    Memorial Day....A time to remember all those men and women that have served thier country, helping to keep us free. Many paying the ultimate price, making the ultimate sacrifice.

    WWI, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Desert storm I and desert Storm 2. And all of the men and woman that are currently serving,

    They are doing the things needed to keep us safe and for our continued freedom, so when you stop and consider what is Memorial Day, it;s not just a day off work, a three day weekend,

    or a excuse to have a backyard cookout and/or party, or to spend weekend at the lake. Remember the real reason and meaning of Memorial day. Remembering those that have served

    and that some of those that gave their life in the service of their country.

    I would like to say thank you and may GOD Bless each and everyone, and those that have gone on I pray that you are resting in the buxom of the Lord. So the next time you meet a veteran or active duty personnel, be sure to tell them THANK YOU and shake their hand and say a prayer for them, I never miss the chance to tell a vet thank you for your service, and I will continue to do so and not just on memorial Day, but every day. And I encourage all of you who read this to do the same.....Now can I get an AMEN.....and can I count on you!......Jeff

    P.S. I wish to extend a heart felt gratitude to each and every veteran and active duty soldier here on the boards at DV and a warm thanks to you. I wish I could shake your hand and look you in the eye, but this will have to suffice.

    Though I have no disrespect and pray for our service persons that are protecting our freedoms but Memorial Day is to Commerrate the U,S, Service person that died in Military Service, ARMED FORCES DAY AND VETERANS DAY IS TO COMMERRATE THE SERVING SERVICE PERSONS

    You know what? Give it a break, isn't what Okie is saying what we all want to happen? Why do you get such pleasure in showing he is wrong? I don't care who brings the info, if we are all here for the same reason (the RV of the IQD) then why bicker about who is right (no one yet) and who is wrong. Why don't we all just say darn I wish this guy (just like all others in this darn investment) would have been right this time? By the way there is a guy with your same screen name over at PTR that started a thread titled DONE, DONE, DONE. I find it is quite, coincidental that someone would have the exact same name. Not to mention a negative person that is all out against Okie.

    Ok anyone that has seen my posts here knows I am usually a little confused and asking others why it has not happened yet. The reason I was always down is because I have a few friends over there and try always told me it was not in the near future but everyone here seems to think it was happening every Monday for 6 months.

    Well... Those same friends on the ground in Iraq changed their tune real quick about 30 minuets ago.

    They said that they finally pushed the RV button around 8:30PM Iraq time today! I guess it Gould show up on our side when everything opens up? Don't know too much about the technical stuff but they say no doubt it is OVER and DONE!!!

    I am soooooo excited!!!

    By the way don't feel free to contact me, what you think and what you do, is non of my concern. Be negative bash Okie and anyone else. I truly don't give a hoot what you do just don't bother contacting me to gloat over still dreaming about having your CTS-V instead of owning one if only those darn Gurus had been right. Get over it and see it for what it is... the longer you gloat the longer you go without your precious car!

Yes I can put you under my ignored users but I gave you the benefit of the doubt and asked you not to feel free to contact me anymore. As I told you before I don't care what you do, who you bash or what you want. This all started because you called me an A$$ just because you thought it was your right to be one and call people names. Well this is it I am taking the high road and I am telling you to move on and be an adult because I don't live my life on rumor or the bashing done on any of these sites. MOVE ON.............

    Why would you feel guilty for wanting a better life for you and yours? You have more than others do now.....do you feel guilty about that???

    Even the poorest Americans are rich by world standards...and middle class is EXTREMELY RICH by world standards....

    Enjoy what you have now and what you may have in the future...there is no guarantee and CERTAINLY no call to feel guilty over what is (as of today) a pipe dream....so give yourself a break...

    As far as people coming into money and then all of a sudden becoming conservative with it....they won't...windfalls come and go everyday to people and a large majority of it is lost, wasted, whatever...

    Money doesn't change the person....it amplifies them ;)

    Very nice post. I would also like this to happen so I can spend my time with my son. I just want to go home and be with my son.

    I would also like it to happen so that all of the contractors and the military over here in Iraq can go home

    I have to admit that I feel a little guilty, for my reasons for wanting this RV. I want to be able to just spend all my time with my familly enjoying life and rasing my children (2) and maybe a couple more. All without the stress of financial worries,

    And I have seen on this site and others, how so many are in such desperate need, because thier situations are in dire straights. Many on the verge of losing everything, some maybe even homeless.

    Make my wants seem a little selfish.

    I hope and pray that this happens very soon, for all of those of you who need this so desperately. And I hope that this will enable a fresh start for you and everyone out there who has taken advantage of this opportunity. Hopefully a life long change of financial freedom and the ability to make time your own, instead of some employer.

    I implore you to use your blessing in a very conservative and frugal manner, so as to make it last you a lifetime, and even pass on to your future generations. Don't blow your money on unnessacary

    luxuries that soon become liabilities and drain your wealth.

  20. Reputation Rating of -100 And You're Gone

    I would like to post something and get a general concensus from my fellow members, mods and Adam. Lately on this site, negativity and flat out rudeness in delivery have been ruling the forums. I feel that it is getting to the point where people are less apt to share and be a part of a discussion because of the potential negative and obnoxious comments they may receive from a short list of disgruntled members who hide behind the guise of "simply being realistic". There are ways to get their points across without demeaning others and making them feel flat out stupid.

    Anyone who has been on this site for a short time and enjoys the interaction between themselves and their fellow investors has most likely fallen victim to this rogue team of trashers.

    I feel that there is no room in this investment for such immaturity and disrespect and would like to make a suggestion.

    The reputation rating at the bottom right hand corner of each post is there for a reason. If you agree with what that person is saying, give them credit for their perspective by clicking on the green "+" button. If you don't have an opinion either way or are unsure, go to the next post, and if you feel the post is disrespectful to this site, its members and/or this investment you may click on the red "-" button.

    In my opinion, and hopefully in the opinion of others, I feel that once a member reaches a certain negative rating, there should be consequesnces. If a member reaches a rating of -100 or even -50 i feel it is a clear indication that their reason for being here is to be disruptive and cause trouble and not to be a positive, helpful and informative part of this investment.

    What could the consequesnces be? I've come up with two possible ideas. The first one being the most obvious and that would be to ban the member from the site.

    The second would be to give the member a "Scarlett Letter" to identify them in the forums as someone who has a terrible reputation and should not be given any credit. This "Scarlett Letter" would be programmed to automatically appear in place of their avatar once their rating reaches the predetermined level. This would allow the members in the forum to easily identify the trouble makers and disregard their comments. It would also, hopefully act as a deterrent to those who may now think twice about how they respond to their fellow members.

    I hope people read this and post their thoughts in regards to it. Adam and his team have put together a great product by designing this site and I'm tired of the group of folks who feel the need to treat it and it's members with much less respect then they desrve.

    Are you annoyed you feel your mentioned in my post?

    Are you a perpetrator of some of the BS and verbal Diarrhoea that fills these walls?

    Perhaps you have a vested interest in keeping everyone in line?

    Do you say that to every person at the ball game when they say its a crappy game?

    Do you leap out of your seat and scream “Just leave then!!!!’’?

    Fortunately you’re not in a position of power because you would be dangerous I’m sure.
