keepm, I don't disagree with what you're saying, but several months ago you gave an exact date of an RV. Then several weeks ago you said it wasn't going to happen. I just don't understand the waffling.

Newbie, been buying dinar since March 2010.
I agree that they may not have to RV within the next 2 days. But we know they will RV in the near future that's the reason you and I are investing in Dinar. I wouldn't be too negative or have my hope up so high. I don't want to be very disapointed. All I know in my heart it will RV for the better rate. Date and time is isn't a concern for me. Don't get me wrong. Would love to see it happen by the EOY. We all know that the Kuati situation will happen again. We all don't want to miss the boat again.

Anyone who states that Iraq has to RV by the end of this year whether it be Paris aggreement or any other is flat wrong. Any person who suggests there is any such deadline is lying to you. There are no deadlines either self imposed or from foreign entities like IMF, WTO, or WB to RV by the eoy. People who suggest otherwise should be ignored just like those who suggest any rate over 1.00, it simply isn't going to happen.
I would also like to add that anyone who says that an RV is inevitable because they need to so they have a tradeable currency in order to draw foreign investors, nonsense. It would probably help but it isn't neccessary. Iraq has oil, a lot of oil, they will always have money because of it.

its bad & frustrating enough coming onto this forum to read about rumors & speculations of the RV & will it or will it not happen soon. im here waiting on financial freedom and the anxiety is killing me. i know im not the only one losing sleep....

I was just making small talk since we are all waiting for the big news. Someone said I think of things as 'glass half empty'.
I say to him that he should go read my website about me. I started as a full blown NOBODY and had a dream and an idea that I wanted to be in TV shows or movies. Even though I lived over 2000 miles from L.A. I never quit trying to live my dream.
And I DID IT TOO! BIG TIME! I am living out my dream. I didn't just sit around and wished. This week alone I have been in the news in the UK, Ireland, Venezuela, Macedonia, Japan, Bosnia And HAVE links to prove it.
Guys, I believe in this adventure as much as anyone, but always have a 'plan B'. heck in my case I had a B - C and D
I hope we are all sunning our selves in southern skies and waters soon.
But don't take all of this too personal or serious. There's nothing we can really do as a group until we hear the news.
Let's try to be buddies and kind to each other until we are rich and can afford to be snobs.

It's sorta crazy how personal people take simple questions/opinions on these forums. DeadGuy, don't take it personal but it is funny that you got a couple minuses so I threw a plus your way. Not really sure what the hell that even means but it is sorta funny. I took the question as a way to make us think or even dream about the possibilities of this coming to fruition and hear what other people have on their minds. So I say jump in and share what your plans are with everyone. I know one thing I'm planning on. I asked my girl the other day where she would like to go if she and I could run off somewhere for a few days (she has no idea what investments I even have and plan on keeping it a nice surprise if she happens to be THE ONE) and she said Macchu Picchu in Peru. So if this pans out I'm booking a trip for us after we get a lot of our more important fitness competitions out the way next year. I always wanted to see that place too!!!!
My 1st big trip will be Dubai...
after i tear up 5th ave here in NYC and lace myself with the finest Gucci, Armani, D&G, Burberry, etc...
then hit up Miami Beach before Dubai.... well not before i get that black M6...

The president of the Iraqi List, Iyad Allawi, yesterday, Saturday, to the UAE on a visit unannounced, leaving the security ministries crisis without a solution.
An official source from within the Iraqi List, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the President of the Iraqi List, arrived yesterday to the United Arab Emirates to discuss with its leaders the latest developments in the formation of the Iraqi government.
The source confirmed that a Kurdish businessman Akram Zangana one of the main characters that accompany him on his visit, amid a crisis not resolve the security ministries.
The source confirmed that Allawi is still sticking to their candidate through to the post of Defense Minister cleft Captain amid objections by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, which emphasizes the sources informed that he would like to keep the former minister Abdul-Qader al-Obeidi, which threatens the existence of another crisis between the list and Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in the coming days
