  3. Iraqiya refuses new scenario for Iraqi govt. formation

    Wednesday, October 6th 2010 7:46 PM

Baghdad, Oct.6 (AKnews) - The Iraqiya List led by the former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi stated on Wednesday that it rejects the invitation issued by al-Maliki yesterday adding that it doesn't recognize the National Coalition (NC).

cms-image-000046801.jpgAl-Maliki called yesterday in a news conference al-Iraqiya list to negotiate and present its observations about the previous phase in order to discuss and find solutions to them, calling it at the same time to be committed to the Iraqi constitution.

The spokesman Haidar al-Mulla told AKnews: "Al-Iraqiya insists that it will not participating in any government headed by Maliki.

"Al-Iraqiya negotiated over the past few months with State of Law Coalition (SLC) but didn't find them serious in forming a national partnership government."

"We submitted seven papers during the past seven months and they include reforming principles for the authorities in the country, but regrettably SLC did not response to any of the papers submitted to it."

"If SLC has the real intention to form a national partnership government, then they must respond to the papers submitted to them related to the national partnership concept."

Al-Iraqiya List announced after its emergency meeting in Baghdad shortly after Maliki's nomination for prime minister's post about its insistence on its national project that the Iraqis voted for despite all the difficulties they face, and considered that all attempts to take over the government and forming the government in an illegal way will not be recognized.

Al-Iraqiya renewed Iraqi rejection of foreign intervention in all its forms to influence the formation of the government.

The NC named Nouri al-Maliki as its candidate for the PM post in the absence of the ISCI and the Fadila party.

Al-Iraqiya led by the former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi came first in the March elections by securing 91 seats. The SLC led by the outgoing PM Nouri al-Maliki ended up second with 89 seats, the INA came third with 70 seats and the Kurdistan Blocs Coalition (KBC) won 57 seats.

Al-Iraqiya threatened earlier that it will not participate in any government formed by al-Maliki earlier and announced that it will withdraw from the political process.

  4. Maliki agreed on most of items proposed by Barzani

    Wednesday, October 6th 2010 8:12 PM

Baghdad, Oct. 6 (AKnews) - A senior member of the Kurdish blocs coalition (KBC) Fuad Massum, said Tuesday that the president of the State of Law's coalition (SLC) Nuri al-Maliki, who is the candidate of the National coalition (NC), agreed on most of the items proposed by Massoud Barzani, the president of Kurdistan Region.

cms-image-000010485.jpgLawmaker Massum told (AKnews) "We received an official response from al-Maliki in which he confirmed his approval on most of the items proposed Barzani regarding the crisis of government formation and the demands of the Kurds to participate in it," noting that "SLC was the first respondent among all the other blocs."

He explained that "the KBC will hold meetings with other political blocs, including the Iraqiya to discuss the Kurdish issue in the country and accelerate the formation of the government," noting that "Maliki's position on the Kurds demands is positive, and considered as the closest to the Kurdish people's rights, despite disagreeing on some of the items ".

The Vice President Joseph Biden had called earlier the President of the KRG, Massoud Barzani and discussed with him the proposed resolution for the Kurdish crisis, and the government crises, after nominating al Maliki's for the presidency on the behalf of the NC.

On the other hand, the NC candidate Nouri al-Maliki called the Iraqiya List to connect its discussions and submits its notes for the previous phase; pointing out that the NC and the SLC we were able to form a coalition and that the Iraqiya should negotiate on return.

Said Al Maliki in a press conference, after his visit to the headquarters of the Fadila Party in Baghdad, which was attended by the AKnews reporter "if the Iraqiya List were able to form the largest bloc, we would have joined them," noting that "the Iraqi List should submit its observations to be discussed and posed."

He made it clear that "not all the Iraqiya demands should be implemented, as well as the other blocs, because most of the demands conflict with each other. Thus, all the parties and political blocs should seek for the common denominators that could combine to form the government."

Al-Maliki also noted that "the Iraqiya talks regarding the right of the National Alliance to form the government are inconsistent with the Constitution and the Federal Court's discourse."

"Our meeting with the Fadila Party today indicates the depth of our relationship and the confirmation that they constitute important partners in the next government." Added he

For his part, the General Secretary of the Fadila Party, Hashem al-Hashemi, stated at the conference that "his party adheres to form a government of national partnership and not a government Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds," adding that "his party was committed to the position of the coalition to establish a national partnership that includes all blocks of winning the elections."

The National Coalition (NC) officially nominated al-Maliki, as its prime ministerial candidate on Friday Oct. 1, in the absence of two key Iraqi National Alliance (INA) factions, the Supreme Islamic Council and the Fadila Party.

The Supreme Council and the Fadila Party had reservations on the nomination of al-Maliki; which made them enter into new negotiations with Iraqiya that could result, according to Iraqiya lawmakers, in forming a new alliance.

  7. Evander Hollifield once was ask if the punches he took hurt. Of course they hurt. Thats why I learn...train...believe...and keep a good attitude as well as give it 100%. Then he said...but you after you've gone through the fight and you are in the winners circle ...all the pain seems to go away. The guy who I defeated however in the locker room feels every punch. Parrott...life is the same.....you are like most of us...whatever you do ...don't give up...especially on this one. I have seen alot of investments in my time...never have I seen one with this kind of potential. If I may give you a bit of advise...go out TOMORROW and buy the 5 cd set called "THREE FEET FROM GOLD" It is a true audio story from the Napoleon Hill Foundation. (only about $25 ) It is fantastic and will help you on your journey. Don't buy the book...get the cd's and listen. If for any reason you don't want it later...I will pay you for it...full price plus shipping. Good Luck to you and your family. POURITFORWARD PS...looking forward to meeting you.

  8. No, its called dont blow your remaining funds on a gamble....bust your arse and do it the old fashioned way....by working.....you can accomplish anything through hard work and commitment.....not by being lazy and hoping things fall in your lap....and what im saying is if it comes down to having money to put food in your kids mouth vs having some dinar in hand that is NOT a guaranteed return, that you would be irresponsible to buy dinar......to put an investment before your kids needs (not wants) is absolutely rediculous I dont care how you put it......I cant believe the few that gave me negative marks for having responsible thoughts and being real with this situation.....there must be some real winners on here......those who gave me negatives must be in crappy living situations because its that same mindframe that got you where you are today......no where apparently......

It's pretty obvious you don't have children you want the best for...If she spends $160 to get 100,000...I'm sure she can make that up by sacrificing a bit...by having a garage sale...or not going out, or skipping a movie or two...or skipping Coffee at Starbucks. I actually know someone who went on a three month diet...saved over $300...bought dinars and lost 18 lbs. So...she's not only not out any $$$ but also she is healthier. Have her daughter set uo a cool aid stand during the garage sale...make some $$$. Have fun. Do it together. Of course she should work but trust me...working for someone else means you are working for THEIR dreams, not yours. And in this economy and what is about to happen...this may be her only chance in her lifetime. She doesn't have big overhead so I still say take a little chance. Worst case...buy 100 and sell half to someone...maybe even her parents. POURITFORWARD

  9. A few words from one of your older members, Seen it comming for many years, this nation of ours should worry more about our young, taxes, our govrrnment and our borders. THE REST OT THE WORLD HATES THE usa, because we are always putting our nose in their business and trying to correct world problems. As most have seen we are moving toward world economics and domination by God knows what. If all of the money that has been spent by our goverment lately would have been spent within our borders supporting the poor, riding ourselves of illegal allians, protecting our borders, and promiting good will with our few friends outside the USA THAT WE HAVE HAVE LEFT, we would be much better off. I know that this is the land of the free " I say BS this country is being taken over by other cultures" Some of which we dont understand, and surely if we dont make a change they will absorbe us in the not so distant future. WAKE UP AMERICA. Please everyone get out and vote in next elections. If you dont vote and you dont like whats going on, whats your alt. watch and gripe, avocate rev., sit around and watch it happen. The latter is what most will do.

I can assure you Brenda and myself will vote next oppurnity
