This is posted as early morning news in Iraq: "State of alert and preparedness in Baghdad starting next Sunday."

If the RV is to occur before Monday because the Iraqi get paid that day (the reduced rate), then it will probably happen on Sunday, about 5 pm, in Iraq. That will be 0900 am in EST in the USA.

All hands to battle stations Sunday morning, February 28. JMO

I suspect we need to PRAY without ceasing - until the desired event occurs. Then pray for stability in Iraq and continued increases in the new exchange rate.

The link does work. It says exactly what was quoted above. Don't know if that means RV though. At any rate, we can sure hope.

I think this is clearly associated with the upcoming elections since the sentence just previous to the line about increasing security as of Sunday is referring to the upcoming elections (work hours). Hope I'm wrong and it is for the RV, but not sure that is what is being said here...

No offense, but there is no R/V in the mix over here. Security four days in advanced has nothing to do with an R/V, dont read into everything as an R/V. There has been no idication in Iraq of an R/V. I let the Iraqis look at all this stuff and they think it funny as all get out.

Im sure this has to do w/ the elections not an RV. I was in Iraq for the 1st elections after the invasion in 2005 and this is what happens every year before the elections. "Debunked" from a person who's been there an saw first hand what happens before the elections.
