It seems alot of the "guru's" have been coming up MIA these past few days. One would think that there would be alot of opinions would be out there.
Yeah, but somehow, this one feels different to me. I usually don't get a pang in my stomach like this, unless something is very wrong. Something feels amiss.

Today, I noticed that Breitling has not posted anything on his blogspot, but also, on another site's website (as of today), any links to Breitling have been removed (or at least I didn't see them anymore). Does anyone have any information on this? Do you care :-) ?

Well from the researched I have look for on the RV issue it does not look like it's gonna happen by June 30, 2011. What a surprise
Now I have not seen any evidence and or proof to the contrary. So now what???

The CITIUS33 is correct as it is Citibank SWIFT code in US, and has nothing to do if the money is going in or out of Warka.
Warka account is in Citibank New York and therefore that Citibank SWIFT code is used when making transfers.
Done close to a dozen transfers, never had any issues with this SWIFT code.
My bank is telling me that the Fed Wire number Warka provided to me is for Citibank, they're saying they need the routing number for WARKA, and that the "Warka Bank For Investment (8 digit) USD Account number, will not suffice. That I need a separate routing number for WARKA in Iraq apart from the Fed Wire number of 021000089? That the Swift Code given to me is not Warka routing number in Iraq, that my bank can't use that? Can anyone help? I've spoken with citibank in NY and they say they can't help me because it is an Iraqi account. I emailed Warka, but you know how that goes. Does anyone know Warka's routing number? Thank you all.

Thankfully, I received my email from Warka bank today. So, I went to my bank (not one of the big banks) to have the money wire transferred, using the Swift code provided to me by Warka.
I got a call a couple hours later from the wiring dept of my bank, informing me that the swift code I provided to them CITIUS33, was for Warka to transfer money FROM warka, not to them.
I told the bank, I just needed to have the funds wired to Citibank in NY with the USD Warka account number referenced. The bank said, they still need the correct code to transfer the money. I then asked them if it was the "Fed Wire" number, they said they weren't sure, but would get back to me tomorrow.
Does anyone know the correct SWIFT code to get the money to Citibank, what am I doing wrong? I gave my bank the only "Swift" code contained in the email I received from Warka.

I beg to differ here do most of what is on currency news hound comes from other news source like AK news out of Iraq. All you need to do is look on those other sites and find it there I have posted stuff for currency news hound and some else ends up posting similar articles form other news papers.
From my personal experience, I agree with what you say to some degree; that is, that they often times take a skeleton news story with some truth in it (as far as we can tell based on the original Arabic article) and reword it, in at least some cases, to suit what they want to say. I know this, because my son in law is Lebanese and he translates the original/source articles for me.

the real reason for the rv delay is our pres Obama. the economy is so bad he needs a big improvement. look for the rv to happen closer to the election, then he can take credit for it.,
Hey, Jamsi..if you're going to speculate on election strategies based on Pres. Obama using an RV "boosting economy" outcome as leverage for his re-election, closer to the election, think again. The real estate market keeps getting worse, and is not projected to improve for another decade at least. The unemployment rate gets worse every day, as does all situations concerning our economy. His approval rating right now is low. If it is reported as high, the people polled have been proven to be a majority of democrats (I'm an independent). So, considering all of this, and even more detrimental facts I've left out regarding our economy, if anything, Obama would want to start stimulating our economy now, especially before the Republican candidates are announced. For Obama, the sooner the RV (for economy stimulus) the better. Because the results of the RV boosting our economy are going to take time to show themselves. IMO

He is so full of S**t. I'm so appalled by the pumpers and how immoral, ruthless, unprincipled and cruel they are. How can they possibly wake up feeling good about themselves each day? There are people out there who hang on their every word, people who have late mortgages to pay (thankfully I'm no one of them), who are desperately awaiting this restructuring of the dinar. For shame!

I saw this artist today on TV. I was so moved, I had to post the above link. I just wanted to say, I'm so grateful for all of our heroes fighting for our freedom, day in, day out, no matter what conditions they find themselves in, and no matter how much they are missing their families, they keep going...FOR US. I'm totally humbled and grateful to all who have served our country, and to those who have lost their lives fighting for the people of our nation, and to their families, may God bless you all and bring peace and comfort to your hearts. My understanding is that the rate showing on the UN website, or any other website OTHER than the CBI will not reflect a new IQD rate before it is published on the CBI website. So, we need to see it on the CBI website prior to it going global/listed on any other currency related websites.

Hello, all! I really appreciate how most people on this site pull together to help each other. Based on 8 mos of research, my personal opinion is that when the RV/RD/RI happens, that the higher denom notes are going to come in around 1.00 USD. As such, I'm wondering if anyone can help me navigate the following questions:
1) If I am able to open a bank account here in the U.S. that is affiliated with a bank in Iraq, and allows me to complete transactions in USD and IQD, does it matter what denominations I have after the RD/RI/RV? If not, does this mean I will not have a timeline for cash in?
2) If I don't have a timeline for cash in as result of having an Iraq and US bank account (affiliated), then does that mean I can ride the market until the IQD increases in value?
3) Does anyone know of any banks that I might be able to accomplish this goal with? Citibank? Warka? Any suggestions? I read here, on Dinar Vets that Citibank has a division that is affiliated with Warka. Do you know if this is true, and does anyone have personal experience accomplishing any of the tasks I've discussed here? I'm having difficulty finding actual verification and thorough info. within this section, as to how to do this

Thanks everyone for your help and advice. I love this site. I contacted Chase today and when I asked them if I could exchange my dinar/higher denoms for lower, they said, "Chase does not accept the Iraqi Dinar". I said, "thanks." and hung up.
