If 22 new companes are going into Iraq, they must have been promised something, though not necessarily a new value of the dinar. It may have been better security, better prices, etc. We will just have to wait and see.

This is the article (below) Med is referring to, I am guessing.

Although half of the article is too confusing to understand, what Med states as "the rv is now irreversible" seems to be another misunderstanding yet again on his part.

U.S. Embassy promises business in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Dec. 13 (AKnews) - The United States allegedly promised to send 22 American companies for business to Iraq.

Salam al-Qureshi, economic adviser in the Iraqi government, claimed that the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad had made that promise.

According to Qureshi, four of them are pharmaceutical companies, three of them are working in the field of education. The others are constructions and industrial companies.

AKnews contacted the U.S. Embassy for a comment but has not received an answer so far.

I agree that the article is very confusing because it is difficult to understand. However, it may have meant that the RV is irreversible now as it could have meant that it will be a two year process with the release of the new denominations. I would like to believe that the RV will hit soon and if it does, I won't care when the new denominations are released. It appears that the 22 companies have tentatively been given the OK to do business in Iraq. I see no problem with that since it does not affect the RV. I still believe they have been promised something for doing business there.
