I don't know how anyone can read that google transation and understand a thing. we have a dinarvets member whose wife read Arabic and they are going to try to get better translation for us.

I met him when I was on faculty at the Air Force AcademyI met Jim Irwin, who went in search of Noah's Ark after his incredible walk on the moon (Apollo 15) He drove the Lunar rover. Unfortunately space caused his body to create way too much cholesterol and he died 4 days after I met him. He had every intention of going back and making another run for the Ark. -
Which "ark" searcher...I have known or known of several including the late Ron Wyatt whose work fascinated me because IF accurate then a) the "blood" of Jesus was on the mercy seat of the ACTUAL ARKYes He is good, I have also seen your work,and have been very blessed by it's encouragement! If you know that you know that you know, you don't let anybody stand in your way of speaking the truth! I believe this to be truth, based on your materials, and others who I respect who have inspected the cloth first hand. Our savior is RISEN!!!! and is coming again, make no mistake about that! Thank you for the work you have done on this very touchy subject. I also know the man who has been in search of the ark of the covenant. That is very interesting as well.

In 1976 I had the unimaginable honor of being selected as spokesman and editor for the Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP) that actually did hands on testing of the Shroud of Turin for six 24hr days. Since that time I have edited a book of essays by my fellow team members and authored three more on the Shroud. Furthermore I have produced one Documentary: Behold The Man (which airs annually on TBN) and appeared in a number of others (Discover, History, Nat Geo to mention a few) Yet in large measure due to media bias and the long since debunked C-14 results (they did NOT date the linen but a piece of cotton woven into the linen for repair of fire damage in the middle ages) the Shroud remains the best kept secret of Christianity. The Shroud will be brought out for display this May. My current book project has garnered an invitation to Rome to speak in conjunction with this public exhibition. I have been to Kirkuk, Ba'Quba, Baghdad and Tikrit - I have never seen the hatred that is portrayed on the US Television. I don't go into the cities but deal with Iraqi's almost daily and when leaving and returning on my R&R's, I have never felt uneasy or scared - they are acutally very polite people and the ones I have worked with and interacted with(at the different locations) are more thankful for our Soldiers and Airmen than most will ever understand. I have to tell my kids all the time - don't beleive everything you see...yes the bombings are real and they need to stop killing each other and the innocent people. (That part is factual) I live in a town of about 1400 people and there is probably more hatred in the hearts of some in my small town than I have seen over here. I would recommend to others after the RV, if you have a chance or opportunity to come to Iraq - DO IT.....
You have hit the nail on the head Riley. Media bias in a "wartime" scenario has been outrageous for far too long. Yes war is an awful thing and no one knows that better than those who have had "boots on the ground" for whatever reason. My peers and I who served in VietNam were vilified because of an inaccurate media picture. THANK YOU THANK YOU for telling the truth about Iraq and the Iraqui experience. Get back to us safely !!

Too many Christians shy away from the last Book of the Bible, which is THE REVELATION of JESUS CHRIST which GOD gave to John to show HIS "servants"...You should not wait for a Bible Scholar to explain it to you, but read it and study it yourself, and with the HOLY SPIRIT you will receive understanding. It is the ONLY Book in the Bible that promises you a "blessing" if you read and/or listen to the words. It is the culmination of all of GOD's wonderful plan for HIS Family. Embrace it. Eat it. Pray over it. You will be blessed. After all, GOD has blessed us to live during its unfolding. Millions before us have longed to see these days. We are living in the last days of the Revelation of JESUS CHRIST as the Coming KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS, who will "tabernacle" for ever and ever with us HIS Believers. His Family. GOD Bless us richly and give us a greater hunger for HIS Word, and HIS Presence in our lives.

Sunglass the best kept secret of the Book of Revelation is that most people think it is difficult...they have been programmed to believe it is difficult...the original Greek Word for Revelation means THE UNVIELING...God intends for us to understand this book...after RV I'll tell you where to look...be blessed...

Hello FDyer, I appreciate your use of scripture. But I would like to add that there are different types used in scripture that are descriptive of things to come. There is a physical Babylon, Political Babylon, and Spiritual Babylon. If you consider this theory, you have to consider other cities also: Rome, New York, Tyre, as well as Babylon. A similar word once applied to Tyre whose great wealth and trade was the envy of the world, as was Rome's. Today you have to include New York as well as other cities. This is, as I stated, a theory, and attributing any one city must be taken in consideration of other scripture.
