud. We must circulate this e-mail to the authorities. If you are a lawyer or know any U.S. attorneys who still have an ounce of objectivity, or know anyone with integrity at the Department of Justice, or have a connection with someone in the FBI, please forward the accompanying MoveOn e-mail. Be sure to include the picture of our now defaced greenbacks. If you are a supporter of the Convention of States, you might want to look into the approach of The Madison Coalition at www.regulationfreedom.org, which safeguards against the possibility of a runaway convention. It is unsavory to allow the currency we all use – that represents the entire country, regardless of political party – to be co-opted by the left for a political campaign. Can you imagine if the Tea Party handed out stamps that said “Taxed Enough Already”? We’d have not only the IRS on our heels, but the FBI as well! The progressives would like nothing more than to take advantage of a conservative effort – like a constitutional convention – and un-level the playing field by undoing the one decision that gets their collective gender-neutral panties in a snit. Well, it’s up to us to give those panties such a wedgie that the waistband wraps around their collective, gender-confused heads and restores our legal tender from political swag back to the currency it is supposed to be. * * * This is Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Today I'm writing about something that leaves a foul taste in my mouth: money in politics. Dear MoveOn member, This is Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's ice cream – but today I'm writing about something that leaves a foul taste in my mouth: money in politics. Jeb Bush has raised so much money that he's told his billionaire donors to give no more than $1 million now and save the rest for later – and he's going to let his Super PAC run his campaign.1,2The billionaire Koch brothers have pledged $100 million to the candidates they support, likely including Governor Scott Walker's run for president.3,4 While Ted Cruz raised $4 million in a few days, he helped his Super PAC raise $31 million.5 And Hillarious Clinton is planning on raising $200-300 million for Super PACs that back her – in addition to $2.5 billion for her own campaign.6 This system is disgusting. It's proof that our democracy is more awash in political spending than ever. It's a reminder that the richest 1%, corporations, and their lobbyists are going to own these elections – and that pushes the rest of us to the sidelines. Fortunately, MoveOn's 8 million members are doing something about this – and I know, because I'm a MoveOn member, and I see the meaningful, long-term work MoveOn is doing to overturn Citizens United. Which is why I'm writing today: Will you join me in supporting MoveOn's efforts to overturn Citizens United and combat its impact? If you donate $10 or more, my friends from MoveOn will send you a stamp that you can use to legally stamp your own dollar bills with this simple message: "Amend the Constitution – Stamp Money Out Of Politics." Click here to chip in, join the campaign to overturn Citizens' United, and help stamp big money out of politics. MoveOn members have a track record of effective work on these issues. MoveOn members helped push the Senate to hold a historic vote on a Constitutional Amendment to overturn Citizens United last fall. MoveOn members were part of the coalition that delivered 5 million signatures calling to overturn Citizens United this January. Over 100,000 MoveOn members signed petitions, made phone calls, and attended rallies urging President Obama to issue an executive order that all federal contractors must disclose political spending. And I know that my fellow MoveOn members and I are in this for the long haul – from achieving those executive orders to taking campaign finance reforms to the state level to ultimately bringing a constitutional amendment through Congress and to the nation. There's work to be done – and it's not getting funded by Jeb Bush's Super PAC. Will you join me in fueling MoveOn's work to stamp Big Money out of politics? And if you give 10 bucks or more, I'll send you your very own stamp so you can spread the message on your own. Click here to get your stamp – and help stamp Big Money out of politics – with a donation of $10 or more. I founded the Stamp Stampede because I've realized that getting money out of politics is the single most important fight of our generation. Whether you want to break up the big banks, reduce the Pentagon's budget, or fight climate change, you have to start by reclaiming our democracy. The Stamp Stampede has grown into a movement of tens of thousands of Americans, stamping dollar bills and circulating important ideas throughout the American economy. The more we can spread the word, the more we can build the movement. Each stamped bill will be seen an average of 875 times; it's like a petition on steroids!7 So, I'm ready to send you a stamp – and I'm ready to add my own stamp of approval to MoveOn's work. Let's not let billionaires have all the fun. This is our country. Let's stamp out Big Money and take our democracy back. Click here to let me send you a stamp – just pitch in $10 or more to MoveOn's ongoing, long-haul work to reclaim our political system. With you in the fight, –Ben Cohen, Stamper-in-Chief P.S. Here's an example of what a stamped bill looks like: If you haven't already boycotted Ben&Jerry's... Why not?
