Ok I have a rumor that is new to me. I heard it from a friend of mine who lives in Ill. He said that someone told him that the RV would happen this Sun.
He had no other info so please tell me does this qualify as a rumor?
well let's take the rumor to another level....let's call those things that be not as though they already were ! I call Sunday RV day !!! HAH !!! LMSGBO

as my late father used to opine: if you have crabs in a bucket you never need a lid unless there is only one crab....there's always some old crab trying to pull you back in the bucket.......great post Barbann

Absolutely Lyn LaVigne as an author with about ten books under my belt, full half of which were self-publish...the research, the production, the distribution all cost money....and as with yours...the MESSAGE was important....some people need a serious wake up call...or as one wag said....Do you have any idea what it costs to publish a book? I do! My last one cost more to produce than I could recover in sales. But I needed to get out the message and I did so--at my expense. So much for making a huge profit off book sales.those who can't do and can't teach become CRITICS.....

Thanks ToddS....the picture is small but there is a "rainbow" over the BUFF....it has GREAT meaning to me personally, for I was miraculously spared from a SAM over Hanoi when I flew that bird...thank you ToddS

Thank you for listing your books, wow, the Shroud really has been a passion in your life! I commend you for authoring 4 books on the subject. Just so you know, my own Chaldean community is going to have an exhibition on the shroud in two weeks, where my bishop will be giving a lecture on the topic. Here is the link:

The Servant book was "Verdict on the Shroud", followed by "The Shroud and the Controversy" (Thomas Nelson) and "Image of the Risen Christ" (Frontier Publishing)...working title now is "White Linen & the Blood of Sprinkling" ...haven't identified a publisher as yet... still digesting your paper...thanks..EagleEye,Do let me know the name of the book that you have authored, and also the one you are working on. I will continue posting, hopefully soon, in your thread, and will address your questions.

I am not some fancy investor, but God has been more than faithful to provide for me; and says that He will instruct me and teach me in the way I should go, and that He will counsel me with His eye upon me. I also know that the Scriptures say that borrowing is associated with a curse and that giving and lending go hand in hand with blessing. I so want to live by these principles ... and to do so I have to be debt free even though the "experts" may say I can come out better by employing various financial strategies that might go against this. At some point I have to say that enough is enough, and when this RV's, it will be enough for me. I will be through with this and will make investments that are modest and reasonable with giving at the forefront of my ambitions. I have no children to consider, and those of you who have families have a responsibility that I cannot fathom. My hope and prayer is that you will diligently pursue their care and be successful and faithful in what God has entrusted to you.

I will read in depth this evening, but even before I read....1) some of my colleagues have opined that Abgar was called "the Black" because he had leprosy but the Bible says clearly leprosy turned the skin "white".... is there anything in the history that reflects "why" he had that "name" ? 2) again my colleagues refer to the "Doctrine of Addai" which says Abgar sent Jesus a letter asking him to come heal him of some "disease" that Addai came after Jesus' resurrection and came bearing the Miraculous Image of Christ (Image of Edessa) what do you know of that story ??

In 1976 I became involved in what has become a "magnificent obsession" for me ever since, but YOUR "come clean" post opened up a whole new vista for me...while many historians over the years have mentioned Addai and even St Thomas, your post contained more info on their missionary trip than I had ever read...I really look forward to reading your paperand at some point hope to share with you my research as well...even the mention of Abgar had more depth...what was the title of Abgar that you used again ?? we only knew him as Abgar "the black"...I have so MANY questions...I don't know where to begin...again THANKS for that Post...hope to hear from you soon...Be Blessed....

I am leaning more to Ennoreste on the rate, Iraq will need to be on par with the rest of the nations in the ME, and in a very short time they will blow past all of the economies over there.
