  1. Hey all.

I know everything is looking up and close. But keep in mind if it does not RV can you afford to stick your necks out. You know historically we have gotten all hyped up only to be let down. I pray with ALL my heart the RV will be w/i the next few days. But in case it does not come through I will continue to save until I can afford more. Someone on the chat forum said "Pigs get fat, Hogs get slaughtered" Be wise not greedy. I love this site.

God Bless and Hope we will be rich later today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Chad you are more than likely in bed by now. Hopefully in the morning you will read this post. Do not feel bad. It took me some time to get this too. Look now. Do not be closed minded and think what I will be entering through.

You have 500,000 dinar. One of these dinar is equal to .00086 right now in USD. If a LOP were to occur then 1 dinar would be equal to .86 USD. Now you have 500,000 dinar and you would multiply each of those dinar (total of 500,000) by .86 you would get 430,000. You have to look at what "one" dinar would be equal to in USD. Not the zeros on the dinar 25K note. Get your calculator and enter 500,000 hit the times button then enter .86 (the value of one dinar if the zero's were LOP'ed) the hit the equal key and see what you get. Hope this simplified it for you.

    Be Blessed and DON'T stress

  3. I was just reading a post by BigBoy and he has more detailed reasons for the delay. I'm not sure if this is what Okie Oil Man is referring to. I just know that I will only get excited when this thing finally happens and I am standing in my bank managers office filling out the paperwork for my wire transfer.

  4. Unnamed politicians say that former PM Ibrahim Jaafari, Finance Minister Bayan Jabr, and the sketchy Ahmed Chalabi will be working separately to foil Maliki's efforts to assemble a cabinet. The key, according to the report, is in the following lines from the constitution.

    Article 76:

First: The President of the Republic shall charge the nominee of the largest Council of Representatives bloc with the formation of the Council of Ministers within fifteen days from the date of the election of the President of the Republic.

Second: The Prime Minister-designate shall undertake the naming of the members of his Council of Ministers within a period not to exceed thirty days from the date of his designation.

Third: If the Prime Minister-designate fails to form the Council of Ministers during the period specified in clause “Second,” the President of the Republic shall charge a new nominee for the post of Prime Minister within fifteen days.

Fourth: The Prime Minister-designate shall present the names of his members of the Council of Ministers and the ministerial program to the Council of Representatives. He is deemed to have gained its confidence upon the approval, by an absolute majority of the Council of Representatives, of the individual Ministers and the ministerial program.

Fifth: The President of the Republic shall charge another nominee to form the Council of Ministers within fifteen days in case the Council of Ministers did not win the vote of confidence.

    Several observations arise here.

First, all three alleged plots are led by politicians who are very close to Iran. My assumption here is that since the premiership is going to stay within the Shiite house in general (since Iraqiya and the Kurds already got their share of the three top posts) Maliki drastically depreciated from Iran's perspective. After all, Tehran was at odds with Maliki since after he turned on Sadr 2008. The support Iran gave Maliki in the past few months was an exception to the rule. Now that the Shiite parties are more or less on the same side again, it makes sense for Iran to back a less nationalistic figure.

Second, as usual, any such scheme would require Kurdish cooperation. From the Kurds perspective, a good PM should be: 1)reasonably weak, 2)not a Sunni Arab nationalist. At least two of the three men named in the report fit the bill. However, the Kurds seem quite happy with the deal with Maliki, so it's not easy to tell what their response is going to be should the alleged schemes materialize.

Third, the constitutional article isn't specific enough. The third clause does not specify whether the "new nominee for the post of Prime Minister" must come from the largest bloc in parliament, or any other bloc.

The government formation journey could be far from over.

I hope this is not another ploy to delay the rv. I do not post often just read. Over the last three weeks there have been more accomplished than in the last eight months. When I just start feeling this thing is close there we go again. I really hope this satotage is foiled.

  5. The RV was supposed to be today and confirmed by a member who had insider information. Could this still happen?

My question and has always been my question is, why would the RV occur on the same day the government is formed? All of the Principles are not even in place yet.

Triple xxx I wonder the same. I followed a members post throughout the night and was very excited. I wake up and the member's thread has a white x and he is not responding to posts of late

  7. "Iraq is a long-term play, the minimum investment horizon is at least one year,"

"We are telling everybody: put in 1-3 per cent of your assets, write it off immediately as a total loss and then look at it in three to five years"

"Nobody knows what's going to happen. Everybody is guessing. But if it works out, we are going to make five, 10, 20 times of our money,"

Makes you wonder if we are all just dreaming of turning 1k+ investment into hundreds of thousand or millions...

Sorry I did not add my text. I have stayed off the site just because of such thoughts. One day the Dinar is going to RV, then in 30 days and then by the end of the year. I just will continue to check periodically and hold my breath. I feel my investment is a sure deal but when I will not continue to ride the roller coster. I will enjoy this blessing when God says so, no sooner and no later. You all stay blessed and wise.
