I tried to find a link but couldn't, but on the ticker line this morning while watching GMA, there was a headline there where Obama was saying that he expects the business sector to grow by 33% this coming year.. I was wondering if he felt that businesses would increase because of the influx of money from Dinar investors and what that would mean for our economy (but obviously won't say that).. otherwise where is the increase (that is a substantial amount) coming from.. are we bringing back production and such to this country and taking it out of foreign hands? Just wondering why he feels so optimistic about such a large jump...

I saw last night that the unemployment benefit applications were down in NOV. and DEC., could be because of the holiday jobs being taken, or could be a ploy

by the administration to boost unemployment numbers to get the people thinking early about 'the economy is really getting better'. The major networks will

report this to make POTUS more electable. jstongue.gif

Unemployment numbers were down because some 300,000 workers have given up looking for work and dropped off the rolls. Now there's a statistic the administration can be proud of! More people on welfare and food stamps. Man, this socialist agenda is really working. Aren't you proud America?

You no longer collect unemployment benefits your no longer a statistic. These numbers are BOGUS, Unemployment is probably almost at 20%.

Don't know for sure about the US, but here in Canada you get to collect unemployment insurance, oops, they call it employment insurance now, anyhow you get to collect it for a set length of time according to the number of qualifying units (weeks or pay periods or months, whatever) and then you are booted ... hasta la vita baby. So, from there you go apply for welfare. And the government bigmouths hook their thumbs under their imaginary suspenders, and swagger a bit and tell us that the numbers are really good, that unemployment is down. We all know that what goes down first went up of something like that. So if anyone thinks about it they think, hey, unemployment went down, so employment went up. Aha! Gottcha! Other direction. If unemployment went down, the unemployed just kept going down further, to the welfare service. Neat trick for the politicians. Then they blame increased welfare payments on single moms having to stay home 'cause they can't affort to work and get daycare ... and whose fault is that pray tell? ... and the game just keeps going on, and on, and on ... you get it.

Over 13 million Americans are unemployed. Over 7 million are either "marginally" employed (pt) or earning minimum wage. Obama can spew any crap he wants but that doesn't change reality on the 8.6% unemployment rate! Most of those 20 million will definitely be going to the ballot box in 2012. Do you think they will vote for Obama?

The above figures are from Bureau of Labor Statistics Dec. 2, 2011
