The idea that you would need a receipt for a currency is a silly, silly one. How in the world could they possibly even ask for something so ridiculous. I bought mine IN THE ME, now how do you suppose i get a receipt from Ahmed the currency trader on the cornish. And even if you did have a receipt what would that prove. This whole Idea is just a ploy to get you to buy from a particular dealer that gives receipts to make you feel better about yourself.....there is simply no truth to it.

You know i thought this post would be the same as most the other rumors out there until i saw something that made me smile. the term "same same" , any one who has spent anytime at all in the ME would recognize this as almost as common as En Shah Allah, or Bokra Bada Bokra. Im not saying the rumor turns out but it sure leeds to some credibility for me.

Lets put it this way, I don't know him personally but i know for a fact that he is an outright liar. If that offends anyone, sorry the truth is he has lied so many times there is no other word for it. you can sugar coat it if you want by saying "rumor" but there is a difference between " I heard someone say...." and " its done , nuff said" one is a rumor and the other is a lie. simple really

Okie gives people who refuse to see things for what they really are some thing to believe in. its really that simple, he tells people what they want to hear. I don't think a single sane person believes anything that comes out of his mouth ( or off his keyboard). And if they do, then they need help.

To be honest I think the only reason you hear this is it drives more business to dealers, I bought mine over seas in the ME do you think i have a receipt? NO, and i dont care the IRS is not going to be that harsh when and IF this actually does come about. currency NEVER has a receipt and why would they expect one. again this is just a sales tactic used to funnel more business to the dealers who by the way are getting several hundred dollars per million profit off each exchange.

Eh - there may be other future banking opportunities in the near future (see Citibank)
I have not gone this route, but if a bigger bank that is US recognized, it may become a more feasible route.
The ISX is a gamble, but could reap high yields
Better than sitting on hard currency that maintains 1170 rate for years.. At least through a bank account or ISX you can watch the value change (Hopefully up in value)
well I bought mine in the ME in 05, I have doubled my money thus far. Which by the way is the bellwether for an investment double every 7 years.

Meanwhile, the CBI will continue to keep its policy interest rate positive in real terms. This is either a mistake by the original poster (whoever they are from PD) or a gross misrepresentation (lie). The problem Sir is that what you seem to forget is that sure you can make plenty of money.... but you cant do it being a physician, or a lawyer, or a broker or a professor. Because they all require an education. make sure the next time your sick or need to file a deposition you go see larry ellison, or any of the other self made men. It is true that there are trades going on now , but the iqd was not a paired currencey on the international market. I do not think it RV'd but am also a bit curious as to what will transpire come opening of banking on Monday. If nothing happens Monday and no news conference stating anything significant then it will be time for me to stop monitoring this site all together, put the dinar in the safe and forget about it!

I don't know who this fella is but I could not agree more, I have in the past been called negative about this investment...I choose to call it cautious . Further more if I were in charge of the Iraqi monetary system you could bet I would lop then RV it makes perfect fiscal sense.....for Iraq.

For what purpose do you feel it necessary to rain on everyone's parade? Did you see the historic information coming out of the UNSC this morning? Are you aware that Iraq is entering into an area where they actually rule themselves? I don't get it.
Some miserable people are only happy when they are making others miserable to join in their misery. So Mr. Pilgrim, I suppose you are just such an individual. Mostly, I pray your negative, nothing good post doesn't affect those that are waiting patiently for whatever God has in mind for us.

I think people are missing the point of my original post, I truly want to point out the FALSE assumption that was put out by many a guru that: A rv must happen BEFORE ch7 could be lifted, some one needs to tell "plugs" Biden cause they did it anyway. By the way I still think it will happen, just goes to prove gurus are their own biggest fans.
