  1. I'm a KTFM member for no reason other than a few of my family members are crazy religious and members. If you listen to their CC's or post in their forum you will very quickly realize it is essentially a cult. I have never seen people so blindly loyal to someone they have never met. They hang on his every word and if you question him at all on his forum you will get banned. I'm curious who this guy is and theres no way I will find out thru KTFM. I do think he is more relavent than Okie or TK but I can't get over his Jim Jones like following

I have been a member at KTFM for a long time now. I had to laugh at your "crazy religious" description of your relatives! Well....I love the Lord with all of my heart and try very hard to live by His Word. I don't consider myself "religious"....I consider myself "blessed" and "forgiven". Anyway....KTFM is not a cult by any stretch of the imagination. Like any other group of people...we have some who are nutty....some who are not good communicators....some who take some things far too seriously....but the VAST MAJORITY of us are there because Frank and his team are honest....they share whatever they have learned with us and NOTHING MORE....unlike some others I have seen who seem to simply make things up as they go along. I love it here because I feel that this place is made up of a large number of people who diligently research their investment...and share what they have learned. Nothing more. At KTFM...we do post our prayer requests...and I must say....with the loss of my youngest daughter in an automobile accident a few weeks ago...those prayers and encouragement have been tremendously appreciated. But cult? No way. Yes there are some who take enormous exception if you disagree with Frank. But FRANK won't do that.....as long as you approach him with respect. Not deference....not worship....simple..everyday common courtesy. If you "get in his face" ....he may just refuse to answer your question. But most of the time...he has the patience of Job as the few, various members seem to hold him personally responsible for every "window of opportunity" that Iraq allows to pass by once again to revalue their currency. But he is open, honest, forthright....and a gentle spirit. He does like to talk in "riddles" sometimes...which annoys some. That's fine....there are other places to gather intel. But if you want someone to work very hard to find answers for you....to guide you through some of the confusion concerning what's going on over there....to never lie to you....or to simply listen while you vent your frustrations...Frank's your man. So don't judge us all by the few you may have come across who seem to suffer from trying to make a mortal man into more than he would ever claim...or want...to be. Frank's just a guy....a smart, Christian, tenacious, loving, and sometimes frustrated guy who started out talking to a few folks about this Iraqi Dinar idea a few years ago....and now finds himself talking to thousands. I'm one of them.....and I don't drink Koolaid...and I don't join cults. I love KTFM....and I like coming here because there are a lot of smart people here. I hope this helps answer your question. Good luck to you my fellow Dinar holder! God's blessings to you.

  2. I have been praying earnestly for you since I heard of your loss.

I lost my beautiful, precious 30 year old daughter a few weeks ago when the car she was driving was hit by a car traveling the opposite way on the interstate. The driver lost control, went airborne, and sheared off the top of her car...killing her instantly. Her husband, who was in the passenger seat, suffered massive head trauma and is still hospitalized. She was the light of my life, my dearest friend, and my heart of hearts. The pain is indescribable...and my only comfort is in knowing that I will one day see her again in Heaven. She loved the Lord with all of her heart. My precious son-in-law doesn't even remember who she is. We are praying for his healing.

Viper51....may the God of all comfort hold you in the palm of His loving hand as you take this journey of trying to cope with this kind of loss.

I will be thinking of you and praying for you and your family.

  3. IMO,IF ADAM MONTANA IS SELLING HIS BOOK AT 80 % OFF, THAN RV MUST BE JUST AROUND THE CORNER. WHY ELSE WOULD ADAM SELL HIS RV INTEL BOOK AT 80 % OFF. NO ONE WILL PURCHASE THE BOOK AFTER THE RV, AND, IT'S NOT FOR SALE AFTER THE RV. I HOPE THIS RUMOR / OPINION TURNS OUT TO BE TRUE, QUICKER THAN ANTICIPATED... AS ALWAYS, GOD BLESS.....

I was thinking the same thing!

  4. I have a friend who is a V.P. at a branch location of a major U.S. Bank. Although he personally holds a few dinars (just in case), he advised that most banking professionals believe us to be insane. Management has received instructions to "humor us," as they want to encourage and promote business. I suspect that many other banks are doing the same thing. They've received so many inquiries at this point that they just pat us on the back and tell us to come back and see them when the dinar RV's. Some have stopped selling supposedly to ""protect" their customers; others require proof of travel documents to Iraq; and many others still sell dinars without question. Just depends on where you go and whom you talk to on any given day. None of this means a lot one way or another.

I believe many of us have known this was the case for a very long time. You're right. It doesn't mean anything one way or the other. But...I admire those who have attempted to do their due diligence and take care of business. Personally...I haven't had the guts to "put myself out there" for ridicule. Very few know of my investment.

  5. Hey Ranger, :D What is he pumping? Have you been to his site? There are no adverts. There is nothing to buy. This guy doesnt believe the Dinar will revalue or do an RI (hehehe)

I will go back to using what he says as more of a devils advocate. I admit I read in way too much to what he said yesterday and yeah Keeps, I can't find anything about 14 denominations that have been created.

Anybody got an article or info on 14 denomination having been created? Preferably from a credible source thats not a dinar related site?

    Please share

    Thanks guys. :)

Ok here goes....my very first article. Being a born skeptic, I identified with your desire to see something from a more independent source referring to the lower denoms being printed. If I am successful at posting this article, this is from 2005 and if you will notice it says printing the 14 new Iraqi dinar notes and coins has already been done. Not exactly an eye witness, but at least a source that is independent of this investment.

  6. This is GREAT news!

This is what we have been waiting for.

This new currency is the lower denoms with the Kurdish writing on one side in one section.

These will be issued and the older higher denoms that we all hold will be retired and brought in during a time period to be announced.

There will NOT be 2 seperate exchange rates.

    Fantastic news people.

    Phoenix

I certainly hope that you are right, but where do you get this info? From AC or elsewhere?

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance and the Iraqi National Alliance (INA) will resume their talks within two days to choose the coming prime minister of Iraq, Hassan al-Sinaed, a leading figure of the Dawlat al-Qanoon, said on Saturday.

“The Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance will not accept abandoning the National Coalition (NC) with the INA,” al-Sinaed told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

He noted that the dialogue between the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance and the Al-Iraqiya Alliance is moving “in a good manner, but will not affect the NC.”

Talks between the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance and the INA have been paused for around two weeks, but Kurd Lawmaker Abdilbari Zebari said that Iran will activate the NC between the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance and the INA.

“Iran will make huge efforts to activate the NC and end disputes in it, to bridge the gap between NC’s members and to nominate a prime minister from within it,” Zebari told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

He noted that Iran does not want a coalition between the Al-Iraqiya Alliance and the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance, stressing that “the Iranian move will be on the opposite of such a coalition.”

“The Iranian move will also be big and strong to eliminate U.S. efforts to bridge the gap between the Al-Iraqiya Alliance and the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance,” Zebari added.

He referred to recent U.S. efforts in this regard as attempts to minimize Iranian influence in Iraq, to make America the major player within the Iraqi arena.

Can I hear an "amen" from anyone out there who is SICK AND TIRED of the likes of Iran spending so much energy, time, resources and slimy back-door maneuverings to thwart anything and everything good that our country tries to accomplish in that part of the world? Geesh!

  8. I have not been shy about the fact that I do not trust Obama. But I have come to realize that Obama is not the problem. He is not the problem anymore than booze is the problem for the alcoholic. Booze is simply an outward indicator of a deeper problem. We are the problem. The problem lies within. When did we as a society get to the place where we passively accepted communists, Maoists, Black Panthers, anarchists, and people who proudly bombed buildings on American college campuses as advisors to our President? When did we get to the place where we know our politicians lie and openly mock us yet we re-elect them? When did we get to where we accept bribery and back room deals as politics as normal?

When did we start allowing unions to openly run our politicians? When did we get to where we accept that foreigners have more rights than native born? When did we get to where we accept the idea that political parties determine what is right and wrong, even to the point that the politicians openly discuss what they can ram through approval even if they lose the upcoming election simply because they have nothing else to lose? When did we get to where we passively accept losing a large section of Arizona wilderness to Mexican cartels and flesh trafficking? When did we get to where we accept having the national flag as unacceptable in the schools because it might be offensive to some? When did we as a society get to where the school systems welcome as creative children playing with dolls re-enacting homosexual and lesbian relationships yet is another child brings a one inch plastic gun for their G.I. Joe doll the child get kicked out of school for having a weapon? When did one second grader giving a kiss to another second grader on the playground become sexual harassment? We are the problem! Our government does not need to change, WE DO and MUST do it quickly!

I truly admire people who are able to stand up and say "politically incorrect" beliefs and do it with aplomb. Amen to all of the above. I feel like I have lost my country and don't know how to get it back. The media is telling people how to think. Say something often enough, long enough, and it starts to be accepted as TRUTH. Thank you for letting me know...at least today...I am not alone.

  9. It looks like to me they are trying to ride the deadline out so they can declare the Constitution VOID, so as to put in place the Dictator of choice (according to Iran so Iraq can become Iran's property) and not share oil revenues with the Iraqi people. If the UN and US don't step in, Democracy will be gone. Instead of a Soap Opera, this can be called a Dope Opera!

    blink.gif

Now THAT is the smartest assessment of this mess that I have heard to date.

  10. It's been a bumpy ride for many members for many years. Some since 2004 and others, like myself, for the past year. Having this forum has been enlightening, exciting, disappointing, hopeful and sometimes downright depressing. I don't think there are many members who can honestly say that they have not been "on the edge" at least once in the last six months. Whether you're sceptical or optimistic there have been days that everything looked just right for an RV to happen and then the house of cards crashed down. Many folks on here are desperate for the RV to happen just to survive. Others are well off and desperate in a different way. Bottom line, we're all in it to make some money, whatever the purpose of the gain will be.

I have read hundreds of posts from different folks, weighed up the pro's and con's of various people's opinions, laughed at the outrageous predictions, got excited when events appeared to point to a positive outcome an felt sad, maybe even cheated, when nothing happened. Why? Because we're all human and we all pray for a better life for ourselves, our families and the less fortunate in our communties.

Now I think it's time we realized that Iraq doen't give a continental damn about us. By us I mean the private individuals that have a couple of million dinar and hope to make some money some day. Iraq knows that they can basically do as they please and when they please because there are so many countries and contractors drooling over their mineral wealth and just itching to get a piece of the pie. They have shown they can't even seat a government in a respectable period of time. They bicker over insignificant things, they don't know the meaning of compromise and their pride will always get in the way. Don't get me wrong, the Iraqi people are a proud nation - beaten in the past, but nonetheless, proud. They will not be done in and they will ensure they are the ones that score in the end. And rightly so - it's their mineral wealth and their future!

So, having touched on a few raw spots and expressed a tiny bit of how I feel about the whole Iraq situation, I just want us all to COME DOWN TO EARTH!!

Fact - we all bought dinar hoping for an RV.

Fact - it has not happened despite positive signs over the past 6 years.

Fact - no-one knows IF or WHEN it will happen.

Fact - all the predictions and forecasts to date have been wrong

Fact - there is a chance they will never RV and just let time rebuild their wealth.

Fact - when we hear or read a post that says it's not going to RV soon we all bash and yell and call the writer "negative" or a "bull sh****er"

Fact - none of us like hearing the truth unless it's what we WANT to hear.

Fact - we'll continue to write and read posts from various sites and laugh and bash each other as the days, weeks and months pass and nothing happens.

    and LASTLY......

FACT - One bright sonny morning, we'll wake up, with no prior warning or announcement and the IQD will be worth more than the dollar.

Friends, be patient, be strong, live life everyday to the fullest and don't forget to tell your loved ones everyday that you love them!

    :)

P.S. - Economics and politics have nothing to do with the way I feel and if you want to bash me, be my guest!!!!

Excellent. Well said. You are right. We need perspective here. I do see so much bashing when someone brings reality back into this situation, and I even understand it. Many people are hurting so much financially that they find it extremely difficult to hear anything about the SPECULATIVE aspect of this investment. But you reminded us with grace that our focus must remain on living today to its fullest. Always hoping for the best...but not failing to glean every ounce of joy we possibly can in the meantime.

This is a difficult journey. God be with us all.
