  1. Rumor has it the budget needs to be done , and the HCL still isn't complete ! I know the budget was released earlier this month but not with the rate we want , the budget must have the new rate , that wiil activate the hundreds of contracts that have been collecting dust for a while now! I've read elsewhere part of the HCL is the census , hasn't been done yet . It is Iraq , everything could be done , then it might take a while longer who knows. HOPEFULLY THIS YEAR!!!!! GO RVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Even though I have only been on this site for a month or so, I've lost count of how many times someone has come here claiming they know the date and or rate. Again, it has been "this Monday" (oops, guess not), "next Thursday" (gee, I was so sure), "72 hours", "24 -48 hours", Dec 15. Everyone seems to claim that their source of information is accurate. Some have even said "from Intel themselves."

Now you come here with a date/time and rate. So did it happen, as you said? If it didn't then you lose credibility.

Anyone who wants others to trust them when they make such predictions needs to read "The Sky is Falling." It's a children's fable about making predictions based on unjustified speculations.

This post is meant for the LOST on here , as seen above!!!!

People on every site have stated a date and rate only to be wrong!! Some do it for attention , some do it just to share their opinion!! Either way freedom of speech entitles them to do so , just as it entitles you to show how clueless you really are. If you would read the post from beginning to end you would see first , I am not the author , (Eagle Has Landed is ) , there is also no rate or date mentioned!! As for my credibility , I just share what I find to be worth sharing , if you don't find it worth reading then STOP reading! I'm not trying to get a certain # of posts to gain status , ( i don't care ), I originally joined to learn about IQD and post RV investments, but I see this is quickly becoming the wrong site for that!!! The RV will happen when it happens , that has been and will be my stance for a date , the rate will have to be a surprise. There are a lot of newbies getting on here being smarta$$es , your not going to get any answers to your ???? by turning people against you right out of the gate.... you may not get any answers at all because the people who used to come on here and share a wealth of info got tired of being censored and bashed. So they went and started another site , that is why good info is almost always from another site.

  3. Everyone , after looking at most of the other sites I found the post originated from Eagle Has Landed , he is connected to another site called ( don't promote other sites ) maybe they won't edit it. Like I said before , I don't want credit for the post , just thought it was worth sharing!!!

The name got blocked , check my profile for the name of the site!!!

  4. I will second this. The author presents info with good reason for not full reveal. Who's your source?

Like it says at the top of the page in big blue letters , another site , another author , don't know who his source is. Honestly I don't care if his source is Mickey Mouse , I thought it was good enough to share with others. I could copy the link to the site but if your not a member of the site you would not be able to see the post. Then people would complain the link doesn't work. Take it for what it's worth!!

  5. icon1.gifUN lifts key sanctions against Iraq movie.gifBy EDITH M. LEDERER, Associated Press Edith M. Lederer, Associated Press – 24 mins ago

UNITED NATIONS – The U.N. Security Council gave a unanimous vote of confidence Wednesday to the significant strides Iraq has taken by lifting 19-year-old sanctions on weapons and civilian nuclear power.

The council also decided to return control of Iraq's oil and natural gas revenue to the government next summer and to settle all remaining claims over the controversial oil-for-food program, which helped ordinary Iraqis cope with sanctions imposed after Saddam Hussein's army invaded Kuwait two decades ago.

Although some sanctions will remain in place until Iraq and Kuwait settle outstanding issues from that war, Wednesday's vote was a major step to restore Iraq's international standing a year before the U.S. is to pull its last troops out of the country. It came a day after a power-sharing agreement ended a lengthy deadlock on forming a new Iraqi government.

Vice President Joe Biden, who presided over the meeting, told the council the move marked "an important milestone for the government of Iraq and people of Iraq in their ongoing effort to leave behind their troubled past and embrace a much brighter future."

"The three resolutions we've passed bring an end to the burdensome remnants of the dark era of Saddam Hussein," he said.

Biden's presence was a sign of the importance the Obama administration gave to the largely symbolic vote. The U.S. holds the Security Council presidency this month.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said the adoption of the resolutions "marks the beginning of the end of the sanctions regime and restrictions on Iraq's sovereignty, independence and recovery."

"Our key focus has been to unburden Iraq from the heavy legacy of non-compliance with international law and to break its isolation and regain its rightful place among the community of nations," he told the council.

The council expressed confidence in Iraq's commitments to nonproliferation by lifting sanctions against acquiring weapons of mass destruction or pursuing a civilian nuclear power program.

Iraq's constitution bars the country from acquiring weapons of mass destruction, and Baghdad is a party to most of the main nuclear, chemical, biological and missile treaties.

The council had said in February that it would lift the ban on Iraq's use of civilian nuclear power after it ratified several additional international treaties along with a protocol that allows the International Atomic Energy Agency to carry out unannounced inspections.

Iraq has not done so, mainly because of the failure to form a new government. On Wednesday, the council urged Iraq to ratify the protocol and the nuclear test ban treaty "as soon as possible." It also asked for a progress report in 12 months.

A second resolution, adopted unanimously, ends the international management of the Development Fund for Iraq on June 30, 2011. The fund was set up after Saddam's regime was toppled in 2003 to try to ensure that the proceeds of the country's gas and oil sales were used to help its people and restore its economy.

The resolution, which will end Iraq's immunity from claims on the proceeds, calls on Iraq to set up a successor mechanism. The resolution ensures that 5 percent of oil and gas revenue will still go into a compensation fund, used mainly to pay Kuwaiti claims from the war, according to a U.S. official who was not authorized to speak publicly.

The third resolution, terminating all remaining activities of the oil-for-food program, was adopted by a vote of 14-0 with France abstaining. France's U.N. Ambassador Gerard Araud said it "did not include all of the safeguards we thought was necessary for our support."

The resolution authorizes U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to ensure that $20 million from the account is retained in escrow until Dec. 31, 2016, for U.N. expenses related to ending the program, and another $131 million to meet all other activities related to the fund including outstanding contracts.

The question is how much of Iraq has been surveyed to get this # ?? The last I heard / read only about 10% of Iraq has been surveyed for oil production! There could possibly be a lot more!!

Iraq has also raised the est. amount of oil to 143 billion barrels! Here is a link to a pretty good article, long though!!

  8. Not sure you need to be part of any group. As a matter of fact, theres really no need at all. You can follow this by simply checking Forex sites each day. Actually if one wanted to skip all the "reading of the tarot cards" on all of these different boards you wouldnt have to go anywhere other than forex. When it changes, there will be no confusion on the forex sites. Just my 2 cents is all

I'm looking at the source , the CBI !!! I check their site about 3 to 4 times a day!! Takes about 5 seconds!!

  10. I know we all want to stay the course and not let this "Change" us...

I think one really important take away from this thread is that there are inevitable changes that will occur whether you like it, accept it or understand it or not.

    Lets look at some examples:

    The IRS/Government:

In most of our cases, the IRS has little interest in us, we work, we pay our taxes and there isn't much more for them to go after....you can bet that if you are worth a few million dollars you will suddenly show up on the "Watch list" at a minimum, many will get to experience IRS audits. Be prepared, play by the rules and recognize this is a very likely change in your new situation.

    Banks:

When you walk into any of your banks where you have savings/checking the bank managers will know you and you will be treated differently than average customers. Personal Bankers are very common is you are wealthy and you will get special attention. Don't think regular customers won't notice or recognize that this is happening...then if you walk out and get into your new vehicle, you have just been Identified.

    Job Situation:

I have read where many intend on retiring upon RV. If you are not of retirement age, you have to ask yourself the question, what will your colleagues and management think about you leaving suddenly? Will you tell them why you are quiting? What will everyone say about you leaving? Do you plan to stay in touch? What will you tell them when they ask you why you left? Food for Thought.

    Investing and Future Financial Endeavors:

If you plan to invest (very likely) you will be asked about your financial situation. At a minimum, those you will be investing with will now know your situation. Will they tell anyone else about you? This is an area of high risk for many reasons.

I could go on but I hope you understand the point....saying nothing will change doesn't mean it will be true.

    Go RV....

Very well said ! Thanks for posting !!! Bottom line people , BE PREPARED !!! Have a plan! Execute the plan , things WILL change , just don't forget who you are !
