  1. I have always seen the ads on the upper page of DV on the right and left of DV website.

How can Google or Firefox put Ads on DV Website? I am not upset with Adam or DV, just wondering.

The two ads, one from a GPS company, and another from a trailer manufacture on the east coast

appeared IN THE UPPER LEFT AND RIGHT corners of the DV website. Usually, the ads that are there

are usually either for the sale of Dinar or Dating sights...........

    Go RV

If you are not VIP then the website is setup by the admin to allow you to see ads as you see, but the ads displayed are determined by Google through your internet habits or search criteria based on Google's database criteria against your cookies. The admin takes these ad pages off if you upgrade to VIP. Besides the other benefits of VIP I mainly like it where I don't have to scroll down to see what I want to read.

  2. Anyone else sign out, leave & come back later only to find yourself signed in ?

AND now how do I eliminate myself from this Dinar Vet account. I may go back to simply lurking & not have an account but need directions on how to delete myself. I have had issues with email accounts being compromised so I delete on a whim & move on.

Any suggestions you can offer will be greatly appreciated. :)

go RV fricken GO ALREADY !

When you initially signed in you must have checked off the "remember me" box. All you have to do is click on "Sign Out" next to the "My Settings" up above and clear you browser cookies (which there is a link for that very bottom that says "Delete My Cookies". Once you have done that you can lurk all you want without signing in. But you can not leave message or posts unless signed in. As far as deleting the account we don't do that, you just don't sign in anymore.

  3. I tried to use the "send me an e-mail" for another member,

    and get this message:

[#10314] Sorry, you are not permitted to send an email via this board.

    Read more: http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?app=members&module=messaging&section=contact&do=Mail&MID=35550#ixzz1TskmXMxY

    Why am I not permitted?

    Can you fix this?

    Thanks.

The "Click here to e-mail me" link does not work on ANYONE in DinarVets .... VIP have the option of using the Private Messaging (PM) system but only 1 a day if correct. Hope that clears up the confusion.

  4. where did you hear it rv`ed ??

They are asking if it did ..... there was rumor that it could have happened today but that was only rumor. So they are just trying to get confirmation of what happened.

My answer .... Sorry I have not heard anything.

  5. There you go peeps ... Let's bombard them with those screen shots and put them up against a wall. You all have no problem calling banks with someone says they heard this bank say this or that so lets put Yahoo up to confirm mistake or real. Send all screen shots and questions of what is the deal going on to: finance-admin@cc.yahoo-inc.com

Send these guys a bunch of screen shots please :)

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Finance.

I understand that the Gain% is displaying incorrectly for the ticker

"IQDGBP=X" within Yahoo! Finance. I apologize for the inconvenience this

has caused you and have some information to share with you.

I tried to view the issue you reported and was not able to replicate the

issue you experienced. There may have been a temporary issue on our site

that was resolved. My goal is your complete satisfaction, and I want to

ensure that your concerns are completely resolved.

If you could please show me what your screen looks like when this

problem occurs, I'd really appreciate it. These steps will tell you how

to take a screenshot of your computer screen.

Here are the steps for taking a screenshot on a PC:

    1. Press the "Print Screen" key (it may be labeled on your keyboard as

    "PrtScn/SysRq").

    2. Open the Microsoft Paint Program:

    a. Select the "Start" button on the Windows Task Bar.

    b. Select the "Programs" (it may be "All Programs") menu.

    c. Select the "Accessories" menu.

    d. Select "Paint."

    3. Press "CTRL+V," or select "Edit" and "Paste" to paste the screenshot

    into the Paint application.

    4. Click "File," then "Save":

    a. Select "Desktop" on the left to save the file to your Windows

    Desktop.

    b. Enter "YAHOO ID-screenshot" in the "File Name" field (where YAHOO ID

    is your Yahoo! ID).

    c. Select "JPEG (*.JPG; *.JPEG; *.JPE; *.JFIF)" in the "Save As Type"

    pull-down.

    d. Click the "Save" button.

    5. Attach the file to your email response, and include any other

relevant information. Once we've received your reply, this will help us

investigate the issue in further detail.

Note: It is important to save this file as a JPG file as it takes up

much less space. Large file attachments often have difficulty getting

through our system because of bandwidth issues.

Please respond to this message, and include this screenshot as a file

attachment, so I can "see" the issue you are experiencing with Yahoo!

    Finance.

I appreciate your patience and willingness to work with me while I

    further investigate the issue.

Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Finance.

    Regards,

    Florence

  6. Quick solution would be to download the pic to your computer and then upload it to your profile. Then the call for the pic doesn't have to go searching for it on some other site.

    ;)

Exactly ... I think eddiemac's issue is it pulling from a website and not a hard file.

  7. Yahoo can't "fix" this per say since the changes have nothing to do with them. The information on their site comes from their "data partners" who are listed. Check the fine print on the very bottom of the page for the link to their data providers.

Ahhh and duely noted ... but Yahoo is big enough company to find someone to get it fixed IMO.
