  2. It's about time... They SCGS.us had taken a lot of peoples money and NEVER sent them the Dinar they paid for.

The Company's Owner was indiced by US Attorney General last week...

U.S. Attorney Brendan V. Johnson and S.D. Attorney General Marty Jackley announced that a man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for transmitting business (selling Iraqi dinars) which affected interstate and foreign commerce.

David Olmsted, age 58, of Lead, was indicted by a federal grand jury on March 15, 2011, for a total of 40 counts, for Operation of an Unlicensed Money Transmitting Business, Failure to Report on Exporting and Importing Monetary Instruments, and Unlawful Structure of Transactions to Evade Reporting Requirements. He appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Veronica L. Duffy on March 16, 2011, and pled not guilty to the indictment. The maximum penalty upon conviction on each count is five years of imprisonment and/or a $250,000 fine. The charges are merely accusations, and Olmsted is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The South Dakota Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division has received 11 formal consumer complaints and expects several more complaints to be filed within the next week. Consumers who believe they are a victim of this scam are asked to contact the Consumer Protection Division at 1-605-773-4400 or by email at consumerhelp@state.sd.us.

The case against 58-year-old online retailer Dave Olmsted of Lead is the first prosecution in the U.S. District of South Dakota for the unlicensed sale of the Iraqi currency, but officials say the investment scam has flourished throughout the country in recent years.

Olmsted was indicted on charges of operating an unlicensed money transmitting business, failure to report on exporting and importing monetary instruments and unlawful structure of transactions to evade reporting requirements.

Before his arrest March 9, Olmsted was getting Federal Express packages every day, filled with shrink-wrapped piles of dinar bills that had been smuggled out of Iraq and into Jordan, court documents say. One U.S. dollar is worth about $1,200 dinars.

Most of the $670,000 worth of dinar he’s charged with importing came from a seller in Amman, Jordan. Olmsted allegedly told agents with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service that his business had grown tenfold since 2006.

  3. I can't stop laughing on how screwed up this all is. Ten day vacations for parliment, can't agree on government, guru's, guru's and more dumb guru's. Med had the best post I have ever seen. He was honest, upset with Parliment, and totally frustrated with his people in chat. I'm going to go play modern warfare 2, take my frustration out on little kids from the U.K. biggrin.giftongue.gif
