[Adam Montana] and I know for a fact that this can be pushed through with a simple meeting and a few signatures

[Adam Montana] there is a question about the IMF from one of he members that I'll answer in a few minutes - so stand by for that

[Adam Montana] ( "only" 1000% return... I'm not going to cry about it!)

[Adam Montana] but my next email's purpose was to let you all know that my "prediction" of a .10 RV is only my opinion based on my research and contact's information

[Adam Montana] others that I talk to say it could be a heck of a lot higher, up to a dollar

[Adam Montana] but NOBODY I talk to - well, at least in the group of people that actually have brains - NONE of them think it would ever be over a dollar

[Adam Montana] the consensus is basically that if it were to come out at a high rate (in my opinion, anything over a dime is high)

[Adam Montana] it would at best be on par with the dollar, to quickly transfer future transactions AWAY from the USD

[Adam Montana] that's my top end analysis... don't let me forget to use the famous words: "In My Opinion'

[kcw] TimS Adam How can Iraq back 30 trillion dinar at $1us today, when they only valued 30 billion dinar at $3.22us during Sadaam's time? They have the same amount of natural resources now that they had back then for all practical purposes. Then.....30 billion dinar had market value of $96.6 billion us dollars.....today if they RV at $1 per the 30 trillion dinar would value of $30 trillion us dollars....that's an increase of $29.9 trillion us dollars in value?????? I tended to agree with your 10 cents RV because it would have only increased the market value of their currency by $2.9 trillion us dollars....seemed like something a new democratic government could realistically support with a little help from the rest of the world. Does anybody have an idea of how much $29 trillion dollars is.....how it fits into the overall global monetary picture? Please help me to understand this in as simple terms as you can.....thanks

[Adam Montana] TimS there is no way to know exactly how much is in circulation and how much they would have to back - but I'll answer anyway.

[Adam Montana] Let's say there truly is 29 T in circulation

[Adam Montana] if they RV at a dime, they are only covering 2.9T, rather than the whole shebang

[Adam Montana] regardless

[Adam Montana] they don't have to have the entire wagon of cash on hand to cover the physical currency

[Adam Montana] and odds are likely that they will put a limit on cashing in

[Adam Montana] I'm willing to bet that if that is an accurate number, only half will actually get hauled in before the deadline is reached

[Adam Montana] even at $1, they can put a large spread on the exchange and reduce it even further

[Adam Montana] it's a good question, but first we need proof of how much is actually in circulation

[Adam Montana] then we have to understand that Iraq has vast reserves

[Adam Montana] add to that the fact that the CBI is the only market for the Dinar now, and will be the only market for probably 90 days after the rate goes up

[Adam Montana] they can control every aspect of it

[Adam Montana] and finally

[Adam Montana] they don't have to pay it out in cash - a majority of it will be in the form of a digital transfer

[Adam Montana] lots of aspects to consider

[Adam Montana] the bottom line is they can afford to raise the rate

I do not think I can stress enough how delighted I am about my decision to join THIS particular forum. The respect among the majority of the memebers, despite opposing views, is only enhanced by the members who keep it real and encourage fair play (on a multitude of topics). The mods...well...there's alot of daily posts to filter and I personally am amazed to see how quickly questions/issues are addressed.

Finally, Adam (not looking for brownie points...already have VIP )...I feel confident in his reasons for bringing this forum to us. Yes, he probobly will get a great break on his personal "spread" at cash in considering the number of folks he is carefully coordinating for the RV, however, I don't think that's his motivation in this really. He provides VIP that covers this site (technically an add free zone compared to others) and the same opportunity for lower cash in costs to VIP's that "going alone" simply wont produce. Despite the work it involves (on top of his real job), Adam is quick to respond and never over bearing. I, actually, think he enjoys this madness and this dinar family. (side note, Adam, the new chat...yeah, DEF rocks)

My observation is that overall fairness is encouraged as well as the support of different views...and a great deal of member respect. Of any site I've sadly visited, this site offers the most prepared and informed...most fair...most balanced information and views. Yes, indeed, I am quite happy about my selection and proud to be a DinarVet. Thank you, Adam...thank you Mods...thank you friends. I will leave when "pigs fly".
