  1. The Arlington thing is good. I grew up around there. Matter of fact the far end of the stadiun sits about where my high school science teacher lived. He didn't want to sell from what I hear.

But the cruise sounds more relaxing. It will take a couple days to get there. But I will have a party with my neighbors before I head out. Nothing like a couple pigs roasting on an open fire. For Somboon and his gang we will have some roasted field rat. Sounds worst than it is. Taste kinda like chicken. Then Yatu and that side of the village a couple roasted dogs. And those don't taste like chicken at all. Then some Tilapia and Toptin from my own pond. About 30 fried and another thirty steamed and stuffed with lemon grass. It will be a big bash. Might even butcher a cow.

No insects at this party. We have to keep it civilized.

Then I will pay off a lot of their debts. They make about $3 a day.

Then I'll head out to meet the rest of ya. Might even bring a freind.

  2. I might have missed this somewhere, probably over the rainbow. If Iraq is selling oil in US$ why do they have to RV in such a hurry.

    1. Balancing the budget doesn't matter. They can always pay it off in the future by selling more oil or after the RV.

    2. Debts and other expenses can be paid with US $ from the oil.

I want some constructive comments on this. I know they have to RV and tomorrow sounds good to me but I don't see 'why' it has to be now.

Except to help the Iraqi national. But those in the Green Zone are looking for their best interest.

I will be in my little office..........

  3. K98nights,

This is a good find. I got word from a friend of this banker guy that knows this guy and I am talking ‘sandals on the ground’ that one of these guys is a far relative of ole Sabi at the bank of Iraq. He was mistakenly picked up. He has the combination of the safe that has the key to the clock that starts the count down for the RV. The problem is part of the paper that had the combination on it is pretty worn and the ink has run. As soon as he gets back they will start trying to figure out those two ,shoot, maybe it was three, numbers. No bash’en this is honest truth. Just ask Okie

Boy, I just wasted two minutes of my time and yours………….I spent too much time sitting around getting nothing done.

    K98nights,

joking aside keep up the good work.

  4. Mortar attack aimed at the Green Zone in central Baghdad

It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister nouri Al-Maliki, confirmed yesterday, Monday, in a speech he delivered during the week that the agricultural, Iraq has become the country's first "stable" in the region, after it was the first country to export security confusion to the states of the region, pointing out that the Iraqi people are capable of the advancement in the process of building and reconstruction.

I would still like to know Al Maliki's definition of "stable"

It could help on pinpointing when this here RV is going to happen.

  5. I've been watching the debt clock since Bush was in office. http://www.usdebtclock.org/ It was terrible before, but now it's crazy stupid debt.

Moreover, we need someone in leadership that is powerful and strong in economy and business to assist pulling us out of the mess the politicians (past and present) have created. And to think they're supposed to have a good education. I know they're mandated to study economics....or maybe they were all just walking around in a green fog....you know....weed on the brain. UGH!!!

I really don't think the American people as a whole what to tighten the belt to take care of the problem.

Of course I could be wrong ....and it could be the rowdy minority getting their way.

  6. Dear Johnny

Well, I really don’t know what to say. I do know that you are missed and must have shown something very special to have a friend willing to introduce us to you.

Frosty says you were a member here and a very close friend. We didn’t get the chance to know you. Wish we could have but that is one of those things that isn’t always up to us. Sure wish you could have been around at least to see the RV. On the other hand, that just doesn’t seem that important now. Family would rather have you back than any RV. They are the ones with the aches and pains now.

It sounds like you were a fighter, not willing to give up for those you love. From the time your buddies got to you and then to Germany must have seemed like ages. It is peaceful now though.

We will put your family down on our prayer list.

No, Johnny, this isn’t some sentimental thing.

We have a prayer list with things and people we pray for daily and those that are weekly. We know they need strength to carry on even though there might be times they really don’t want to.

And Johnny Smith, we look forward to meeting you sometime in the near future. I’ll be looking you up.

    God bless you Buddy

And thanks to you Frosty. Your on our list too……………

  7. Why don't you tell that to the Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio democrat cowards that left the state to avoid a bill passed by ELECTED Officials.

Just like everything else, YOU DEMOCRATS are say one thing and do another.

NO ONE new that change was a change to Socialism.

It's almost time to make all you Democrats pay for your lies.

Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012, you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home etc. When did this happen??.

SALES TAX TO GO INTO EFFECT 2013 (Part of HC Bill)

    REAL ESTATE SALES TAX

So, this is "change you can believe in"??

Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax? The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes.

    Kenneth,

You missed my point but I can see why.

    1. "You Democrats" did not put the democrats in. It was republicans and independents. Ask your freinds. Even here at Dinar Vet

    2. I myself am not a democrat . Have not voted for a democrat since mid 80's

    3. 18 of the last 21 years I have lived overseas. In the last 10 years we have had electricity, We still get water from a mountain stream 3/4 of a mile from our house. Cell phone works 30% of the time in the village. 5 years ago no phone service what so ever. No other phones. Internet 20 minutes away. We are in the process of moving into a big city. I will miss the country life. The point is - I knew where 'we' the American people were headed. If someone didn't know where the dems wrer taking us - they had their head in the sand because they wanted it there.

    4. If I remember right, This tactic was first used by the democrats in Texas. My guess is 6 years ago.

    5. Those who carry the biggest stick doen't always win. Usually, those that raise the most cane do. It is the Unions and their supporters that do. If you disagree with the dems don't join a union.

    6. Demorats and Republicans have the same problem, It is a character issue.

    7. My point is 'we' the American people get what we vote for. This started before I was even born and has steam rolled the last 20 years because of who 'we' put into office.

    8. Clinton, Gore, Pelose, and a whole lot more showed us what the Dems agenda was 8 years ago.

    9. We have to think before we write or vote.

    10. Have a nice day

  8. 1. Buy life insurance on those that owe me money and then......

    2. Write a book on how to love your enemies and those that owe you money.

    Just kidding, Man

    Seriously

I have a list of people from Junior High up for gifts.

    1 increment of 100,000.oo

    5 at 20,000.oo

    The rest at 10,000.oo

    and a few at 5,000.oo

And I still have 20,000.oo out of the million to decide on.

I have been helped and have many good freinds. It will be pay back time.

By the way my parents ran away from home when I was 13.

  9. Does not really concern me, the Saudi royals will squash any attempt to disrupt their society. They have all US equipment and LOADS of it as well. The thing that concerns me is what is or has become the driving force to all these uprisings in the ME? Is it on Facebook or Twitter? Who is really behind all this unrest? Iran, The Muslim Brotherhood whom? I know to many of you the situation is deteriorating by the hour, to some sense I can see your view. I would not PANIC there are allot of assets in and within the regions to rapidly respond to any of our allies requests for assistance, no what concerns me in all of this is whom is really stirring the pot? JMO. Peace.

BanG, Good question. Democracy and Islam is like salt and slugs. They don't last long together.
