    Im on the ground in Iraq and yes LD's are being used on the local economy but no one really cares for it. Everything out here is whole dollar set value. There is no 19.99 sale prices like you see at walmart... is $20 USD or about 21,000 Dinar. The 1,000 is the lowest people wanna use. I have had 500's given to me in change and even a few 50s. No one wants them.

    Also the talk on the TV is vague and if the dinar is mentioned its mentioned in passing. Nothing critical or substantial.

    If there was something substantial I would def post something because I would be packing getting ready to pop-smoke back to the states to see my beautiful girlfriend.

    If any other of our presidents had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

    If any other of our presidents' administrations had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?

    If any other of our presidents had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

    If any other of our presidents had created the position of 32 Czars who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America, would you have ever approved.

    If any other of our presidents had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

    So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 21 months -- so you have at least that much time to come up with an answer.

    In this topic I threw a secernaio out asking what the thoughts were on the possibilities were that -

    1) Iraq could be in bed with China (so to speak) and that if they didn't RV that it may be possible for them to buy oil without paying world market prices.

    2) Since China would not RV their money (read it was under valued by 35%) and keep buying the US debit up that it had the feds upset & maybe Iraq had moved to their team.

    This topic was moved. Not sure where it was it was moved to or why.

    If it was the wording thaI was used or what. Didn't mean offense and hope none was taken. If so I am sorry;however, I woul like to hear other's thought on these subjects.

    I have often wondered the same thing. I am beginning to believe they are in bed with China (so to speak). Belive I read some where that China's money was undervalued 35%.

    Is this correct?

    One way or the other just look at the mess we are in because the FED 's have their panties all in a bunch because China won't revalue and instead keep buying up our debit.

    If they are able to buy oil from Iraq without having to pay world prices they will be much better off.

    Is this way off base? Whadda u think?
