Its not about just one article.....its about the topic in its entirety......

The details behind the whole idea, what it does, why countries do it and for what reasons....

Ask yourself do you really think that breaking even on an investment and not making huge amounts of cash is what someone wants to hear?? laugh.gif

Why would I want that to be what it is? I wish deleting the zeros meant that a country is going to make me rich but its not gonna change the fact of what it is.....

You wouldnt be saying what you are if you understood it......

You wouldnt be saying what you are if you understood it......Nor do I pretend I am a world class economist with all the answers. You are an auto mechanic and I doubt you have the college courses in your background or the years of experience actually working in the currency field to really understand it either. You make assumptions like the rest of it and if you truly believe what you constantly spout,, you would have left this investment a long time ago.

With your vast knowledge of investments I am sure you are a multi millionaire and only work as an auto mechanic because you love it so much.

laugh.giflaugh.gif So what you decide to do for a living determines your mental capacity and absorbtion of material put in front of you? laugh.giflaugh.gif

This topic is an easy one to understand...you dont need to have a degree in order to understand the dynamics of a redenomination!! I promise you its really not that hard!!! I do believe in what I spout due to all the research I have done and information I have read....never said I know how this will play out in the end, and they dont have to redenominate.....its just what is being put in front of our faces from the CBI.....dont hate me, hate shabibi LOL....

And just because you brought it up, YES I would still keep my job if I hit the lotto (or dinar) I actually enjoy what I do thank you very much!! Can you honestly say that about your job??

Yes I can say that about my job because I don't work nor do I need to work. I understand quite well what the articles are saying, but since they themselves flip flop back and forth on their attentions I will keep an open mind until the end.

Please do not count this chapter in your life as unmemorable. I learned in College the respect and admiration of Professors. Gifted human beings who inspire thought. It's not over until the f#$ lady sings!

Oh, you dear, sweet man!! Thank you for those kind thoughts!!! It's been a long time, but I no longer underestimate the importance of this phase of my life. I lost my bearings a few years ago when my husband died, the love of my life who had been with me only two years, one month, and eleven days from the day we met until the day he died. He was almost a decade younger than me, so it didn't occur to me that I would not go first, but that apparently wasn't the plan God had for us. Jim's loss was almost more than I could live through, and I almost didn't, but I have been slowly healing for a long while now. I must finally be recovering, however, because I've noticed lately that I'm more forward looking than I had been since Jim's death, and I have even been hatching plans to create other ways of teaching. One of those is to write resumeés for women in abuse shelters and to teach writing skills to them so they can enter the work force when the economy comes back (which I believe it will). And I'm also looking for at least one more avenue to teach writing skills, this time to those who are attempting to cross the long bridge from one adult career into a new one. With the world in such turmoil, there are bound to be many displaced people who are making huge shifts in their career lives, and I can be of help to them. In this capacity, I hope to write professional resumeés for both men and women, and to teach writing skills to both as well because I need the balance, and I loved teaching men, too. When the dinar RV's, I'll be able to afford to move back to the city where I taught for so many years, buy a house, furnish it, and then look around to see what else I can do. hahaha So I don't count myself out just yet. In fact, the f@t lady isn't even onstage yet, so she's at least a couple arias away from even beginning to sing her own. :P Again, thank you. Your words touched my heart.

One of the post-RV investments we’ve selected for our own portfolio is expected to produce gains of 27% per year. When compounded, it will only take three years for us to more than double our investment, which should equal what we’d expect to see if we left it in dinars.

The major advantage of putting our post-RV dollars into something else is that our money would be invested into something that we feel much safer with, and yet has a high rate of return. Also, beyond the initial three years, our investment would continue to compound.

In six years, our initial investment will have increased FIVE times…and we don’t have to worry about Iraqi politics. In just nine years our investment would be worth over 11 times what we invested. And finally, if we wait another nine years (18 total), we’re looking at multiplying our initial investment over 122 times. So, we really see no reason to risk leaving our money in dinars.

Do I sense a "can't lose" investment opportunity being pitched in the near future?

BUMPER is right..!

Now let's think of it this way, and end this. Everyone in this Dinar RV/RI/RD possibility(the one's invested) are people in a college seminar! Yes, there is a professor, but s/he is a moderator more than anything else. The students(us) are all finding information that we find relevant to our investment and bring it out to the class(this forum). There are no grades, besides S(satisfactory) and NS(not satisfactory) for attendance.

KEEP's view is just as valid as Tropic's or anyone else!

All we wait for is CLASS DONE! RV!!:D

"Randy’s view is that the rate must allow Iraq to meet their budget."

Oil revenues is what gets Iraq to meet their budget....doesnt matter what their currency value is, they operate off of oil revenues which is in USD....so a rise in value of the dinar will not change whether they can meet their budget or not, only the value of the budget that they announce in IDQ

Exactly Keep, so when next years budget is already being spent what then? HA!

Randy is a smart person, except and if you even look at what Adam has stated, nobody knows how much dinar is out there! If there are truly only around 20% of the 27 TRILLION plus then yes the 3.41 is very plausable, but lets say the 27 Trillion plus is still out there, THERE IS NO WAY THAT 3.41 RATE WILL WORK. Sorry but won't happen. This is where the dime or somewhere around will come in if this is the case. We all hope that most of the dinar has been retired, but if not, well here we are. Randy needs to think further outside of the box as do all of these other guru's that never ever mention the dinar amounts out! Why is that? I have asked the guru's about this for two years, every time they dance around the answer, not to smart in my opinion! So next time one of these so called gurus go off half cocked ask them to explain this and watch em run off.

Next question!

It seems no one takes into consideration all of the CBI generated articles that reference 1 dinar will = 1 USD. The was even one released today. I'll gladly take 1 to 1.

We all notice that, except the fact that when its referrencing deleting the zeros to get a 1 to 1 exchange rate.....thats not how we want them to go about doing it!

I have asked the guru's about this for two years, every time they dance around the answer, not to smart in my opinion!

Its because the only solid evidence there is about how much money there is, says that there is too much dinar in circulation.....

So of course that would take away from all their steam! LOL

once again, simple. high rv=lop. low rv no lop. no more fantasy rates in the 3's, i'm telling you, we dont want a high rate in the beginning!

Thanks and agreed. ...When some Folks drool over the idea /expectation of a $3.00 RV ( or more) they do not consider that there's a 99.99% chance that such a rate ( and bigger ones) will come lopped...

Hey, I sure wouldn't spit on a 300% ( or 4 or 5) gain... But forgive me if I'd rather get a 0.10 cents rate and make a 10,000% gain ( 100 times my Capital) instead.....

Umbertino you have always been rite on time , I agree 100% just false hopes and greed for a lot of folks in dinarland

Thanks my Friend... Of course that's just my very humble opinion and would adore being proven wrong with a STRAIGHT $3.00 rate RV which would mean a 300,000% gain ( 3,000 times my Capital)...

Somehow my Logic tells me it's not going to be the case. Again mvho.... We'll see... Good Luck to us.

Well done, lionfish!! Keep is a big boy, so I don't usually defend him because I don't need to do it, and don't need to even now, but it's only fair. I have to point out to you that intelligence and/or a broad base of general knowledge, and what one does for a living are not equal and thus, comparable. And even if they were, do you know what kind of cars Keep works on? The people who own those cars don't just turn them over to anyone. And I suspect they don't hesitate to hold him fully accountable for the work he does. It's been my experience that people who are highly discerning in one way (such as those who own those cars) will usually be quite discerning in other ways, so if Keep hadn't become an expert at his work, he would not have been doing it long. That said, I think it shows a pretty big hole in your common sense to attack another person's intelligence based on his job. Many people today consider themselves fortunate in this uncertain world to even have a job, let alone to have one doing what they truly enjoy. So you were completely out of line to attack Keep's intellgence and knowledge by belittling his work.
