The person who owns this site has a nice business, selling VIP memberships and taking advantage of other revenue streams that the average internet marketer normally tries to capitalize upon.

The IQD may RV. But in order to better understand the field on which you stand, you need to look at internet traffic. Traffic here is decent. See www.alexa.com to review all the traffic trends of DV ... On it you will find some of your observations supported here as men over 45 tend to be conservative. Especially childless, non college graduates.

The 6,746 most popular (most visited) website in the US, alexa's analytics summarize DV this way:

Dinarvets.com's three-month global Alexa traffic rank is 30,193. Visitors to it spend approximately nine minutes per visit to the site and 52 seconds per pageview. Roughly 90% of this site's visitors are in the US, where it has attained a traffic rank of 6,746. Visitors to Dinarvets.com view 6.8 unique pages each day on average. Relative to the overall population of internet users, the site's audience tends to be over the age of 45; they are also disproportionately childless men browsing from home who are not college graduates and have incomes over $30,000.

When you visit alexa, you will notice that traffic to DV is down about 40% during the last three months and generally down quite a bit for the year. It's possible that measures have been taken to try to increase traffic here and, of course, once again we are getting regular information that the RV is imminent. This will keep people coming back and might possibly increase VIP membership. Remember, websites are just like television programming: eyeballs = $$$.

Personally, I'm ready for an RV. But I don't expect it for a couple years.

Hope this clarifies a little regarding your original post.

Impressive research. I stand in awe...

Oh puh-leez.

The is a HUGE difference between what Jesus taught and what our government is doing in social programs. Jesus taught that individuals needed to be charitable, and making that choice is fundamental to shaping the spirit. Jesus is all about relationship.

When government takes over the Christian job of taking care of our neighbors, then individuals lose the choice to do it, as resources are STOLEN from individuals in the form of forced taxation. Government has a function. Charity work as a result of individuals with no choice is not it.

When individuals are struggling so hard to keep food on the table and roof over their head, they resent the theft of their personal resources by government, and much of the opportunity to reach out to others in the way Jesus taught is stolen, to the degree that excessive taxation for social programs is forced.

The greatest loss is the change of focus of those who will share when there is plenty, to just working to make the 36% (after all regular and hidden taxes are taken) work to meet their needs. This number just gets lower and lower as there are fewer people working to support the masses.

Wow, I really like this perspective and I have never thought in this way, however you "hit the nail on the head" for me. Sharing is a big part of the foundation of this country, this is what brings communities and neighborhoods together and it repairs peoples hearts. Have a wonderful Friday and a great Christmas season.

Thanks, Tiff ... pretty simple research, really. At least when you know where to look.

I learned this about 5 years ago and I was amazed at how simple the underbelly of the internet is. The person who owns DV certainly knows this as well. He has a profit model, volunteer mods and very little overhead for running this site. He will consistently need to replace the vast majority of visitors to this site because most people won't have the patience or attention span to keep their 'dream' alive. This reality is evidenced on this site by the fact that most posters were not members a year ago. As someone who has been an IQD investor for a couple years and visiting this site for about 18 months ... I can tell you that the vast majority of names that you see on DV today are different than Dec 2010. probably 80-90% turnover for posters anyway. Mods too.

You will see this next Dec too when (most likely) IQD investors will still be waiting.

Make no mistake about it, the owner of this site makes a killing on the regular visitors writing and reading off topic posts and reposting dinar articles and certainly the reposting of every guru that you can think of ... again eyeballs = $$$. Eventually, some of those (he claims 40,000+) members will anti up for VIP. You can easily spreadsheet those numbers at a minimal % (paying VIP dues of about $15 per month) and see that we're talking far more monthly income than the overwhelming majority of visitors to this site earn. Like I said earlier, it's a good business.

Obama is the blame guy, like Bush was. Being the pres of US makes them the most powerful person in the world. Comes with the job. Every pres has made their mark of the people in one way or another.

Iraq does not care about the US when it comes to their rv. It's theirs and well deserved for them. If we capitolized from it then that's just a blessing as we Christians would say. But to say that God will make this happen, well it's not that easy. That would be our will, not God's. We cannot say what God's will is.

All have their views of what God wants. But, in the end the only thing that God will have to do with this if we benefit is that he did not stop us from receiving a blessing. He did not do it for us. He is into souls, good people doing his work. Not people who want him to work for them. Some people say God is going to make this happen. The only thing that I can say, is that when this does RV, I will thank him for allowing me to have the blessing of knowing and then in turn ask for guidance to have me do what he would have me do with it.

Now, some Christians may disagree, it is all how you interpret the word.

PS It is not a scam because the Dinar is the currency of Iraq.

I've been involved in this investment for almost a year now. This site is the best one for any real information and good fun to make fun of the gurus. Okie and all the rest of them are obviously full of crap. I would like to explain an observation that I've made and see what everyone thinks. I'm not a political person but I do have a general interest in politics. I'm one of those in the mushy middle and registered independent. It just seems like all of the Dinar sites (including this one) have some common elements. I would say that 99.9% of the people are very conservative and very religious. And don't get me wrong because I don't have any problem with that whatsoever. It just seems like a lot of conspiracy style stuff is just rampant even on this site especially when it comes to Obama and how somehow he is in control of this...or stopping it from happening. This is a common theme among all the Dinar sites. And when I start to see this kind of stuff it looks more and more like a scam. It almost seems like the dinar brokers and pumpers found most of the investors through the same circles...maybe conservative websites or something. I know that I was told about this investment through a personal friend who is very conservative. Another common theme around here is trying to bring God into it and trying to say he is in control of this investment and wants all of us to be rich. You hear it from Okie, Bear, Bulldog, and all the rest of them including people on here. Now this part actually does drive me a little crazy because I don't believe God cares one bit about the fortunes of man. I guess my point is that sometimes this investment starts to look very fishy with everyone having the same exact political views and weakness for conspiracy b.s. Okie and all the gurus (obviously I don't include Adam in this) can basically just blame Obama

[

There is your problem you read the posts from the guru gang they have been wrong so much. If I was any of them I would hide And never tell anyone who I was.

I dont have a TV. I dont listen to Glen Beck or Rush Limbaugh. I have my own opinions because of what I read that has been done or said. I believe TV is a form of brainwashing in an humanistic manner and religion is brainwashing in a spiritualistic manner. If your form of religion leads you to kill and destroy, just because somebody disagrees with you, whether it be humanism or any other religiosity, it will lead you down some paths that I personally do not adhere to. I do believe in God and that some day there will be a horrible war that will destroy 2/3rds of all things. Life, water, cattle, humanity, trees, grasses, fowl etc. That is Biblical. I believe if you read and study history, the re-birthing of things since the beginning of time, I believe Solomon said there is nothing new under the sun and what has been will be, you will come to understand that what is going on here, right now, is a re-birthing of some horrible and evil things. Read History. I have never said God told me to do this dinar thing but because of reading and watching what happened in Kuwait I saw an opportunity that may be a good one to secure my future a little bit. I have also never said God was not in this. I do not know. I do believe when things are happening and freedoms are being taken away and you can study history and see what happened when others followed these same paths we are going down today to sit in a corner and stay quiet is an evil. To not be alarmed is to be asleep. To say nothing is happening is to either be on the side of socialism or to be absolutely brainwashed. I fear for what is happening to our great nation and am saddened and am full of sorrow because the next step is death and deprivation. And all who think wealth will be equally re-distributed wake up. Socialism has never worked and never will. Read history. The ones in power that are making laws right now to change this nation are mostly puppets also. Just remember Satan has come to steal, kill, and destroy. God robed Himself in flesh to give us life, and that, more abundantly. God will not force Himself on you but Satan will. When all hell breaks loose on this earth and this nation know that God did not do that but man made a choice. The choices made by all dictate who they are and what they become.

Laws are being changed, freedoms are being taken away, internment camps are being made, right here in the USA. This is not conspiracy this is happening.

Great Post! This is basically how I feel. It's nice to see some rational thought here and there on this forum. Thanks!
