I was in for Adam's chat and asked a question, what I got back was not a dignified reply. I don't think this is right calling some one a fool just because they have not gotten arround to reading some thing as of yet. It was a lop/redenomination....which ever term you prefer to use.....but it did allow the exchange rate to rise once it was completed.....

It does not mean necessarily the value of the 25k, but what bill is the largest denomination. Don't freak and read something into this that may not be there!

Central Bank of Iraq, Thursday, for his willingness to delete the zeros of the Iraqi currency, and as he emphasized that this step is one of the strategic functions of the Bank, pointed out that the new currency will contain on the Kurdish language in addition to Arabic.
The adviser said the Iraqi Central Bank Governor appearance of Mohammed in an interview for "Alsumaria News", "zeros are added to the Iraqi currency during the last period, formed a cluster of large cash $ 28 trillion and 500 billion Iraqi dinars, nearly five trillion banknote," noting that "Bank created all the supplies for the deletion of zeros from the currency."
Saleh added that "the process is one of the strategic functions of the Central Bank of Iraq," adding that "monetary policy of the Bank based on the structure and reduce the volume of currency in a country moving to the stage of the economy."
Salih stressed that the "project to delete the zeros have been completed and will be presented to the management of the Central Bank of Iraq during its next meeting, and then will be submitted to the Council of Ministers to be presented to the House of Representatives for a vote," pointing out that "the mechanisms of switching and changing the currency would gradually be preceded by awareness campaigns to citizens. "
He added that the benefit of "the new currency that will be printed after the deletion of zeros will contain the Kurdish language in addition to Arabic, as well as some pictures that refer to the heritage and civilization of Iraq and symbols of Iraqi scientists and intellectuals."

First things first, I am not going to say how much dinar I have in my possession. However, what I will say is that I have less than 1,000,000. Can someone please clear up all this hype/confusion about the cash in procedure under this new law?
If the rate comes out low, like i think it will, my post RV amount will not accumulate 1mil USD. I would need the rate to be over $2 to even come close. So can someone please tell me in laymen terms what my options are?

OK Adam said it won't effect you if it doesn't make you investment over 1,000,000 USD you will just have more paperwork to do when cashing out. remember you had your dinar before this law was passed so you will be able to cash out.

Phoenix posted his take on DV,
and then spoke about it on his Talk Radio show last night.
In summary, he basically said the law is a good thing because there will be a billion jealous people, relatives, and neighbors that want to duplicate what they just saw with the IQD RV after they see the effects of it.
He thinks this will put a stop to a bunch of copycat wannabees and the scammers who would prey on them on the internet after the RV.

I every went and really read this you would see it has to do with our government and wall street bailouts it has nothing to do with Iraqi dinars. I has to do with our owe stock market and government funding to bankrupt business.

In your chat on the 15th, you stated that a full GOI was not required for the RV. UN Resolution 1483 is clear (paragraphs 20-22 specifically) that "the establishment of an internationally recognized, representative government of Iraq" is one of requirements for Iraq to emerge from the resolution and ultimately Ch 7 of the Charter of the UN.
Do you mean to say that the RV is not dependent on Iraq emerging from Ch 7? I just want to be clear, as IMO, the removal of sanctions would grant Iraq sovereignty and the ability to more freely make decisions regarding their currency. That, coupled with the expiry of the DFI, make for a pretty compelling case for Iraq to step out into the international stage both politically and financially.
Or, am I making a connection here that's not in line with the intent of your statement?

I see where you have down they need full GOI to get out of chapter 7, they can't RV until they get out of chapter 7. so its not need for RV makes no sense but if you look at it its not directly part of the RV its a sub- part of the RV do to chapter 7.

I wanted to thank you to all of those who have been friendly here on DV, No I am not going anywhere. Now on to my Opinion yes I said OPINION. With all the latest news it makes me think we have a window of June 23 to July 1 for the RV to come to light. Now I could be wrong by a couple of days give or take, But with all the latest news I have read it makes me feel we are knocking on the door of the RV. So lets keep are excitement to a low roar until we have our money in the bank thing could change very rapidly on us in a bad way but lets hope not it looks as if things are speeding up for us.

Some argue that the country is in crisis is not to complete formation of the government and the survival of the security ministries vacant, in addition to the security file is escalating pace as in Baghdad and a number of other provinces in which they are targeting the security officers and government officials. <----This tells me that they are in a hurry now due to the violence on Parliment and House members and other high ranking officers to get those ministers seated and keepthe civil unrest to a minimun!!

Does this mean its done or is there a vote coming next week?
The way I see it is the vote is done maybe they will be announcing it next week. I hope I read that right.
