blunter
What do you guys think about this list of dates? Does this means RV will happen on one of these dates? Just curious................maybe you guys can share some thoughts............ My link
jmw
"Generally, the rates are updated monthly, based on market conditions. Adjustments are also made following official government devaluations or revaluations." the above is in their disclaimer...The CBI is the only authority that can adjust the rate...once they adjust it they would then forward it to the GOI and the IMF. So I don' think the dates would be significant.
blueskygal
I have a feeling this may already have been discussed. I find it very interesting that after October 1 - all the mid month dates say "if applicable" as if to say they are updating only once a month going forward? Of course, a reval/deval of a currency does not have to correspond to these rate schedules "operational rates of exchange" as they are updated in the next batch anyway. Does anyone know WHY they changed the schedule? Also, if you look at November it will update on the 11th for the 15th - I suppose because of the weekend?
