I dont understand this concept of currency dealers and banks stopping the sales of the IQD regardless of what happens. Why would they stop doing their jobs and offering those services? I would like to assume that they would still conduct business as usual only with the adjusted rate.

You rarely do. the IQD is far off the beaten path for the most part. IMO their is not as many people invested as what some claim to be. IIm no expert by any means. Ill rub my magic lamp and hopefully sumon the day trader. I respect his opinion and knowledge

It's my understanding that the troops can't bring home any dinar... so, they must be exchanging prior to leaving anyway. Perhaps I am wrong about this... but I thought there was a directive in place.
Maybe not physical dinar notes. But I dont think that they can make the troops cash in for USD. I remember a rumor a few months back that they were turning in their physical currency for a credit that they can than use later in the states for IQD or USD. Note RUMOR that story was probably fabricated by the GET lost team or peoples bible. Regardless I think the troops coming home is a tremendous step in the right direction. They cant be a sovreign nation while still being occupied. Lets see what happens when parliment comes back on the 20th.

Why wouldn't they want the troops to cash in. The dinar is accounted for. Better to remain in country instead of having to pay more out to the UST. Once the troops cash out they are just one step closer to reducing the overall physical currency. IMO this happens as we are leaving and M can use this to feed his ego and make himself look like the hero. "we don't need the us or their dollar." look at what we have done with the IQD. Whether that is an RD or RV. It's a great motivation to the people and great for PR. Just my thoughts of coarse

Ok -- short and simply to the point ....
With all the rumors that fly around here (some see it as great entertainment), how are you
to know when it is 'real' or 'fake' (mostly this is the choice) ...
Anyway, here are 3 or 4 easy ways to tell if the dang dinar has Rv'd or not ...
1. Are the Dinar traders still selling Dinars ... if yes, probably hasn't Rv'd ...
2. Is there an 'official' announcement by any news source? If not, most likey we are looking a another online fantasy story
3. Has Adam or Any of the many site leaders providing positive confirmation telling that is has Rv'd and what is next????
4. IS THERE A LINK? >>> no link, no rv -- it really is just that simple!
I go through this list, and typically, rather quickly it becomes obvious to me how to rank the latest 'story'.

1. Currnecy traders are not going to stop selling currency. Do doctors stop practicing medicine when something changes with what an insurance company is going to reimburse? No its their job, Only the numbers are going to change. All this nonsense about dinar trade shutting down with tampa dinar is complete garbage. 2 IMO I dont think this will be announced all over the news like CNN or FOX. maybe al jazeera or other arab newspapers will have it but I think that will take days to filter through to the outide world. 3. Adam stated he will send out an email when he has it confirmed and that would be mostly likely throught the FOREX because that has to be the first place it will show up because it is going international. 4 Links are nonsense as well. How do you know which newspapers can be compared to the new york times or the chicago tribune and which ones are like the national inquirer or any other phony newspaper claiming alien sightings and horrible celebrity gossip.

The KWD never RV'd. Confidence was simply restored to it once we ousted saddam. I like the theory and personnaly believe it will happen once we are in "process" of leaving and with that they will be released from Ch. 7.

I really do not understand why traders could be told to stop selling. Who could tell them to stop? And why would they. If, IF, the RV is 10 cents, the price goes up, and people will run to buy the IQD before the price goes up again. Why would you stop selling when a there could be a huge surge to purchase. If the RV is $3.00, not so much.
I don't get it. Gee, other than pumpers, ours here at DV and others, are at it again. If you have not been through this cycle before, sit on your hands, read about how the pumpers move around and the stories they tell, and then make up your mind.
I just read a Bond Lady chat, which I do not quite understand, but her friend is just getting into the dinar business. So explain that.
He is getting back into the business. He was already doing it and slowed down to spend more time with his family. If if comes out low as you stated people will gobble it up in hopes that the value will go up. All this nonsense that people will all of a sudden just stop selling dinar is completely false. If your a currency trader your in the business to sell currency

I personnally think that its pretty childish that people have started threads regarding their reputation. Plus me because I am a rangers fan or cardinals or whoever. This is not a social media website(facebook, google plus) and its not all about popularity. Your reputation was ment to be a gauge on what your opinions/education level with this investment. You should get a plus for contributing by making a valid factual point. If your pro or anti LOP. If you say something intelligent or raise a good question thats when you get a plus not because your a crimson tide fan or like pickles. Its things like that, IMO that have pushed so many quality people away from this site because of all the childish behavior that some people have done. Lets keep this strictly business and continue to educate ourselves with some quality information

Don't know if this has been discussed but does anyone else think that it is odd that Tampa dinar is now offering 100 50 denoms with your purchase of 25k notes? Could it be that there sales are down because people can only be pumped so much? Or the L word. I'm curious to hear other people's thoughts on the matter.

Not. He has never been a part of the GET lost team. Night vanished a couple months ago. He has always had solid, well founded ideas that he backed with facts and articles. I dont think our rate would be that high. He clearly states the banks and the fed/treas will take a cut. Do you honestly think that you and I who own less than a few million would get the same rate as the country that bailed them out? I bet sorros and trump get a decent rate but they probably have trillions if not more

Germany did redenominate as part of the Marshall plan...they drop allowed people to exchange 10 to 1 for some currency and 1 to 1 for others.
Kuwait never lost it's official value...it was sold on the street for pennies on the dollar when Saddam occupied the country. Plus you had to be in-country to make any money on it.
The value of the IQD dropped due to hyper-inflation...due to printing too much currency. The only way to reverse that is to redenominate.
Exactly Kuwait never had a "RI" the faith was just lost in the markey after Saddam came in. And slowly eventully over time thanks to the US efforts the faith was put back into the currency and it rose slowly. All this it took kuwait 7-10 days for the new rate to show is garbage.
