  1. Postscript. After reading several good comments on my Forbes blog exposing the buy Iraqi Dinar get rich quick scheme as a scam, I want to make it very clear that I also believe it’s a scam. My intent for the original blog was to answer tax questions about holding physical currency as an investment, not to drill down into the Iraqi Dinar scheme. I may do just that in a follow-up post soon. -R.G.

    Postscript on original article: http://iqd.me/l/l6

ROD you can save your follow up. Dinar is not a scam .And its people like you that said that it was a get rich quick plan in the first place . I have had my dinar for 8 years. There is nothing quick about it .I held my Kuwaiti dinar till 92' that was not quick either .....................

When the word scam is used for the dinar, to me it show's immediate ignorance. How can a counties currency be a scam? We are not talking investing with Bernie Madoff here. The only thing that has been shady about this investment is the lies from these so called guru's. This currency will have to increase some day. The only ? is when and how much! It amazes me how many people judge something without doing the due dilligence and research before they open their pie holes. B)

Thank You for saying that this is the most reasonable way to look at it.+1 :D

I see a big black Suburban in your near future . Just don't answer the door in you UNDERWEAR .I see enough of that on Cops as it is . :D

Remember you are talking to a lot of people that where there for that whole story first hand..............................

  3. I doubt most people have. So what. The point is what? I've never been to a slaughterhouse yet I still buy steaks. I've never done business with dozens of companies yet I own their stock. I've never grown wheat but I still eat bread. I've cast a lot of votes in my lifetime yet never met a single candidate. What possible difference does it make if people have been to Iraq or not? It doesn't make the dinar any more or less legitimate as a currency.

Sound like you need to get more involved with where your money goes .The point im trying to make is don't go blindly in the dark on a promise from a person that dont know a thing about what is actually happing in any part of your life .

This is what has the country in the shape we are in right now .If more people got engaged 20 years ago in the economy . Maybe just Maybe we could have diverted the disaster, that is becoming of our economy .

Now I wont clame to know every thing about dinar. But i do know for a fact that it will reinstate this year .Perhaps very soon !!

The important thing to remember is there is no better way to get more money out of this than just going to the bank and cashing it in OR investing it back in Iraq.

If anybody tells you different they are trying to get in your pocket for a %...................Thats not :twocents: thats a fact.

1st Gulf War, 2nd Gulf War, then 4 years as a contractor, running convoy security, have Iraqi friends I try to keep in touch with, all they soon is soon, but they been saying that for years.

So you know what you have and i bet you dont get lead in to anything concerning you dinar

I think that even-though we have done our part for our country. Maybe we are just not finished yet. Because it seems that some of the good hearted folks on here need some guidance .

I think some of us should step up and get some of these scam (gurus) in to a new line of work .like picking up trash for the county .That way we can keep a eye on them .

  4. Been there, have friends there now....the only one's that "know" ain't sayin....if you're looking for specific information as to when and how much all I can tell ya is hunker down and be patient. Its been said on here many a time that our "clue" will be on CBI, and NO disrespect to anyone, but you will see it there before you hear it anywhere else, IMO.

I have been here since may 03'

  5. Hey Rockstar. Just what would you like to know? Im not there now but did 3 tours there in 03, 04, 06. i purchased my dinar in 04. I dont claim to have first hand knowledge of whats going on but I do have friends that are there now. They arent telling me anything of importance.

Ya i just want to know if the people on here have seen what is really going on out there .OR if the just happened across the dinar on some investors web site

  6. This is your practice .

Just like this every day ,on this site

thats how that guy ,investing your money gets it done.

So why cant you do it your-self.

It seems that a lot of you have the knowledge it takes .

I say, (Just do it) dot get lead around by the nose. For 5% of your profit .The gov. already gets 30% of everything .And thats how these scam gurus(wall street brokers)make there money taking a % its funny it always the other persons money that disappears with these guys.

    End Quote

Do you realize how important and heavy are those statements for a lot of People? I do hope you know what you are talking about.....Seriously

One has to wonder at this point... What The Frick?

    Bert

you know im not trying to sell you anything or aline you in any way im just the opposite . I keep telling all of ya'll .Do this on your own .Stay away from people that want to invest your money for your. If the economy Right now don't prove that point then there is no help for you.

  8. Step away from the koolaide.

Seems you have had your limit.

    "A compliance issue?"

A "compliance issue" is handled by a phone call or regestered letter.

At most an appointment in the local IRS office with requested records.

NOT a dozen black SUV's filled with FBI and IRS raid team members with federal warrant in hand.

    hahahahahahahaha

  9. Tony Renfrow (google him) was an MLM guy also with plenty of "scam" type complaints against him. Tony is the "RV is here evey week" guy from PTR.

Same with Dan (zzzzzzzzz). These characters are now pumping their trusts etc.

I would RUN from these guys.....

    Hmm !!!!

Having this investment and handling it your-self .Most any thing you do with it is legal . But when you put together a group of people that are not related,To have leverage of some sort NOW you are getting in to some sticky ground.

Im Cretan that Adam can shed light on the license and proper doc's that one should possess to handle a group of peoples money.

    :twocents:

My question for you. This is simply a hypothetical for you or anyone. If one was going to push the idea of purchasing lower denominations how would you drive the prices and the demand up substantially to make more bang for your buck? Don't you think someone could create an interesting market by selling them on EBAY and asking ridiculous amounts for the lower denominations and then make a couple of fictitious sales through their "friends" to lend credibility to the higher values? Wouldn't it be equally interesting if someone making suggestions for lower denomination purchases actually had a preferred Dinar dealer they openly recommended?

It's those things that make you go Hmmmmmm?

This is the kind of thing im talking about very sticky ground

  10. Kuwaiti dinar in '92? Kinda missed the boat on that one eh?

No I held it to make damn sure that there was no problem .because there was so much stolen they where confiscating it left and right But i guess you would have had to be there

and wouldn't you know it had went thru the roof by that time :D

  11. Hey, Tommy Boy, think about it. Adam Montana just might be Brad Huebner. And Brad Huebner just might be Okie Oilman, and he could be a number of the "gurus" that have been put on a pedestal the past seven years. This whole RV deal could be the brainchild of 3-5 guys and the fact that 3-5 guys got together last week in Huebner's office for a Dinar pow-wow isn't good either. Who knows. maybe they all "re-set" the price to charge for the dinar. maybe they all make up the sum um total of the dinar sellers out there.

I've spent my whole career around sales people and investment advisers and market gurus. let me tell you something. The ones that can do a deal "straight up," are few and far between. That's been my experience about them and it's hard to tell they're preparing to rifle through your pockets when they're talking to your face. These guys are like heroine addicts. When they're talking to you they are actually looking past you to their next fix. It could probably never be proven, but I think the psychology is the same here. They just can't do a deal straight up and I'm beginning to wonder who can these days.

I'm in this investment 60 days now. I'm used to the "vometility" (volatility) that investing and dealing in capital markets provide, and I feel bad for the many thousands of people that have been in this investment for 4,5,6,7 years now.

If there is impropriety here, I hope they get the full wrath and legal extension of the long arm of the law.

    hahahahaha

There may be some scam gurus out there But Adam is not one .

I have had iraqi dinar since 03' and had Kuwaiti dinar in 92' it is not a scam but some of you up tight wall-street types are trying to turn it in to a scam for your benefit

Kinda like the sub prime mortgage fiasco

I purchased all my dinar through Ali until recently becoming a member of the another site...I've listened to their monday night calls and have made two purchases from them (received my second purchase today with no problems) and made out my certified checks to "The another site"...I hope I dont get a phone call or a visit from a black suburban tomorrow...these dinar orders are arriving with the Dinar Trade Inc. Authen. Certification sheets in them...so it makes me believe that the another site is an extended arm of Dinar Trade Inc...

My BOA banker told me to stay away from the Dinar scam...

You mean that the black suburban DT delivered my last 10 mill in is the po-po :D

  12. Well the problem as I see it, you got these slim balls violating these banking and security laws allegedly. The question I have is we know Ali and now know this BH group is under investigation. They both are peddling dinar. On these certificates I have, it states that the dinar was not obtained thru illegal means. I have not bought any from BH but I have through Ali. I dont know how these dinar got in the U.S. by his firm or for that matter anybody peddeling dinar. I'm not an attorney, IMO if these firms are not following state and federal laws in dealing with this currency. Your Dinar could be contraband and be subject to confiscation by the U.S. Government, so if you trot down to that local bank with it, to cash it in. The bank keeps it turns it in to the U.S. Treasury, then your standing there with your **** in your hand. Now its up to you to prove its in the country leagally and all Taxes, licenses ect has been meet by these peddlers, then you in a major legal battle with U.S. Gov. I know I dont have the money to battle them. Their broke and they want this money. So this is the reason I use the word scam. If you sit down and think about it there are now more questions than answers in dealing with what looked to be simple fool proof investment. to make some money without much risk. Just goes to prove a point, My dad use to always tell me when I would get in a $h-t storm NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!!! Take it for what its worth! JMHO!

Ya i see your point and this was a BIG problem from 04'-07' when we where bringing it home with us from Iraq But president Bush and Sec. Rumsfeld

came for thanksgiving and a bunch of us out there cornered Rumsfeld with the problem when he was serving us dinner (no S#!T).and in 08' Bush passed a law that we could take and invest. Now since then Iraq tried to over-turn that on the cash side .But some of us out there can prove that we got ours from Iraq .

But who knows what there trying to do now .I do know its Legal to invest directly in Iraq because I have done so.

  13. Never seen that one.

I was just posting links that people have sent me when warning me away from fraud and scams.

Cool just handle your dinar your self and all will be OK no-one has a better plan to make money from this. You can either cash it out, or invest it back in and that is that . If some one tells you different they are lying ....................

This is not the $ or the Euro,or the Pound

But it will be a tradable instrument soon

    Take that to the bank.

  14. Well anit this a kick in the gonads. This whole deal maybe one big scam. Guess I will have to get co. attorney in on this, and start my investigation. I will say this, nobody twisted my arm to get involved in this deal.

Dinar is not a scam.......... BUT insider trading is a B!&%h

if somebody tells you something from a bank ,investment firm ,or securities office I would suggest you keep it to your self .............

O and pay the tax don't try to take it off shore
