I don't know where it came from, I just received it in an email, but it did make me think about life and how precious it really is. It still amazes me how people get mad when they get pulled over. Cops are not that bored to pull you over for no reason. I also thought I would send it on to tell everyone to relax with this investment as well, it will happen when its ready. I have been in this since 04 and have had my moments where it was driving me crazy waiting on this to happen. Every country needs this to happen and Iraq still has a lot of work to do to help their people out. All of this civil unrest going on in the middle east is the people finally being done waiting for their chance to prosper, hopefully they can make their changes with just protest and keep the violence out of it.

Jack took a long look at his speedometer
Before slowing down: 73 in a 55 zone.
Fourth time in as many months..
How could a guy get caught so often?
When his car had slowed to 10 miles an hour,
Jack pulled over, but only partially.
Let the cop worry about the potential traffic hazard..
Maybe some other car will tweak his backside with a mirror.
The cop was stepping out of his car,
The big pad in hand..
Bob? Bob from Church?
Jack sunk farther into his trench coat.
This was worse than the coming ticket.
A cop catching a guy from his own church.
A guy who happened to be a little eager
To get home after a long day at the office..
A guy he was about to play golf with tomorrow..
Jumping out of the car,
He approached a man he saw every Sunday,
A man he'd never seen in uniform.
'Hi, Bob. Fancy meeting you like this.'
'Hello, Jack.' No smile.
'Guess you caught me red-handed
In a rush to see my wife and kids.'
'Yeah, I guess.' Bob seemed uncertain.
Good.
'I've seen some long days at the office lately.
I'm afraid I bent the rules a bit -just this once.'
Jack toed at a pebble on the pavement.
'Diane said something about roast beef and potatoes tonight.
Know what I mean?'
'I know what you mean.
I also know that you have a reputation in our precinct .'
Ouch.
This was not going in the right direction.
Time to change tactics.
'What'd you clock me at?'
'Seventy.
Would you sit back in your car please?'
'Now wait a minute here, Bob.
I checked as soon as I saw you.
I was barely nudging 65.'
The lie seemed to come easier with every ticket.
'Please, Jack, in the car'
Flustered, Jack hunched himself through the still-open door. Slamming it shut, he stared at the dashboard..
He was in no rush to open the window.
The minutes ticked by.
Bob scribbled away on the pad..
Why hadn't he asked for a driver's license?
Whatever the reason,
It would be a month of Sundays
Before Jack ever sat near this cop again.
A tap on the door jerked his head to the left.
There was Bob, a folded paper in hand
Jack rolled down the window a mere two inches,
Just enough room for Bob to pass him the slip.
'Thanks..'
Jack could not quite keep the sneer out of his voice.
Bob returned to his police car without a word.
Jack watched his retreat in the mirror.
Jack unfolded the sheet of paper.
How much was this one going to cost?
Wait a minute.
What was this? Some kind of joke?
Certainly not a ticket. Jack began to read:
'Dear Jack, Once upon a time I had a daughter..
She was six when killed by a car.
You guessed it - a speeding driver.
A fine and three months in jail, and the man was free.
Free to hug his daughters, all three of them.
I only had one, and I'm going to have to wait until Heaven
Before I can ever hug her again.
A thousand times I've tried to forgive that man.
A thousand times I thought I had.
Maybe I did, but I need to do it again.
Even now.
Pray for me.
And be careful, Jack,
my son is all I have left.'
'Bob'
Jack turned around in time to see Bob's car
pull away and head down the road.
Jack watched until it disappeared.
A full 15 minutes later, he too,
pulled away and drove slowly home,
praying for forgiveness and
hugging a surprised wife and kids when he arrived...
Life is precious.
Handle with care.
This is an important message;

Funny how you can send a thousand jokes
through e-mail and they spread like wildfire,

So, yesterday it was raining here in an undisclosed location in Iraq and then the sun came out. The rainbow that appeared seemed to me from my vantage point, to end just outside the "wire" right at a branch of the CBI.

I don't completely blame O for all of this, all of our presidents have contributed to this problem, but with that being said all the crazy spending that has been going on with the administration will never help us out of the problem we have. They need to stop the spending and lower ALL taxes. Let businesses know that they will be ok to put the money they make back into their business and develop new products and hire more people. And just for your info do not pull the race card, I don't care what color he his. He is bad for the country and has spent more than any other presidnt in his 2 years, and has proven already that his ideas are not working and will not work

Our borders are like sieves and they want to give all illegal's amnesty and free healthcare.
The middle class is being squeezed to death every day.
These are times that cry out for leadership.
But when you look around, you've got to ask: 'Where have all the leaders gone?' Where are the curious, creative communicators? Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, omnipotence, and common sense? I may be a sucker for alliteration, but I think you get the point..
Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making us take off our shoes in airports and throw away our shampoo?
We've spent billions of dollars building a huge new bureaucracy, and all we know how to do is react to things that have already happened.
Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping the government will make it better for them. Now, that's just crazy.. Deal with life.
Name me an industry leader who is thinking creatively about how we can restore our competitive edge in manufacturing. Who would have believed that there could ever be a time when 'The Big Three' referred to Japanese car companies? How did this happen, and more important, look what Obama did about it!
Name me a government leader who can articulate a plan for paying down the debt, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care problem. The silence is deafening. But these are the crises that are eating away at our country and milking the middle class dry.
I have news for the Chicago gangsters in Congress. We didn't elect you to turn this country into a losing European Socialist state. What is everybody so afraid of? That some bonehead on NBC or CNN news will call them a name? Give me a break. Why don't you guys show some spine for a change?
Had Enough? Hey, I'm not trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here. I'm trying to light a fire. I'm speaking out because I have hope - I believe in America .. In my lifetime, I've had the privilege of living through some of America 's greatest moments. I've also experienced some of our worst crises: The 'Great Depression,' 'World War II,' the 'Korean War,' the 'Kennedy Assassination,' the 'Vietnam War,' the 1970's oil crisis, and the struggles of recent years since 9/11.
It's our country, folks, and it's our future. Our future is at stake!!

I agree the bashing has to stop, I figure if you hear something post it, I don't care who you are. If you don't agree then, ok, stop reading. What I am sick of seeing is all the post that just start out with smart a$$ comments. That is a waste of time. I joined this site to meet some people and read a little about this investment we are in. I don't agree with every statement made especially when an individual says its going to happen in the next 24 hours every day. But I read the info they say they have received and roll with it. This RV will happen, question is when and how much. Good post thanks.

TOLERANCE:
I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against a mosque being built
near Ground Zero. I think it should be the goal of every American to be
tolerant. The mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.
That is why I also propose, that two nightclubs be opened next door to the
mosque thereby promoting tolerance within the mosque. We could call one of the
clubs (which would be ***) 'The Turban Cowboy' and the other being a topless bar
'You Mecca Me Hot'.
Across the street should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and adjacent
to that have an open barbeque pork rib restaurant, called something like 'Iraq
o’ Ribs'. Also next to them could be a very daring lingerie store called
'Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret' with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the
goods.
Next door to the lingerie shop, there would be room for an Adult Toy Shop
(Koranal Knowledge), its name in flashing neon lights, and on the other side a
liquor store, maybe call it 'Morehammered'?
Then the Muslims could be allowed to show their tolerance. Problem solved.
If you agree in promoting tolerance and you think this is a good plan, pass it
on.

I just posted something about this yesterday, short term capital gains tax right now is 39.5%, long term was around 22%. This is not set in stone at this point per my tax consultant and nobody knows what it may be but i am sure they will have it all figured out by the time of the rv, this is why i feel a few people really know when this is gonna happen, ie our govt. why else would it come up now, besides conservatives pushing liberals to stop spending.

I don't know if this was posted on here before, but I talked to my tax guy yesterday to get my taxes done and was asking him how they determine short and long term investments. Since I have been in this investment since 04. He said that even with the new Dinar that I have bought, if it were to RV soon, I could still claim it as a long term investment since I started so long ago. He also said that the taxes on it as of now are 39.5%, however that is not set in stone and even the govt. does not know fully what we will get taxed at. I don't remember the reason for that but it was something that hadn't been completely decided yet.

try not to lump everyone into the same group, i am on here whenever i want to be, i dont need the "fix" as you put it. I read what is put up and thats about it. yes there are some people that get to carried away with the info that is given out and cry when it doesn't come true. Someday, somebody will be right, on either rate or date, who knows. But I have gained a lot of knowledge about how some of this works even though Iraq is breaking every rule out there. Just sayin, before anyone bashes others, take a step back and think about it before you type it. Some are here to learn what others THINK they know, and some of us just like to hear other peoples opinions about everything going on. AGAIN, RELAX, DONT BASH EVERY PIECE OF INFO EVEN IF IT IS WRONG.
