This ows "movement" is an amalgam of communists, socialists, hippy's, neo nazi's, anarchists, arab spring sympathizers, anti-semites, drug dealers, pedophiles, armed felons, and sexual predators. Seems I left a few out, but they pretty much represent the dregs of society. On their way to start a revolution that's destined to ruin the american economy and the world economy there is plenty of public drug use, sex, defacation, urination, and masterbation, and sexual assault.

This is some scary stuff and it's spreading and picking up steam. This is an excellent time to point out that any public displays of wealth after the rv would truly be putting yourselves in danger. For me this means stocking up on privisions, becoming well armed and hunkering down til we figure out just what is happening here.

I don't think society failed anyone. I see it as a lack of taking personal responsibility for oneself, and creating ones own reality, and destiny. No body owes anyone anything.

This movement from what I can see has sprung from an entitlement mentality. The ows'ers feel the "1%" should just give them their money. No one is willing to just give these people anything, I'm not, but yet there they are demanding it. If it's a communist utopia they are after we need look no further than the ussr, cuba, and north korea to see how that experiment has failed miserably. All that was ever accomplished and ever will be accomplished under that ideology is equal poverty, misery, and oppression for all. Of course these people only want other people to distribute their money, not they themselves, as evidenced by their unwillingness to share their own food with the homeless in their occupation camps.

If we contrast the tea party rallies with the ows we see the tea party orderly, violence free, and they cleaned up after themselves. The ows in contrast has left nothing but filth, and crime. They are sucking the police presence we all need and the rest of us pay for with our taxes.

If their behavior so far is any indication of the types of leaders they would make should their revolution succeed. Sexual assaults, assaults, rape, rampant drug use, theft, public masterbation, urination, defacation... the list goes on. People who behave in this way should they find a unified voice will force on us a tyranny far greater than any political system currently in place. Right now they are a mishmash of ideologies, communism, neo naziism, islam, and anarchy, If they find a unifying voice that unites them into a united cause that is when they will become truly dangerous and will represent a tyranny far greater than the earth has ever seen. that is a tyranny that must be fought against.

Anyone who thinks they are demonstrating simply to change banking laws I think is being naive. This is the beginning of their revolution. We can't ignore this out of existence, it's coming and we are going to have to be on one side or the other.

Cranster. Thank you for an extremely good reply. I do agree with a great deal of what you have said. Yes we are responsible for our actions. Yes there are people who just wish to take, take, take and give nothing back. But society does fail people at times and some not all of these people will be within these protest groups. Sadly because it give them as sense of belonging and purpose for a little while. All be it for the wrong reasons. Yes these people are dangerous and are mosty certainly draining the public purse of much needed services. I do not have the answers , other than we all need to stand up to them. Thank you for the post and allowing my opinion to be expressed. +1 to you.

I'm not sure where this is heading, but it is global in scale. It's in canada, euorpe, australia, the middle east. I have a feeling it's moving everywhere.

There are people who fall through the cracks, people that are develpmentally delayed, and those that live in extremely impoverished drought stricken area's like africa that should be looked after by the rest of us. There is legitimate need in society and it is our responsibility to help those who truely can't help themselves. It's the able bodied, sound minded... well relatively sounded minded people that are demanding a handout need to figure out how they are going to support themselves cause no one else is.

Another +1 to you sir and I take my hat off to you. I am unable to post with that degree of mental clarity @ present because of some heavy meds. Thank you for the help in expressing the point I was trying, maybe unsuccessfully, to make. Yes I do believe it is global. I do not know if it has arrived here in the uk yet because I have been in hospital for several weeks and can't remember the last time I saw a newspaper or report.
