Atten: Footforward-- thanks for your insights and help- you are very much appreciated.

This is in response to Footforwards last post- and even though I think he is one of the most insightful and comprehensive in his approach in this community- there is one area of discussion that did not mention.

As footfoward had mention in this past weeks call, Iraq has lost control of their RV....not to mention their country under Sadam- and even going back England's oil control and exploitation from the turn of the century. My point is that if we have good intel on an in country RV that would point to a very good indication of how they feel about the west's orchestration of the whole play in the ME in the last 50 plus years.

They're resentful of how the west, after all of their meddling in the region, will profit from this RV and even bail out the EU and quite possibly the US deficit- all on the back of their currency.True, they will make untold millions from developing their countries resources, elevate their standard of living, but they probably want it all for themselves and probably even feel entitled over everybody else- and don't like being the mule dog currency mut coming to every bodies rescue. So..... we have a stalemate.....of sorts..... and the political meetings and posturing this week are just that- Iraq is trying to negotiate a better deal for themselves knowing all the while that they are holding one of the trump cards of this whole world debt mess brought to us by unbridled greed and corruption..... and they are playing their full tilt and wanting all the casino chips for themselves. I not saying I agree with the current methods and maddness- but not to bring some level of compassion and insight to this will not help this move forward.

WE are all in this world together more and more- and when we get our blessing it will all serve us to move into a wider field of acceptance of others ALL around the world.

one big thing to remember...they make enough of the industrialized nations mad...the only profit they will get from their oil is when they use it to grease their camels, their bicycles and what else is left over after they are left out...they do not hold the trump card on anything!! Without the help of the rest of the world they will fall back into the cesspool of dictatorship be it clerical or politician...jmo

One thing is to remember is the genesis of this whole thing........... the west taking out Sadam. Al Maliki, Shabibi et al. would not be in the position or have the opportunity to make the decisions and have the power they do if it weren't for the Billions of $'s and lives lost in the fight for their independence.

On top of what Mak63 said, would they rather be under the boot of a tyrant ruled by fear and no future that I or any of you would want to be a part of. The Iraqi people have been kept in the dark by Saddam, his followers and their practices. Now they see what freedom really is, and they are following suit with the "American" way. They may be dumb, but that are not that dumb. Seems to me that they know exactly what they are doing by holding up the RV/RI/RD if in fact they are holding it up at all due to wanting a larger piece of the pie. They stand to not only become monetarily rich, but rich with commerce, technology, education, agriculture, and most of all pride. I for one am proud to be a part of this "investment", not only to make a buck or two but to be a part of history in the making, Iraq's future depends on this and they know it. They owe it to themselves, they owe it to the world to better themselves, as so many have helped them arrive where they are today. And yes, some have sacrificed their lives. US and coalition forces should be remembered by each and every Iraqi citizen, and never forgotten. They are living in the "new" Iraq because of them, only natural that the IQD should be "new" as well!

Think positive, think RV.

Each day is a gift, some more so than others.
