Is it me or does Maliki have one of those smiles that says I just stole a sheeite load of money and there is nothing you can do about it, and Alawi facial expression is like what did you say?

  2. So far no coupe reported, just a sit in.

Thats probably a cover for the coo aks packed under their robes get as close to the seat govt then wait for the signal. The signal will be an announcement Alawi or Meliki withdraws from the process, then all h*** will break loose.

  3. Well ... My very first own rumor I get to start with you guys thanks to k98nights himself from his news article posting about the Currency forger arrested in Iraq.

Look VERY close at the picture and tell me what is on the scale at the table ... Are those 25 dinar notes?!?!?

Correct me if I am wrong because I don't see a big 25 number like that on any of the notes listed on the CBI website right now. B)

    cms-image-000030495.jpg

The question is, are those 1IQDs he is holding and are they the new 1IQDs or the Old 1IQD's

  4. I was recently asked by a close friend if the 50 dinar notes are a part of the small denominations he has been hearing about. I was not sure of the answer, and since I have a few myself I wasn't sure what to tell him. Maybe you guys can help with the answer to that question. Posted below are pictures, one of the front and one of the back of the note. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I think we are waiting for the much smaller notes the One's, Five's, Tens, Twenty's,

  8. 4 August 2010

The meeting with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is not

about the lifting of the Chapter VII sanctions from Iraq. The UNSC

meeting is about recommending to speed up the forming of the

government. The UN Sanctions will remain for the foreseeable future

in 2010. One thing no one has mentioned is the smuggling of oil

between Kurdistan and Iran which has been going on for many years. PM

Nuri Maliki has stated "that any Iraqi violations of the international

sanctions against Iran could further defame Iraq's image in the U.N.

Security Council and delay the country's release from Chapter VII."

The continued delaying in forming of the Iraqi government has more

implications such as the Financial Monitoring Board will negatively

effect the Transfer of the Iraq Development Fund to the Iraq

government following the completion of the U.N. guardianship at the

    end of 2010.

The President of Iraq could dissolve the Parliament and call for new

elections after 75 days from the first session if no deal is reached.

The currency of choice is still the US Dollar in shops in Baghdad and

any where else in Iraq. There is no shops saying they will not take

US Dollars because it is still king.

Al-Maliki made some very bold statements to the US saying “I will turn

ISCI into a civil organization and fill the Iraqi prisons with Sadr

    movement members.

Al-Maliki said this to a US negotiator a member of the National

Security Council. Al-Maliki also offered to give up the security file

to Dr. Ayad Allawi, as well as the MOD, MOI, and the Intelligence to

the Iraqyia list in exchange for Allawi’s support for his nomination

    as the next PM.

The US enthusiastically supported Al-Maliki and pressured the Iraqiya

list to accept Al-Maliki offer, however, the Iraqyia list rejected the

offer and insisted on their position of no Al-Maliki for a second

    term.

After this information was leaked to the INA, Al-Maliki tried to cover

it up by calling Ahmed Chalabi to meet with him. Al-Maliki told

Chalabi that the information was not accurate. Chalabi left the

meeting unconvinced especially after the Iraqyia list revealed the

list temptations presented by Al-Maliki through his negotiation

    delegation.

The Iraq and Kuwait negations continue and it is progressing as the

Iraqi government just turned over 13 oilfields, 150 houses and part of

a base in Um-Qasr port to the Kuwaiti government. Both countries will

also share in the oil proceeds of a borderline oilfield. This is all

    UN Approved actions.

The UN has no power over the Iraqi government in regards to forming

the new government. The meeting today only discussed Iraq's

commitment to international resolutions. There will be no RV in the

month of August 2010. UN Chapter VII will continue as I predicted for

at least the remainder of the year and longer.

This Blows but some good news!

  9. Works for me

Is this the part you are referring too?

On November 22, 2005, the Iraqi Council of Ministers requested the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to

make the necessary arrangements to refund all CBI balances at foreign banks that have been transferred

to the DFI as required by UNSCR 1483 (2003). To the financial statements issuance date, the MOF has

not confirmed the amounts of IQD 389,251 million, equivalent to US Dollar 333 million (2008: IQD

389,916 million, equivalent to US Dollar 333 million) that may be refunded from the DFI to the CBI.

Due to the absence of the details, the CBI did not prepare reconciliations of certain frozen and old

outstanding deposits at foreign banks as of December 31, 2009.

  10. Fox news report this morning 9:30 am central time stated that a cordinated attack of bombs went off this morning in Iraq, report says that blasts were focused on CBI banks, and it's employees, Wonder if this has any thing to do with Pre Rv movements in Iraq just thought it was news worthy!

Things are bad for the people and their upset that they voted 5 months ago and still are living in poverty they want and need a stronger currency so they can afford basic necessities. Why not go to the source to show them how desperate the situation is. Maybe the people will be herd RV or I shoot and loot.

  11. I can't wait for the morning when I get out of bed. Make my coffee and set myself down at the computer. Log in and see that the dinar RV. I will jump up spill my coffee and run to the bank yelling the hole way. Will I might change to get out of my pj's LOL. Here is to hoping, wishing that next week we can fianlly get off this ride. God bless to you all and have a wonderful weekend.

I cant wait either my day will go something like this wake up fix a cup of coffee sit down at the computer log on see RV rip the laptop from the plug as I'm headed too the bathroom loose all bodily function for about 5min then make haste laptop toilet paper and coffee what little i have left after spilling it on the computer get too the bank drop to my knees and say thanx right before i get arrested. JK JK

  12. Interesting ... Why did you blank out the Bank name though??? I wonder why one sees one thing and another a another? I am all for the possiblity of a RV today or tomorrow. Crossing my fingers. I heard no fat lady sing yet too.

The only reason I dont want 2 give up the bank name is because I dont want the lines to be long tomorrow when it RVs I hope!!!!!!!!!!!!
