  2. Look at it this way. I live in Canada. Only a few years back the USD was worth $1.35 CAD. Today, it's $.94 against $1 CAD. You've lost about 40% of your buying power in the USA. Americans use to come here in droves to vacation and shop. Now the border lineups are on our side going into the USA for great deals. Keep going like this and you'll be so poor nobody will want the USD.

WAIT but there lining up in droves to buy our goods hmmm

well i guess thats one way to sell of your inventory just have a going out of business sell :eyebrows:

I see where your coming from. It sure would hurt for a while, but I worry sometimes about falling back into a cold war against China and Russia. Having them playing like capitalists is safer than them constantly building arms and rattling their sabres.

When people are poor, their governments tend to want to find someone to blame from the outside! History proves it.

Wow!!!!!! some people are starting to wake up :Dit must be working

  3. You aren't understanding how national credit ratings work. To loose your S&P AAA credit rating and be downgraded to AA will cost America billions of dollars more to maintain debt payments and to borrow money, and borrow you will. It will also finish off your 401k that was just about killed in 2008. Business' will not spend and unemployment will skyrocket. Very ugly scenerio!

The US fiat monetary system is built on being in debt. The more debt you create, the more foreign nations buy up that debt to bulster their reserves and prop up the USD. Only one problem though. Foreign countries like China are getting tired of carrying the USA's debt load while the US Treasury churns out billions more dollars from their presses all the while devaluing the USD further. If China were to sell their USD reserves, guess what? The only one who will buy them is the US Fed that issues them in the first place. It would literally devalue the USD by easily 30% overnight. It's a virtual house of cards that can come down real fast.

If President Obama continues to spend like he's doing and continues to print money like he's doing, rest assured, the USD will nosedive even further and your economy, as well as a good portion of the world's economy will crash and burn! Canada's too. We're joined at the hip, no choice!

    yep your right

but then the world would see just who could support its self (self sustained)you have to shake the tree every now and again to make the rotten fruit fall off for the benefit of the tree . ;)

Just tell them that the industry that supports them has polluted it to the point of no return(scare them). And that the only way to change it is to buy it from a bottle .(that they control the price on).

Now your in business selling something that was free before.

  7. Note from Phoenix: Heads up! IF we were to see the revaluation of the Iraqi Dinar BEFORE the United States is downgraded someone stands to lose billions and billions of dollars! So "someone" is poised to make billions and billions of dollars when the US is downgraded! Now it is starting to become clear just why we are seeing this delayed! Whoever is behind this and whoever is in control of Obama is doing all they can to stop the pending revaluation of the Iraqi dinar to assure that they make a massive profit from the failure and downgrade of the United States. Just know and take comfort in the fact that they cannot stop the revaluation from happening but that they can cause the delays as we are seeing now and it is now all too clear as to why they have caused this delay. Now as SOON as the US is downgraded and whoever this person is makes their massive profit we can expect to see the revaluations take place and whoever this is causing this delay is sure to make a massive profit from the pending revalue also.

Who actually believes this stuff anyway?????

Hmm? So I take it you don't believe in secrete (hand shake org.)Or that it could be possible to engineer something so big.

Read your history from 270 years ago(about how America was made)

    who would have thunk

  8. I have speculated and purchased a good sum of dinar. As one who has skin in the game, a few questions have developed in my mind as to the real value of the dinar. Is there a link which clearly and precisely shows the value transfered to the GOI on the 1st of July 2011? If not I want to know why. I also have noticed many respond to simple straight forward questions placed on sites like this with anger and hate. The negative has no efficacy with me. I bought in knowing it to be an extremely high risk adventure and am at peace with whatever direction this story takes. I do become very concerned though when I read emotionally negative comment's to fair questions. I'm concerned because it indicates either this is a scam or the speculation in the dinar involves immature and ignorant investors. Since we all what to find some gold at the end of this rainbow let's try to live by the golden rule. I only what to know simple things in answer to simple questions, thanks.

    1st question

Right now with what the dinar is backed with GOLD / and the amount of people in the country /amount of dinar (cash) in circulation (the real amount. Not what they tell you)and the rate of expansion in infrastructure .The dinar is a great investment for someone who knows how to use it to there advantage .There is not just one place to find the actual value. If it was that easy there would be a frenzy trying to get in on it by investors .HMM?????????????

    2nd question

dinar involves immature and ignorant investors (this pretty much sums it up) but in the past three months Iraq has exploded with opportunity everybody wants there slice

"O"and dont forget the oil. Most people still think thats why we did this in the first place (ha)

  9. I do not know anything about the guy who started this thread, but it amazes me when people make comments without any clue of what they are talking about. I know for fact that $10,000 notes once existed and that today they are so rare that every one of them that remains is accounted for by people interested in this kind of thing. Such a note is a rarity like a prized artwork, whose value is based upon condition and rarity. While the bank may only give you $10,000 for it, it would not be a problem to find someone who would give you many times its face value. You just need to know where to find the buyer. Obviously this poster does not, because it ain't at the bank!

    Amen!

  10. and they have never tried to collect tax before from illegal aliens but there going to now...........FACT( quoting the rockstar)

Uuuuuuummmmmm. I believe u have missed this one too. U can get a tax I.D number n still b illegal. Dude u have got to make sure u know what ur talking about, even if it's from another source.

UUUUUUUUAAAAAAA last time i checked you dont need a tax ID to send cash ................

But if your Illegal and sending more than $1000 per month to a foreign country (IN CASH) you will find out soon what im talking about........FACT...... take that to the bank..............

O and if i wanted to take a loss i could cash in the rest of my dinar .Tier 1 ant it a *****...........................

Common sense will tell you that adding IRS agents has zero to do with a possible RV of a ............... foreign currency. The US has NO control in the matter. If the US GOVT had any influence, the RV would have occurred along time ago.

I smell another PUMPER. Yes I do.

Pumper ? I could give two S#!ts if you ever cash in. I HAVE GOT MINE.

  12. Hi RockStar... You're at it well again. Obama has definitely signed the release... part of the release docs are to authorize to put IRS offices in Iraq. For those that don't fight IRS Auditors every few months as I do, they may not know there are IRS offices and IRS Agents in all different countries in the World, sniffing around trying to make sure everyone who is a US Citizen is paying their tax on money they make.

It also seems that Ch 7 has been lifted from Iraq with the Shell Oil deal being signed, and the UN money being distributed 30 June, these all according to my CPA hubby who used to be a TAX EXAMINER for IRS in New York and an AZ State Auditor.

For all of you who hate paying taxes... just think of it as paying rent to walk on the land and use the infra-structure on the land. That's how we look at it when we make our payment to IRS each year.

To all of you who think Tier 1, 2 and 3 are bunk... haven't heard of the Public and the Private Side in Banking and in Government. Private Banking is not the commercial side where the tellers are, it's either at an off-site location or is upstairs or at the back of the bank. Most will not be able to get the information about cashing in from the phone. They need to physically go to the bank and see about either a LOC or exchange possibility. With a business person getting a $ 2M LOC on 1 Unit of Dinar, it seems an individual could get at least $ 250 - 500K -- just a thought, from someone who really understands the Highest Finance in the world and understand how it works.

The RV seems to be coming soon. Happy thoughts for all. Go RV!

You know! you could tell these people till your blue in the face. They just dont get it . you can tell who will be broke in three months ....................

Glad to see there are still some Americans not being led around by the nose ........

  13. I will say this ! There are a lot of stupid people in the world ................

This is why a person can say that McD's happy meal makes kids fat .

Its there parents that bought It ,so Who's fault is it????????????????

If this fits YOU then yes im talking to you.

Double face palm and a triple eyeball roll. Common sense will tell you that adding IRS agents has zero to do with a possible RV of a ............... foreign currency. The US has NO control in the matter. If the US GOVT had any influence, the RV would have occurred along time ago.

I smell another PUMPER. Yes I do.

US has no say ???????? In the RV of a country that we are still in conflict with ???????

This is why this country is going to S#!T The people in it cant see past their nose....................

No affiance to the ONES that see the light at the end of the tunnel

  14. Sorry there Sparky ... I'm NO private collector and I have 5K and 10K notes, in fact I have 500, 1K, 5K, 10K and 25K notes - so I have no clue what you are harping on about. By the way for someone supposedly in business, your spelling is less than impressive, and would turn me off from wanting to do any kind of business with you.

you dont read so well do you we are talking about $ not dinar

  15. Trade Bank of Iraq “Operating Normally”

Posted on 19 July 2011. Tags: Trade Bank of Iraq

According to a report from Reuters, the new president of the Trade Bank of Iraq said on Monday that the bank is operating normally and expansion plans are moving ahead, its new president said on Monday to allay fears of correspondent banks after its former chief fled amid allegations of financial irregularities.

To allay fears of correspondent banks after its former chief fled amid allegations of financial irregularities, Hamdiya al-Jaf, who was recently appointed chairwoman and president of the state-run bank, said TBI is operating independently and without political interference.

“At the beginning there was a fear among the correspondent international banks, or question marks for a short period, but … we have proved to the world that the TBI has not changed concerning its work and its banking activities,” Jaf told Reuters in an interview.

Former TBI president Hussein al-Uzri fled Iraq in early June after Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki ordered a judicial inquiry into the bank when a committee that including officials from the anti-corruption commission and audit authority reported financial violations.

In a Reuters interview, Uzri said the allegations were fabricated and called himself a victim of a power grab by people close to Maliki.

While the bank is overseen by Iraq’s cabinet, by law, Jaf said, it operates independently and is monitored by the Central Bank of Iraq and the Bureau of Supreme Audit like any other Iraqi bank.

“No political entity has any effect on the bank,” Jaf said in her office in Baghdad’s west-central Mansour district.

She said the investigation of alleged financial violations had not been completed.

Set up in 2003 after the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein, TBI has developed into one of Iraq’s largest and most profitable financial institutions, involved in financing purchases for the food ration programme and securing private sector financing for power and other reconstruction projects.

Large U.S. financial institutions like JPMorgan Chase and Citibank are among its correspondent banks.

TBI has 14 branches across Iraq and aims to add four more to cover all of Iraq’s 18 provinces, as well as Islamic banking services in four provinces, Jaf said.

It has received approval to open its first foreign branch in Beirut, she said, to be followed by a branch in Turkey.

Net profit this year is expected to increase by more than 18 percent over last year, she said. In May, the bank reported an 18 percent increase in 2010 profits to $361 million.

Jaf also expected the value of deposits to increase from $13 billion in 2010, but did not cite an exact figure.

The government said last year it was looking for bidders to build 1 million housing units, valued at an average of $50,000 each, for a total value of $50 billion. TBI intends to help finance that project, Jaf said.

“We will take part in the financing. It will bring benefits to Iraq in developing its construction infrastructure. In addition there will be financial revenues to the bank as a result,” she said.

  16. Yep they cant hold back any longer the ball is rolling they have to turn it on..... or lose their contracts

They are learning that independent contractors get things done Quick and want to be payed..........

This is not like the USG rebuilding .
