Hey, @tink531.  There will hopefully be those who can give you better insight.  But, I personally would consider 500 notes (leave off the dollar sign) to be lower denoms and active at this time.  The 50 note was discontinued.  With dinar so hard to get these days, Treasury Vault is probably happy to have any to sell.

I did get an e-mail from them recently selling 50,000 notes.

Thank you for your response and information. I also did see the 50,000 notes and 25,000 notes were available too at Treasury Vault. I saw the 10,000 note on another website as well.

  2. Hi! I am rather new to the dinar world. I have been lurking for many months trying to learn as much as I can. I have noticed that it was almost impossible to find online websites with any dinar in stock. However, today I decided to look again and found something strange, or at least strange to me from what I have read. Treasury Vault has $500 denomination notes in stock for sale. They are asking for $69 for $25k(50 of 500 denomination notes) plus shipping. I am not planning on purchasing this, but it made me curious. My question is...do you'll consider the $500 denomination note as a lower denomination? What is considered lower denomination?
