YES! Thanks for posting. I don't care if it's a few months old or not. It's just so nice to hear them actually verbalize that they will definitely revalue. :)

technically it wasn't "them" verbalizing it, CCTV is a Chinese station and I doubt that the reporter knows the diff between RV, RD, or Reform.

just thought you might want to know. :)

also, they have not been printing larger and larger denoms to combat inflation. Current denoms were all printed at the same time, as well as the fact that the new IQD has increased in value since it's introduction and has not become less valuable. My only point is that details in the story are not accurate to the situation in Iraq.

You are saying that they printed at that time, they have not printed more IQD since then?

all the denoms were printed at that time, no new denominations have been introduced.

If you look at printing dates for the New IQD, all the current denoms except the 500 notes were introduced in 2003, the 500 note in 2004.

In 2004 & 2006, more of the 5k, 10k & 25k notes were printed. There were also different signatures on the note between the 2003 & 2004/2006 lots.
