  1. I agree 100% percent truthful1.

It may not always be what we all want to hear but it's honest & factual.

A/C is the only one Ive ever heard who has almost always been correct. He told people it wont happen in 2010, and people defiled him because they didnt want to hear the truth.

This guy is at least honest.

It seems you all love to hear its happening tomorrow, even though it isnt. Does it make you feel better inside??

I like honest, upfront, straight talk.................I dont like to be fluffed everyday. I dont need some silly rumor to make me feel better everyday. Leave the guy alone.

  2. American Contract*r is NOT a paid source. That is complete BS! AC has no reason or motive to discourage ANYONE. He is simply stating the FACTS.

You are following someone who is misleading you with false information. Also, he also does NOT consistently bad mouth the investment.

He simply tries to open the eyes of those who are getting too caught up in the lies of those who are TRULY MISLEADING YOU!

    Open your eyes!!!!!

FYI, NO ONE KNOWS WHETHER AC IS AN INVESTOR OR NOT! THIS BREITLING GUY DOES NOT KNOW HIM OR ANYTHING ABOUT HIM!

I just got this in an email:

Breitling's latest call: He informs us that the so-called AC, who is not an investor in the IQD, consistently bad mouths the investment, and should be not be trusted. He is probably a paid source of disinformation. There are a lot of people out there who want to shake us out of this investment before it pays off. In late March when I was in my accountant's office in Clearwater, turning in my yearly financial information, I learned that he, too, was heavily invested in IQD. He knew all the arguments why this investment is for real, starting with Bush/Cheney's plans a half dozen years ago, the Executive Order legalizing American citizens' ownership of IQD, the US government's heavy stake in IQD, and the multitude of reasons why Iraq needs a powerful currency that reflects their mineral wealth and economic potential. That gave me a big smile. (My new neighbor from Detroit is also a Dinarian.) Go dinar!

  3. inheritance- I think you're not understanding what Casper is trying to say here. This post by AC is discussing the fact that the new Iraqi dinar has not been printed as of yet. That's what the discussion is about. We're addressing the topic. No one's referring to any lower denoms.

Actually you are wrong the lower denominations have been produced. Investigate and you will find that they were made with the lager denominations.

  4. :twothumbs: Good point! Well put, I fully agree.

What I do believe is that the new Iraqi dinar has not been printed as the American Contr*ctor has stated. When it is, there will be pictures & proof provided. I am SURE of this. When there is proof that something exists people are quick to show it. Enough said.

  5. I totally agree with you. And will add, I'm not buying his story for one minute. I've bought both from him & another dealer in CT who is very reliable. I've always thought this guy was shady and all that bull about opening cash in places....etc....never bought it for one minute. He sold all his dinar to everyone who he could string in and took the money & ran. He knows what's around the corner. Betcha everyone will see a big drop in pumping dinar sales now that he's out of business. Now we just have the others that are left.

I agree and the whole thing sounds quite Bernie Madoff to me.

I bought my Dinars from a bank so I'm not concerned and I'm no expert but it seems he could be taking off because maybe he knows a LOP (or something else) is coming. Now he has a legit business so by no means am I implying that he screwed folks (although I can't see why folks don't go to a bank to buy their Dinars, hell I only paid a $10.00 fee to get mine) but to each his own.

Think about this folks, this story could give him just enough time to get out while folks are feeling sorry for him and trying to "figure it out". Now I hope that it is true (and I would feel bad if the threats are real, I wouldn't wish that on anyone and wish him and his family the best).

There's bad folks in the world and I can imagine there's a line a mile long with folks trying to swindle folks like us that think we're going to be overnight millionaires.

Just something to think about. I came into this investment with dreams of hitting it big but have enough sense to know that if I got even a $0.01 RV I would be plenty happy with that.

    Not so. A rumor.

He says that he wont be selling any dinar, but i heard he was buying them, can someone confirm?

  6. Took the words right out of my mouth. Thanks for clarifying that!

According to Shabibi, the past documents of the CBI, as quoted by AC here as having been a desire to overcome the hyper inflation of "the last several years".

The terms have implemented something they have wanted to do introduce the past tense, which indicates it is not a current problem.

However, that trend could reverse itself.

If Maliki has 33 days before a vote of no confidence, his past performance shows a good possibility of him waiting 34 days to announce that he will start the review....

  7. I agee with what you're saying. Let's focus on the positive's in the newsletter. In the past they had hyper-inflation, could've just been a typo, that's trivial.

Forget about nit picking the hyper-inflation remark, how about the fact that he has access to those reports!!!!! Now, that's what I"M TALKING about!

  8. Hey. That's just the way things look around there. They don't do meetings like we do here in the States.

Look how they're living on a daily basis. Can't really expect much more than that.

those pics look like they were taken at saturday night bingo at the VFW down the street and isn't IBC a brand of root beer?.... just sayin.....

AC is short for Amer. Contractor. Had to abreviate the 'American' (they block it out here when joining the two words together, not really sure why).

So uh, forgive my ignorance but . . . what's AC?

  9. As I previously mentioned in a separate post, it was given to me by a co-worker. I posted what was emailed to me.

The post provided the link so others could go to the site & read it themselves if they wanted. Feel free to post the rest if you want.

    SMathews

Why didn't you put the rest of the article in? As you continue to read, it clearly states, on the other hand that much currency in circulation wouldn't matter. They've set up mechanisms to deal with large amounts of currency through Electronic banking....

    Slum Dame.

  10. Your Welcome. A friend shared this with me this morning at work since they know that I am an investor. I'm trying to stay grounded.

I hate to buy into this, but I have to say it makes sense, I will never give up on my investment, but I have become less hopeful that something really great os going to happen....Thanks for the post....

  11. Not really a rumor but decided to post it here due to the high traffic

    http://www.iraq-businessnews.com/2011/04/20/redenomination-and-the-spinal-tap-fallacy/

Redenomination and the Spinal Tap fallacy

Posted on 20 April 2011. Tags: Banking & Finance, iraqi dinar, Redenomination

Fans of the “rockumentary” This is Spinal Tap will recall the scene where the band’s guitarist explains that his amplifiers are louder because their volume knobs “go to eleven.” When asked why this is different from having ten as the highest setting, he simply repeats “these go to eleven.”

Most of us have no trouble understanding that changing the units used to measure something does not change the character of the thing being measured.

A day doesn’t get longer if you keep track of time in minutes instead of hours, four quarts isn’t more than one gallon, and paying for something in pennies instead of dollars doesn’t make it more expensive.

Yet somehow people continue to claim that a redenomination of the Iraqi currency will have important economic effects. (See this story.) Replacing all the dinars currently in circulation with new ones at a rate of 1,000 to one, thereby “knocking off three zeros,” is supposed to reduce the money supply, for example. Instead of the commercial banks holding 27 trillion dinars as central bank reserves, they will “only” have 27 billion.

People won’t have to carry as much money once all the thousand dinar bills have been replaced by one dinar bills. And so on.

It would obviously be ridiculous to insist that an amp that “only” goes to ten would be softer than one that “goes to eleven.”

Isn’t the claim that it matters how many zeros there are on a bank note an example of the same fallacy?

  12. Got ALL the PROOF I need. He posted the phone nuber on the bottom of the latest newsletter. I called, he picked up, we talked, NUFF SAID!!!

do you have any prove that he is in iraq, beside he said so many things in the past and he was wrong.

    TOTALLY AGREE!

All I can say is that this guy has bee posting for years and is one of the few guys actually THERE in Bagdad. It put SOME weight into what he says more than all the long distance gurus we get garbage from.

  13. I called Amer. Contractor too. Took me a bit to figure out that international number at the bottom of the newsletter but I got through and low & behold he answered.

Nice guy, very approachable. Didn't chat too long, busy guy. But yeah, in Iraq no doubt!

    Jim,

you just have to be careful who is talking and this Steve guy has no cred if you know wht I mean or that Ray guy..

I called...America*n C*ontractor on his cell...and he is adamant that shabs is still in iraq...

  14. "During a recent private meeting, in which I attended, the Iraqi

currency was addressed. The Dinar currency will be going through

restructuring in terms of specifications and shapes. When this

transpires, both the existing currency and the new currency will be

in circulation at the same time. That's right. One will not be

taken out beforehand. Also discussed was the previously mentioned

topic of the 100,000 dinar bank note. It appears that talks are

still on the table in regards to this topic. The idea has not been

    flushed out."

  15. This may be a little off topic for the subject that originally started this thread but this thread appears to be all over the place anyway.

Just adressing the post(s) discussing the wishing there could be an outing of those who give (-) marks....

Which I might add, can't be done.

That option is available on this site and people are going to take advantage of it as long as it's available to them.

I for one, am not a coward to report that I regularly use it (just like everyone else here, just like the administration, as well as the mods).

    It's there, why not?

If there is a poster with whom I agree with, I give them a nice (+). Same as if I disagree, I give a (-) and I used them both up for the day on this one thread.

    No coward here.

  16. $200 bucks! Is that what that thing costs!

What a racket! I think I'll just save myself $200 and forget about being VIP.

Not going to pay extra for rumors that never happen. I'm already getting that for free.

People are so fast to pick up the pitchfork and torches and label every single person to pass on information a "PUMPER" but for some odd reason they don't mind the 200$ that gets pulled right out of their pockets so that they can be a VERY IMPORTANT PERSON... <_< Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing I always say.

  17. AMER. CONTRACTOR IS CORRECT.

I'm going to have to 'call you out' on this one troyster1100.

Not sure why didn't didn't post the full Article 110.

You somehow left out the part where Amer. Contractor posted about.

    Article 110:

The federal government shall have exclusive authorities in the following matters:

First: Formulating foreign policy and diplomatic representation; negotiating,

signing, and ratifying international treaties and agreements; negotiating, signing,

and ratifying debt policies and formulating foreign sovereign economic and trade

    policy.

Second: Formulating and executing national security policy, including

establishing and managing armed forces to secure the protection and guarantee

the security of Iraq’s borders and to defend Iraq.

Third: Formulating fiscal and customs policy; issuing currency; regulating

commercial policy across regional and governorate boundaries in Iraq; drawing

up the national budget of the State; formulating monetary policy; and establishing

    and administering a central bank.

Fourth: Regulating standards, weights, and measures.

first i included the articles of the constitution which do talk about the cbi. then i listed article 110 which has absolutly nothjing to do with finance. furthermore the articles that do refer to the central bank are at odds kinda but i report you decide.dry.gif

  18. I'm in total agreeance with you!

I've noticed that plenty of times and I think it's pretty lousy.

Don't let that sway you from posting though. Those negatives (-) and plus sign's (+) don't hold much weight with me.

I cant figure some people out. I post a newsletter that has gathered numerous posts and I get a negative. Its not my post on thoughts people, but someone elses.

    Never shoot the messenger.

  19. INCORRECT.

I just went back and referenced his last posting and in fact, he mentions only that it

may be postponed, never that it was never going to occur. He wasn't wrong.

AC also said that the elections last Thursday would not happen. Notice how when he is dead arse wrong, he just ignores it and moves on to more negativity.

  20. I'm not going to address any of these posts or information as positive or negative as

I truly believe only time will tell so I am in agreeance with you to just use the 'watch & see approach'.

Apparently those other guys are lying.

    Only time will tell.

  21. I completely agree. Amer. Contractor never said that the Government would not be in place by those dates.

No one is going to be able to provide a link stating that. It was never written or said.

Don't understand why people keep making things up or misquoting.

Show me where AC says that a Government will not be

in place by 2011 or 2012?????

I have read the last 6 posts from AC blog and no where

does he even mention that..........for all please show me!!!!!!!!

    have a link?????
