Butifldrm Posted February 22, 2010 Report Share Posted February 22, 2010 I always look at Aswat Al Iraq for the daily auctionCBI sells $162m on Mon.February 22, 2010 - 10:13:10BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Central Bank of Iraq’s (CBI) dollar sales rose to $162.06 million in its daily auction on Monday, compared to $81.712 million in the previous session.“The demand hit $12.610 million in cash, covered at an exchange rate of 1,170 Iraqi dinars per dollar, and $149.450 million in foreign transfers outside the country, covered at an exchange rate of 1,173 Iraqi dinars per dollar,” according to a CBI news bulletin received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.None of the 15 banks that participated in today’s session offered to sell dollars.The Central Bank of Iraq runs a daily auction from Sunday to Thursday.SS (P)Have a great day Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
