These czars were few and far between, and rarely did anything that seriously ruffled any feathers. But President Obama has taken this to an unprecedented level, to the point where these appointments are dangerous to our constitutional regime.

This has become too much for the longest-serving senator in U.S. history to stomach. Democratic Senator Robert Byrd is the president pro tempore of the U.S. Senate. Even though Senate rules vest most powers in the Senate majority leader, the president pro tempore is a constitutional officer, and third in line to the U.S. presidency (after the vice president and the Speaker of the House). This office is held by a Democrat, who has been serving in the Senate since before Barack Obama was even born.

Senator Byrd wrote a letter to President Obama in February, criticizing the president’s strategy of creating czars to manage important areas of national policy. Senator Byrd said that these appointments violate both the constitutional system of checks and balances and the constitutional separation of powers, and is a clear attempt to evade congressional oversight. (Didn’t this White House promise unprecedented transparency?)

He never stopped drilling in the gulf. He stopped DEEP WATER drilling for a period of time after the Deep Water Horizion accident in order to review and update the saftey regulations for this activity. Ask the shimpers and boat operators in Alabama and Lousisiana if they think deep water permits should be flowing again already???? You know, all those small business operators that are now going broke due to no more supply of their product. Or ask all the bed and breakfast operators and gift shop operators along the gulf that lost their livelyhood due to the accident.

It was done by the US Export Import Bank. And the loan was approved by 3 Republicans and 2 Democrats on the board of EX-IM Bank that were appointed by George W. Bush!!!!

Thomas Jefferson had something like 20,000 korans printed to be handed out to citizens so that they would better understand why we were going to war with Islam back then. Contrary to the Presidents rendition of why Jefferson had a koran. I don't believe Jeffersons goal was to teach American so they could sympathize with their enemy. We were paying them off to keep them from looting our ships in the region and Jefferson said enough of that nonsense, at that time it was about 20% of the budget. I'm researching the Army manual now, but you really need to find a different source on the deportations!!!! Here's part of a post I put up a couple of months ago!

Right from the Immigration & Customs Enforcement site:

2007 FY deportations (last year of the All Republican Government) : 291,060 total deportations.

2010 FY deportations (last fully year of stats available) : 392, 862 total deportations.

2011 FY deportations YTD (with two full months of stats left.) 324,719.

(2010 Stats show that there were over 70,000 deportations the last 2 months of 2010, if they keep that pace they'll be over 400,000!!!

WOW!!!! There is so much here I don't know where to start. But I'll give it a whirl........

1. Did President Bush use his czars or the EPA like this president?

What have President Obama’s Czars done that is so oppressive? What have they done that is so terrible? One example, one article, something. Please provide the support for it too.

2. Did he stop drilling in the gulf and then give money to another country to do that, btw, the company that drilled has Geo Soros as a major player? Did he use the EPA to hold up permits?

He never stopped drilling in the gulf. He stopped DEEP WATER drilling for a period of time after the Deep Water Horizion accident in order to review and update the saftey regulations for this activity. Ask the shimpers and boat operators in Alabama and Lousisiana if they think deep water permits should be flowing again already???? You know, all those small business operators that are now going broke due to no more supply of their product. Or ask all the bed and breakfast operators and gift shop operators along the gulf that lost their livelyhood due to the accident.

As to the money to Brazil, I'd suggest some internet research on this also. I'm not going to go into all the details on this, but suffice it to say, this was not done by President Obama. It was done by the US Export Import Bank. And the loan was approved by 3 Republicans and 2 Democrats on the board of EX-IM Bank that were appointed by George W. Bush!!!!

3. Did he squash our opportunities to work in this country? Did he take money from us to give to his supporters like Obama has?

Yes he did, by squandering trillions of dollars on unfunded wars, unfunded Medicare Part D and with No Bid Contracts give to his and Cheney’s cronies, he did both of these things. Has Obama continued down this road? Yes he has. Doesn’t make him any better or worse than Bush.

The rest is just your opinion. So on the facts of your post, you are dead wrong. I know you'll never support him, and I'm sure he doesn't care, but for people to keep perpetuating the party lies is no longer acceptable.

If this country is going dig it's way out of the mess created by both parties, the last 5-10 presidents, and the monied interests; we better quit all this BS and start figuring out how to work together to get control back in the hands of the taxpayer and out of the hands of the top 400 people and top 500 corporations. This country was never intended to be run by and for the advantage of the few.!!!!

Since when do ILLEGALS have rights? Somebody please show me, where the hell did ILLEGALS get rights. THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY! Someone please tell me what foreign country do we have rights in! I am so sick of the whole subject of ILLEGALS having rights. Please show me where in the Constitution does it say that ILLEGALS HAVE RIGHTS IN OUR COUNTRY! We should be shooting these INVADERS! Instead we are giving them rights?

I have to agree with this earlier post.

You go to ANY OTHER COUNTRY illegally and see what RIGHTS they afford you - NONE!

You can waste your time contacting the American Concul - and they will tell you quick that you are SOL (Shi_ outta luck).

I do not agree with shooting illegals but they should be found & deported AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

The construction, hotel, and labor businesses that hire them should be heavily fined.

The whole reason that all these illegals are here is because there is always a business who will hire them because the business does not want to pay a decent wage & health & dental benefits to a legal employee.

BIG BUSINESS is to blame. They do not directly hire illegals - they play the "I DID NOT KNOW" that the contractor we hired to provide workers was hiring illegals game.

Meanwhile, Americans go without employment!

done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs.

It took 2 Years, but they deported them!

Now...if they could deport the illegals back then - they could sure
