I just had to do this. Please anyone who is new to this site, please do not listen to any one who claims the rate and the date of the RV. We are all speculating and tearing down the article the best we can. There are many folks on here who are well informed and are really good at breaking the articles down and then, your own DD is the best investment of this investment.

With all do respect to everyone. do we believe the cbi is prematurely telling everyone it will rv at a 1, months and months before a rv????? Its illogical by every account. If they were saying prematurely of a rv of 1 :1, wouldnt it be world news. Wouldnt iraqis, iranians, syrians, investors, world bankers be buying up every dinar in the world???? If the cbi removed 80% of dinar in circulation, why would they announce a rv prematurely and give all these people months to buy up all the dinar they brought back in??? It would destroy the cbis efforts to release this info earlier. its illogical to me in every sense.
this 1000:1 is a rd in every aspect. 1170:1 moving to 1.17:1, directly is the definition of rd. 1000 old=1 new is rd talk. I would love to think anything other than this. i want to change my mind. Yet i cant dismiss the total openness the cbi is giving. if this was just a straight rv, they would never tip their hand like this.
i really really hope the cbi is full of it!!
I agree wih you. Unless the GOI and CBI are putting this out to stop people from starting a run on the dinar.

Your right, it does......and having a money supply of 60 plus trillion dinar at a equal value to the USD wont happen.....it has to be reduced first....

Sorry, but an exchange of 1,000 old dinars to 1 new dinar is NOT the outcome that anyone speculating on the dinar wants...
He actually has it completely backwards... We want the dinar in Iraq to be exchanged in Iraq at a 1:1 ratio, simply because it would mean that the old and new dinar held the same purchasing power. At a 1000:1 ratio, it is being stated like other countries have done where the purchasing power of 1,000 old would equal that of 1 new, which is NOT what we want...
We all want this to happen where the IQD is a boom to our bank accounts, but the quotes he is using are not supporting those hopes... He is using the statements that support the previous statements of 25,000 dinar would become 25 dinar (1000:1) and saying it is 'good new?

Wow....how can you tell someone they lack education when its pretty clear they are relating to what Turkey and germany did....they both redenominated making the NEW currency a higher value....
He is spot on to what they are saying....deleting the zeros is not profitable to us....not what we want. You should be the one looking up to see exactly what germany and turkey did, then come back and have a discussion about it....
you stat that a LOP is not profitable to us. It could be. Lets say you bought 1,000,000 dinar for 1,000. now it LOP,s. So you now have 1,000 dinar. If thet then RV to 3.22 the dinar ou bought for 1,000 are now worth 3,220 more than three time's what you bought them for.
Now this is not what I would like to see but I can't say it was not profitable.

My brain is so saturated with deleting the zeros articles that I cant make myself read them anymore. It's a form of torture directed towards speculators. Speculation is more challenging than I thought it would be. Lol!!!

for 1 1/2 years i have heard the same recycled stories :
1] the u.s.t. is in lockdown mode---prove it gurus !
2] the rates are on the banks " backscreens "
3] the rv just happened " in - country " only
I agree, I am so glad that I found this site. At least people back up what they say by posting the reference material that they are quoting from. I also am tired of the Guru's. They have been calling it the last three months. I guess if you keep calling it you will eventually get it right.
I do like the intelligent discussions and different opinions that I have found here.
I like everyone else here would like it to come in high and with no LOP. I don't be leave that will happen but I am hoping

Good Morning fellow investors,
I just want to share a small piece of (Intel) from a source that I have. This only in rumorville as I do NOT have proof of this just as all of the gurus doesn't either. Ok, a source that I have shared with me that the RV is going to come in high. Even though Ali and a few others believe it will come in very low and raise over a long period of time, my source doesn't buy that. The RV is looking to come in at $4.40 as this RV will be a world wide event not only with the dinar but with the dong, USD, ERO, the British Pound and other currencies. Some will revalue and some will devalue. The USD is expected to Devalue during this world wide event which is supposed to make the $4.40 Rate go even higher according to my source's source. The RV was set to happen weeks ago with an even higher rate which congress and senate were to cash in at and then drop to a lower rate for the citizens such as you and I but China intervened not agreeing with the act of Congress. China's thought on this is, if the RV going to come in high then EVERYBODY cash in at that rate, not just Congress. Here's what China knows:
1. If everyone cashes in high, more good will be bought from them (China)
2. This will increase the possibility of America to get out of the 15 trillion dollar debt. Visit http://www.usdebtclock.org
