Post RV Vegas Party Planning

Recommended Posts

I will volunteer to contact casinos in Vegas to get rooms (probably free) for our post RV celebration.

Can we get volunteers to help with communication with the people that want to attend?

Also, maybe someone to handle surveys of what shows people want to see and/or other activities?

I know that Harrahs has a plane that they use to bring high rollers to Vegas. We may be able to tap into that!

Maybe someone to keep track of who is going and preferred dates?

We are getting close... better start organizing our planning!

Note: Do not post your email or request anyone to email you in this thread, we don't want to get anyone in trouble!

Bellagio and the Venetian, penthouse suites, both are wonderful stays IMO

Cosmo You Got That Right! biggrin.gif I have also found Balleys to be quite comfortable (large rooms) and reasonable. As Oregon Hopeful said we may be able to block a number of rooms free.

Oregon Hopeful You are right it would be a good idea to plan as much as we can now while we are waiting.

I would like to help any way I can, just let me know where you would like to begin. rolleyes.gif

I live in Vegas. I recommend Cosmopolitan for clubbing (Marquee). The M Resort for buffet (all you can drink too). Caesars forum shops for shopping. Aria for hotel rooms. Gamblings the same everywhere. You won't see me here once it RVs cuz I've "donated" enough to the casinos and my state gov't haha. Dont forget to tip!

Any of these places family (kid) friendly?? Never been and would love to go, hubby worked there for a few months before we met and loved it.

It was a gamble to buy the dinar in the first place...

From what I understand, LV has been made to be kid friendly and more well rounded for families. I don't have kids, so somebody needs to help you out with that for the facts. I am sure the web has a ton of information, or the LV Chamber of Commerce would be good.

I won't be gambling, I have done that for over a year now. snark. But LV has some of the best restaurants and good shopping. Golf is good and the newer hotels (Wynn) are gorgeous. I don't even want a free room. I want to pay so I get a two room suite. It's only dinar!

With the economy condition, we should be able to get rooms either in blocks, or on our own.

OMG! We are actually planning the party. B)

Bring your dad. If he is single, I want to meet him. Does he have dinar? I am just kidding.

If you need a babysitter, I can help out too. I don't gamble or drink, so this could work out. Don't even think about not going because of a sitter. I am going to volunteer George Hayduke too! B)

A huge part of me does not even want to think about planning any celebration untill I see this is actually going down for certain , I will not lie, though I have thought about what I would do afterwords, If and When RV happens, and it is delightful to consider just having great time somewhere. I would go to Vegas but I will wait until this completely unfolds and certain things get taken care of first. Great Idea though.
